We are in the ...woo, and as such we cannot discuss woo, but we are all dealing with it, be sure about that.
I've watched Clif High's recent videos as well and was glad for some of the connections he'd been making for his listeners. One in particular was a discussion of the vagus nerve system, the value of protecting and strengthening it, and the use of good fats to keep healthy (a far cry from 10 or 15 years ago when he ended his writings with the suggestion to eat pie!). He also made the connection between the tendency of some leftists to go vegetarian - leaving them more vulnerable to a weakened immune system and, coupled with a greater tendency to get vaxxed - much more likely to fall seriously ill, or worse.
The most helpful and important of his insights I think -
wasn't about how the elites are panicking over "low" vaccination rates, or how the government will be shedding functions in the coming times. It also
wasn't the slow disclosure, revelations and realizations that even the so-called 'normies' would be experiencing and processing in the coming months and years either. No. Though all of that was and is interesting (and further voicing of things we'd been discussing here, in depth, for quite a while now) - the most important and constructive of his insights, in my opinion, was simply (and I'm paraphrasing here) this:
The coming times will be so tumultuous and chaotic that we need to be preparing our minds and emotions and working on maintaining as level-headed and non-reactive a state of mind as possible. Clif High made a real point in saying this because he, (like we've been discussing here for forever) recognize how easily we can sometimes get off-kilter in even the best of circumstances. So imagine when things
really get farkata. People will be losing their heads all around us at a, very sadly, incredible rate. And knowing and understanding the reasons for the madness is not always a guarantee of being able to respond optimally to it, or to metabolize well the shocks we'll be experiencing as a result of bearing witness.
I recently got a taste of the craziness at my job, btw. A customer, who didn't want to wear a mask (which I couldn't blame him for), went on such a bizarre and unhinged tirade about it that I thought I had just stepped into the scene of a David Lynch movie; it was
that nutty. The situation he created was handled with relative ease but I now have to consider that the next one may not be. And there will be 'next ones' for everyone of course - among any number of different circumstances and states of being that we'll need to work to the best of our ability on.
I don't think its necessary or even constructive to expect "perfection" from ourselves. I also don't think its realistic to beleive that we won't have some bad days, or feeling like a deer in the headlights from time to time. But I do think that, with an extra measure (or two!) of self-observation, being proactive about using the various modalities at our disposal, anticipating problems or attacks, being well rested, exercised, fed, and informed - we can do a lot of good for ourselves and this network - and perhaps become even stronger in the face of some truly interesting, and sometimes disturbing, times.
