The situation in Ireland goes from the insane to the grotesquely insane.
In summary, to date in 5 months and in a population of 5 million we have had 27,500 'cases' (
equating to 0.5%) and a 'death' total of 1,775 (
equating to 0.03%).
The current 'new cases' stands at a staggering 190 people. There has been 1 'new death'.
Some pandemic!
But do our great leaders act accordingly to fact - hell no!
In a state of implicit panic, The Chief Medical Officer, Ronan Glynn, wrote a letter on 7th August filled with paramoralistic doom and gloom to the Minister for Health, Stephen Donnelly TD, outlining in bare facts the dire reality we face:
As advised on the 7th August, there had been
a sharp rise in cases that week,
more than doubling over the period, and several s
ignificant and large clusters had developed in one region of the country, covering the counties of Kildare, Laois and Offaly. This led to the recommendation and subsequently implementation of a range of public health measures for these counties.
Over the
last ten days, the number of cases in that region has remained high and the number of cases in other parts of the country has also increased. The NPHET met again today specifically to review and discuss the current profile of the disease and the evolving situation across the country and to consider appropriate measures. As part of these considerations, the NPHET noted:
- the increasing case numbers of this disease currently being reported each day, and the increasing incidence observed nationally;
- the primary mode of transmission of the virus is close contact with a confirmed case (including those cases associated with outbreaks);
- the changing profile of contacts identified. More household, workplace, and social contacts have been identified including those associated with sporting activities;
- as of the l2thAugust, the latest estimate of R is 1.6, this number is updated weekly;
- Ireland’s rate of growth in new cases over the past 14 days is the 4th highest among European member states.
Ireland’s current epidemiological situation at the time of consideration by the NPHET was as follows:
Cases and Deaths
- The number of confirmed cases stands at 27,257;
- The five-day rolling average of cases was 96 cases;
- The 14-day epidernio logical incidence per 100,000 population was 23.3;
- 8,495 cases (31% of all cases) were associated with healthcare workers;
- 1,774 deaths due to COVID-19 notified to date;
- The positivity rate for all tests processed nationally in the past week was 1.2%;
- Over the past eight weeks, the total number of cases weekly has increased form a low of 61 cases per week to 533 cases in the week ending 15th August.
Demographic and Location Trends
- 71% of cases notified in the past 14 days have occurred in people under age 45 years, with some evidence of an increase in disease incidence in those over 65 years;
- The median ae for cases notified in the past 14 days is 31 years;
- Kildare continues to have the highest 14-day incidence based (190.1) with Laois (55.5) nd Offaly (133.4) next;
- 11 counties have incidence rates higher than 15 cases per 100,000 population.
Hospitalisations
- There were 21 confirmed cases in hospital yesterday with 4 admissions in the previous 24 hours;
- The number of confirmed COVID-19 patients requiring critical care yesterday was 8, with no new admissions in the previous 24 hours.
Clusters and Modes of Transmission
- The number of clusters are increasing and spreading in geography beyond Kildare, Laois and Offaly;
- More clusters related to social and family engagements, sporting activities and workplaces are being identified;
- 161 new outbreaks in total were notified in the previous week (9th15th August). The total number of outbreaks notified to date was 2,497 with 290 of these remaining open;
- The majority of open outbreaks are located in private households (172 of the 290 open);
- As of the previous week (31’dgth August), the average number of close contacts per case was 5 and the median was 3;
- The total number of households, social, sporting and workplace contacts identified via contact tracing have been increasing over the past two weeks.
Mode of Transmission
- “Close contact with a confirmed case” is now the most frequently cited mode of transmission for cases that have occurred in the past 14 days (62% of cases);
- The proportion of cases that are noted as being attributable to community transmission may be increasing; this is being monitored closely;
- 16% were still under investigation.
Consequently, in light of the current epidemiological status of COVID-19 as set out above, and cognizant of ECDC advice, the NPHET considered today that
a cautious approach must be pursued and advises that the Government give consideration to
the application of a number of enhanced public health measures as set out in the Appendix to this letter to apply across the country1 until midnight on Sunday, 13th September at which point the situation will be reviewed.
Blah, blah, blah...
Dutifully the Minister announced to the nation
August 18th, the following new measures:
The Government announced these new measures to combat coronavirus on Tuesday evening. They are due to come into effect immediately and remain in place until September 13th.
- All businesses should continue to allow remote working where possible.
- If you are having visitors over to your home, you should limit them to six people from no more than three households.
- Outdoor gatherings are to be limited to 15 people.
- Restaurants and cafes, including pubs which serve food, can remain open but with a mandatory closing time of 11.30pm.
- Sports events and matches are to revert to ‘behind-closed-doors’ with no spectators allowed. There should also be strict avoidance of social gatherings before and after games or fixtures.
- Indoor training should be limited to six people and outdoor training should be limited to 15 people.
- Public transport should be avoided where possible.
- If you are travelling in a car or other vehicle with someone from outside your household, it is recommended that you wear a face covering.
- All State bodies with responsibility for monitoring, inspection and compliance will intensify activities on an integrated basis.
Meanwhile, for those over-70 or who are extremely medically vulnerable, it is asked that you use your individual judgement to:
- Keep the number of people you meet as low as possible. When you do meet people - it should be at a distance of two metres and for as short a time as possible.
- Avoid public transport where possible.
- Shop during designated hours (special times that shops have set up for those who are over-70 or medically vulnerable to safely do their shopping).
Add this to the existing 'mandatory' mask wearing, social distancing etc = fascism and fear 2.0, Irish style (now be nice to each other please... but don't be in any way connected).
All this for 190 'new' cases which we can safely assume are the product of increased testing that upon finding any trace of previous contact with COVID family of virus dating back 20+ years logged them as a new case!
In particular to note, to even achieve all these figure they have
clearly been heavily testing and using younger 'health care workers' to try and hide the true demographic that 92% of all cases to date are in the age range 65+. In particular they are trying to get this figure down and
to 'prove' its now impacting younger people because hell, this mustn't be known that this is an old age/infirm condition.
So in essence the virus is completely gone from the population in terms of actual threat - the rest is nothing but fraud.
Some other observations:
- All talk of reaching so called 'herd immunity' has gone from the public narrative (god bless Sweden!) and in fact the government has publicly state its definitely not going for the same - this is evidence to me that the factions in the unelected government here have now fully sold out to the Gates agenda and have defeated any internal opposition to the same.
- The big reason behind this I think is fear and desperation for self preservation within the lower power system with regard to how they deliberately forced 1000s of sick elderly out of hospitals and into nursing homes at the start of the crisis despite knowing full well they had been infected with COVID, leading to the carnage in the same that ensued. They literally have blood on their hands.
- The mask mania is a cover story to shift the growing public unease and calls for inquiries, making the debate here now all about mask wearing and ending any further examination of this state led murder. No one in government believes their own BS - indeed our parliament set up a COVID committee with an independent specialist from Oxford, UK (typical!) to advise and he stated in hearing that masks were unproven and useless. But when called to appear before them, the Minister of Health declared himself unavailable/too busy - and went ahead with the above. Say no more!
- To quote my friend Shake-speare they are "in blood Stepped in so far that, should I wade no more, Returning were as tedious as go o'er". In other words, to save our terrified necks we will now do anything to cover up up our bloody deeds.
- The road ahead is therefore pretty much guaranteed as everywhere else - one step at a time to a mandated vaccine for all that will be enforced by stealth and coercion .
- As someone said, its like muzzling a horse - one gentle, caring step at a time (so the nagg doesn't bolt) but the end game is total control and compliance.
