I finally decided to buy it even if I bought it on original version two weeks ago. But, I've got a problem with the card payment.

Hereafeter the message I got after the transaction:

Declined. Sorry, this transaction has been declined by your card issuer. No other information was passed to WorldPay as part of your confidentiality agreement with your card issuer. You may wish to try another card.

The thing is my Bank Card is a Visa, and I do not reach the maximum of the used amount. And I do not have another card BTW. I tried for three days, so I do not know what to do.
Another reason why this could not work?

Thanks for letting me know that I could pay that way! The same thing happened to me last week - the bank declined the payment, and then my bank called me to check for fraud. Apparently some banks don't recognize World Pay - took me 1/2 hour on the phone with them to get things sorted out as they were getting ready to put a hold on my card I just decided to order from Amazon after that. I am not with one of the large banks - it is a community bank, and am glad they are looking out for me, but it can be a nuisance!

Just to clarify, the best way to pay for a SE edition of HofM via paypal is to click on the "donate" button at the top right of this page and the click on the first "donate" button in the next screen. That'll take you to a paypal page where you just enter the amount and your CC details. When you've done that, send an email to me at joe@paleochristianity.org with "Horns of Moses payment" in the subject line.

As I did not know the book would have a special edition, I bought it 10 days ago via Amazon, so it is too late for me, but I will remember the fact for the next purchase!

Same here. I was too fast on the uptake ;). If I had displayed some patience I would have ordered the special edition. Maybe later. BTW, I wrote my first review on Amazon. It is fitting that it should be for Comets and the Horns of Moses. Technically it is for the Kindle edition which I read a month ago. However, like many of you I always prefer having paper in my hands, especially when poring through something as dense with information as HOM. My second reading will be careful and thoughtful. The first time I read it like a novel always wanting to see what happens next. After a more careful second reading I may have something pertinent to say. In any case, wow. This series (Secret History) will definitely put Laura on the map.

I received my copy yesterday. I am putting it aside to re-read when some time has gone by after reading the kindle edition. The illustrations and print style are lovely, I'm grateful for this work being carried out and somehow having reached it in the labyrinth of life.

Book was ordered on RPP and QFC sent an
email saying status was changed to shipped
on 3/2/13.

Since I do not have the postal tracking ID, I
just wondered when can I expect to receive
the book from the postal service?

Maybe someone in the postal service intercepted
the book, is reading it during lunch time, and will
eventually send the book on its way?

I guess it depends on where it is going to... coming from France. It will be interesting to know how long it takes. So if people will note the postmark and let us know how many days it takes to various places, that would be good.

I don't think we send them ground but I'm not in charge of that. And everybody else has gone to bed now (as I will be in a moment) so I'll find out tomorrow. Maybe you'll get it tomorrow? Fingers crossed!

I received mine on Wed, Mar.13. It was postmarked Mar.4, so just 9 days from France to Michigan, USA. That was faster than the christmas card! It appears they were sent first class mail (air, not ground), so give it a few days dant, and it should be in your mailbox. :)
