I think the studies say 1 nonconformist can break the spell for the rest of the people. It makes sense because most people don't want to be the only person to not conform and so most people won't be the first.

She even said that the help money itself will be taxed!

In the US, unemployment insurance benefits are taxed too.

Small update from germany. Merkel adressed the nation again. In summary she made a big point about this just being „the very, very early stages and beginnings of the pandemic“ aka that it will go on for a very long time. She said until the vaccine is ready will take „a very long time“. She also made it clear that she doesn’t think that, quote, „opening orgies“ are a good idea since some states already started to lessen the restrictions on some businesses.

In general they seem to prime people that „the new normal“ will continue for a long time and that „the pandemic“ can snap back „into full swing“ at any moment and time in the future with all the associated restrictions and „necessities“. Are we in the twilight zone or what? We already thought things are crazy and then came Corona!

Forgot to add. In germany a mask obligation will soon be implemented in 9 out of 16 states while in 1 additional state it is for now „only“ obligatory in public transport and in 2 additional ones the obligation is scattered in some cities. So 4 states are left without any obligation as of yet.

This is in no way surprising. Indeed I believe others brought up the likelihood of such a reaction from our friends in the carbon cult. Now that precedent has been set for widespread, drastic action in the face of a supposed emergency, the warmists will demand that similar action be taken to address their particular emergency.

I expect that any such action will snap a few more people out of their stupor, given that a plurality of the populace already thinks warmism is nonsense.

One of the interesting things that is happening is that the climate cultists are all jumping up and down and saying - Oh look. We can stop emitting CO2 if we really want to. This is what we need. A world with lower CO2. Lets not change back, lets keep doing this and save the planet.

What they are missing - and I am sure this is because of their wishful thinking - is that the great majority of people suffering lock-down actively HATE it. They can't wait for life to get back to a more normal state. They despise the enforced isolation, the travel bans, the restriction with driving and being out and about, the lack of international travel, the socialising over coffee, the dining in restaurants. In many ways, the lock-down has crystallized exactly what an Extinction Rebellion world would be like and for the great majority of people they won't want a bar of it.

That is interesting. Anecdotally, I've had friends report the same thing to me.

Can't say I've experienced any particular change, but I don't often remember my dreams.

I wonder if this could in fact be a side effect of the STO strain of the virus.

Meanwhile, deaths are down, cases are down, and an increasing fraction of the population is simply no longer buying it.

So they double down on the fear-mongering, in order to keep the authoritarian followers who do buy in hypnotized and weaponized against the rest.

One wonders if they realize they overstepped their bounds, and are now desperately casting about for some way of protecting their rear ends before this whole thing blows up in their faces. Hard to see how this particular chapter ends with anything other than a very angry populace.

Now a really outrageous statement comes from prescribing doctors: Do not go to therapy under any circumstances.

So we don't get any recipes at Corona anymore. Today, politics decided to put us under a rescue package. 40% of sales in quarter 2019. What's that supposed to mean? So we will definitely not see any more patients until the vaccine is there. And by then at least 50% of all practices will no longer be there. This affects everyone in the subsequent chain. Immense damage that can never be repaired.

This is sick. There will be a huge shift of wealth from small businesses to corporations. But that's only the tip of the iceberg of the massive damage that will be done everywhere and that the 'stay home, save lives' idiots are completely oblivious of.

Hello, a quick comment on this one.
Can we see this event from another angle ? These practitioners who will be hardly hit, will they renounce to what they ... like to do in life ? Won't they continue to heal others but this time, being even more on the side of the people than the officials ? Could it be seen like a new army of people from the medical side that have a good % of probability to join to the people who oppose to the actual politics ? Let's think about a practical example : more yellow vests ! or ... more Dr against Big Pharma !

But coming back on the news that Nachtweide posted : remember that this is only their WISH(FUL thinkings)
They need to go to the end of their narrative, their plans, and maybe their future exposure. On our side, do like Putin, wait (patiente) and collect information, wait the good moment. - also, keep the faith

I would have to disagree with that. I have been socially distancing for 10 years, similar to my life now. My dreams have become much more active, in a constructive way, than they have been for the past 20 years. In fact, my dreams are often like the dreams that I had as a child. Not able to make sense of how this World operates.

And, my son, 36, seems to be asking similar questions. Even my grandson (4) seems to think this World should operate differently, in his own way of thoughts about things.

That is my signal that the process has actively begun. In 3D things just seem to take a bit of time. The process of waking up from a long deep sleep.

Note to self: keep drinking coffee in the morning. (With Coconut sugar and 18%)

Basically he is a Russian version of an unusually knowledgeable and experienced military officer with religious and national orientation. Many might have guessed that already, but below are more details, including that the speaker is being taken to court for what he said in the video.

Rubezh Studio the origin of the video which has now led to legal problems
I looked up the original Youtube channel Rubezh Studio, and apparently the above video has caused trouble with the law, to the extend the police wish to take him to court along the lines of holding extremist views and misusing means of mass communication. In the Corona video, he said that the pandemic is a lie etc. and that he apparently was not supposed to do. At the moment the video has been seen by more than 8 million people.

Kvachkov is claiming that he has the right to his own opinion, and that he is not the only one who holds that the pandemia as presented is a lie. He and his lawyer who is also there invite viewers to forward evidence that supports his position, so he can present it in court.

I found more about the military structure he had worked with or for in a Wikipedia article on Spetznaz, which are Russian elite units.

See also the Wiki Квачков, Владимир Васильевич — Википедия which confirms he has spent several years in prison, but he is a decorated soldier, with honours that have not been removed in spite legal problems. He has one or even two orders for courage and that seems to be for a reason.

Valdimir Kvachkov: views on Vladimir Putin, the lockdown and religion
Not related to Corona, but for context in relation to the source, there is a recent analysis by the same Vladimir Kvachkov with a commentary on internal changes in the politics in Russia, including the changes to the constitution. He seems to think that Russian and either evolve or face revolution, of which he thinks the latter is more likely. It is not my impression he is a supporter of the policies of Vladimir Putin, maybe Kvachkov is associated with a minor opposition party. To leave an idea of a possible direction, if anyone can recall Igor Strelkov, a Russian conservative who made a name during the conflict in Ukraine in 2014, then one can see them together in a discussion from April 2019. In another Russian video Kvachkov comments on the prohibition of going to Church, Mosque, Temple etc. during the Corona lockdown. He says this is worse than during any other time. I agree with him, and Russia is not the only place, if that is a consolation.

With regard to the comments from Kvachkov on the recent political changes in Russia, there is also another Youtube from the same interviewer, but with another interviewee that explains in which way the present measures challenge the statutes of the Russian constitution. The speaker is a leading member (Chairman?) of the "Permanent Meeting Of national Patriotic Forces Of Russia "Наро́дно-патриоти́ческий сою́з Росси́и (НПСР) See Постоянно Действующиее Совещание Национально-Патриотических Сил России (ПДСНПСР) Since he encourages people to subscribe to Rubezh Studio, this channel might be associated with this political organisation.
