I have already stated it in a thread on the forum, but i wanted to reiterate with some info i did not realize before, so i suppose i am kind of bragging. I apologize for the noise. I just thought it was really cool. I inquired about Secret history of the world, and this book at the small town library that i am close to, and they actually bought the books to be put into circulation based on my description, and some of the stuff they read about it online. I was speaking with the two ladies today, and they were really interested in it. They bought them online from a site akin, but not related to Amazon. It is funny, cause one of the things that really intrigued the both of them was all the people "slamming" Laura, and her work. Seems the old adage is true, that any press is good press.

Perhaps the idea of mastering the petty tyrant extends to mastery over the matrix system that we find ourselves in, at any point in time. It seems to make sense that we must take on and master 3D before we can take on and master 4D.

I think in our current civilization a disproportionate amount of economic and political power is held by corporations. I think the minority in the 1% who have the majority of the economic power would probably be mostly those who work for or are favoured by the interests of corporate power, rather than those who have particularly mastered 3D. But I think I would agree that mastering 3D ought to correlate with some degree of economic competence, e.g. being able to earn a living when able-bodied and of working age, rather than being economically dependent on others. I am not sure about whether mastering 3D should also give political competence, as politics seems to involve much irrationality and falsehoods at present, and the most successful politicians seem be those that are most willing to propagate and repeat some of those lies. (And perhaps corporations have more political power than politicians now anyway?)

Alejo is right, this is an amazing book to read however if you were truly looking for a signed copy perhaps you should've asked first? The original post does state it was limited availability and that was a few years ago. I hope you do get a signed copy but if you don't I wouldn't be too disappointed because the book is a gem either way. :)

The Book arrived - finally !!! No signed copy though . . . Still, this is one roller coaster ride I won't forget in a hurry . . . I'm on on page 63, my eyes are bleary and I haven't slept properly since . . .

First impressions -

1. Laura is a Zen-master with The Word (-craft), she does what she does best - strips away our preconceived notions about history to the bone, brutally, layer by layer, until you're cornered, there's nowhere left to turn or run and, strangely, you're begging for more. The WICCAN's say a 'book is a Spell' and Laura holds you spellbound.

2. Page 19 - What makes this a treat is Laura's disarming honesty for eg

Time passes and human beings get older and duller and I'm no exception

3. Writing style - the difference between the "two Laura's" - one of the 1994 and 1995 "Transcripts" where she's gingerly stepping into the pool of Hidden Wisdom and takes care not to ruffle any feathers and in "Horns of Moses" where she's out in the open with both guns blazing i.e her her razor sharp intellect and writing ability . . .

As the Cs say - Let it unfold . . . Remember - All there is are Lessons (28 Dec 1996 / Torren) !!!!

I've finished the main draft of "Josephus, Pilate and Paul: It's Just a Matter of Time" and it is currently being read by biblical scholar Philip Davies. I'm working almost everyday on the annotated transcripts. As soon as I get the 97 volume put to bed I'll start on "The Secret History of God" which will go online before it is published as a book.

Basically, I'm dancing as fast as I can considering I wasn't able to walk for six weeks...

And it is really interesting that Burton Mack has identified the earliest layer of the alleged Jesus sayings in the gospels as being distinctively Cynic

Couldn't locate the reference in the Bibliography though but according to Wikipedia Burton Mack is . . . primarily a scholar of Christian origins, approaching it from the angle of social group formation. Mack's approach is skeptical, and he sees traditional Christian documents like the Gospels as myth as opposed to history. He sees the gospels more as charter documents of the early Christian movements, not as reliable accounts of the life of Jesus.
