Yeah, it's interesting the leaders of countries isolating themselves running for the hills, do they fear the people or something else? Preparing for war maybe climate change? Joe mentioned food riots. People think the government are going to help them through the econonmic collapse. Well they will find out the hard way just how much government doesn't care about them at all.

Yeah, the media tell them what to worry about and who to care about, the most common phrase now days is "The news said" I'm this hearing it more and more.

One thing that I'm noticing is that many articles and official announcements seem to be using the words coronavirus and COVID-19 interchangeably. But are they really the same thing? I'm thinking of coronavirus as the wild virus and COVID-19 as the lab engineered version, so my thoughts could be off. Given that they haven't distinguished between coronaviruses and COVID-19 in tests, then it's likely that they are using the words interchangeably as part of the spin in the media.
For example, in a release by the Deputy Chief Medical Officer:
"And anyone who thinks we can impose restrictions for two or three weeks and then lift them and we can return to our normal lives – free of coronavirus – is misguided."
Coronaviruses have been around for a long time, so the likelihood that we'll ever be free of it is pretty good and I'm sure the Deputy Chief Medical Officer is aware of that. But then he goes on to say in the very next sentence:
"The risk is COVID-19 would rear its ugly head again, more aggressive than before."
I get the chills just reading that - it's almost like they are showing their hand and admitting 'that's what we're working on'.
So maybe the lockdowns are because they really don't want too many of us catching this COVID-19 version because a) it might have the opposite effects to what they planned and b) might give us immunity for future versions that they are working on.
With that in mind and Fauci's about face, maybe they're looking at lifting restrictions and lock downs so that we all catch the new version that they're possibly working on?

A crazy thought comes to my mind. On a lot of articles posted on this thread and this video I just saw post by Joe (see below) it seems to me that people are being taken to the hospital supposedly because of the virus and on the other hand, people / articles report that oddly the hospitals are empty, so the logical question that follows is where did all these people go, or were they taken away ?
First lawsuits are happening in Germany too - still only a few, but I think this will eventually turn into a storm! Good luck defending societal suicide because of the flu in a court of law!

The way I read this is that he's been director of the NIAID since 1984 and he's seen "surprise infectious disease outbreaks" that happen during every administration's term, so he is sure that the same thing will happen during Trump's term.

GERMANY Dec 25-Dec 31, 2019: Charité (clinic in Berlin) starts developing test for the new Corona virus after first informal information reaches them. Later sends prototype to China, "unnamed colleagues" in China confirm that it works. WHO then publishes the test on its website as the first test. I don't know that anyone can really know better than you what's going on there. There's no substitute for seeing a situation first hand. I believe that you are reporting what you saw before being quarantined.

I woke up today immediately feeling like a new man. I felt positive and hopeful for the first time in too long and like a great burden had been lifted from me. I haven't caught up with the thread yet but I hope that I am not alone in this.
However, once I went online I started to see reports of UK police forces over zealously fining people for walking their dogs etc because it was not 'essential'. This is in direct contravention of the UK government guidelines that specifically state that one trip for the sake of exercise is permitted. It made me very angry and firmed my resolve not to let this current oppression get to me. The phrase 'don't let the bastards get you down' came to mind. I left the house for the first time in four days and happily was not stopped by P.C. Plod and challenged on the necessity of my trip. It's a good job; I'm not sure I would have been able to hold my tongue. The local supermarket has imposed even more restrictions from my last trip a few days ago. 'They' are doing this incrementally so that the masses will accept the changes. Soon we will be in a full Dystopia!
In other news, I started reading '1984' last night. I may have read it was I was much younger but if I did I don't think I would have been mature enough to appreciate it then. I thought I should do some research for what I can expect to have to live with

Lastly, it occurs to me that the crackdown on people's activities may not be to stop the spread of the virus at all. What if the majority of the world's populace has already been exposed to it and the crackdown is to promote individuals taking the STS rather than the STO path. Does that make sense?
