If Elenin has truly broken up, that may be bad news for us. It seems to me that the fallout from Elenin's fragments will now be greater than if Elenin had stayed in one piece. There would not be much slowing down or changing of the direction of fragments in the vacuum of space.

The NWS has rescheduled the NWR Routine Weekly Test from Wednesday, November 9, 2011, to Tuesday, November 8, to mitigate any potential confusion that could arise from the Nationwide Emergency Alert System (EAS) Test scheduled for November 9 at 2:00 PM Eastern Standard Time.

Local NWS offices and NWS Regional Offices may elect to cancel the NWR RWT test for that week after consultation with respective state emergency management officials, state emergency communications or EAS committees.

If the rescheduled NWR RWT cannot be conducted because of potential severe weather on Tuesday, November 8, the test should be canceled for that week. The few locations that conduct a second NWR RWT test later in the day should make a reschedule/ cancellation decision after consulting with area emergency management, emergency communications, and EAS officials.
No NWR RWT test should be conducted on Wednesday, November 9, 2011.

Indeed. I think it odd that the US Emergency Broadcast test is being touted as 'anxiety surfacing across US". I haven't heard anyone talking about it. It would seem they are trying to get folks worked up.

Well, if I did understand correctly there will be a lots of electronic equipment involved (air and cable signaling including of course theirs beloved tellies) but, in total, nothing too serious that couldn't be disarmed by single, medium scale, solar flare (not to mention if Earth's magnetic field is weakened). My conclusion is: if something like this electromagnetic event occurs, this whole alert system is worthless

There is some chatter on the net that some have speculated that the PTB may use the recent fly by of the earth through comet Elenin's debris field, and the close approach of Asteroid 2005 YU55 as means to there end. There is also (which again is speculation) that the debris flied of Elenin, and the pass of 2005 YU55 Asteroid may create a tremendous meteor shower, as the asteroid passes through the debris, and possibly scatterer's the remnants of the tails dust, maybe towards earth around the date's of 8-10 of Nov. This would coincide with the practice run of Emergency broadcast system coming this week.

Could this situation ( if does develop) be parlayed into making of this possible light show as something it is not, other then an act, Astronomical in nature?

Will the PTB ko-ko cloak be working over time to make this work (if has any basis) to manipulate society for there own personal gain, possibly to imply of a preemptive strike from Iran, an alien invasion, a means to shut down communications of the net, or monetary system, or global Marshall law, to God knows what.

But in the shadows if they act on any possible out come of these events, it would spell possible manipulation, and control.

I'm inclined to think that the main things that will be happening will be more geological and weather events related to the Electric Universe theory and thus the proximity of the Elenin debris field and the Apophis. More earthquakes/volcanic eruptions are certainly in the offing, more sky strangeness, that sort of thing.

What the PTB will do is something else to consider. Certainly, things are heating up and they might use this as an opportunity to tighten their grip by some staged terrorist business that gets partly blamed on "comet/apocalyptic fever".

If memory serves me, which I often wonder about, back at 9/11 wasn't the gubemint also staging an emergency preparedness exercises around that time? Is this a pattern developing? This is interesting to watch and "see" what happens... Either nothing happens or again I will be saying "That Figures"...
