Macron announces state of “economic emergency” in France, promises small salary increases (VIDEO)
During a public speech on December 10, President Emmanuel Macron declared that the country is in a state of “economic emergency”.

“Today, we are forced to admit. Today, I am announcing an economic emergency in our country,” President said calling for “support” for the French economy.

This was the first official public adress of Macron since the start of “Yellow Vests” protests in the country several weeks ago. He further claimed that there “is no justification to the anger and all those violent clashes” commenting on the protests. However, he was forced to admit that the public has ” right to indignation.”

Macron also promised to increase the minimal wage by € 100 per month starting in May 2019 and to cancel taxes on overtime labor and introduce special tax exemptions for people earning less than € 2,000 per months.

The Gendarmes apparently are not police but para-military controlled by the Interior Minister.

The Gendarmerie is a very old army corps that depended on the Ministry of Defence and attached to the Ministry of the Interior in 2009 under obscure pretexts for a better circulation of information between the different police forces.
In the past, gendarmes were present in all rural areas (deep France). They were very close to the population. Unfortunately, for several years now, the Gendarmerie has also been suffering the dismantling of all public services in the French countryside. Proximity to citizens no longer exists. It's pathetic...

Now, the image that the French have of the Gendarmes, that's it:

If there is anything to that claim, then yellow-florescent hi-vis could very closely 'mimic' the aesthetic properties of monoatomic gold.
All over the world, hunters wear orange vests. I myself wear an orange vest when I ride my bike (to be better seen by cars but also by hunters when I ride on the roads).
is there also a connection?

It is a complicated situation and it will only get more complicated. I personally do not believe anything the EU Politburo says. Glancing at articles quoting Macron gives me the impression that Macron has been given the signal to make promises so as to cool the situation. That's all it will be, a Promise. The "chacals" need time to think and plan their next move because what the French are feeling is no diffferent from the experiences of other nations in the EU.

The French People however are first to publicly bring it out in the open in a very loud way. I continue to salute them for this because the rest of EU is a sorry &ss club of lazy &sses.

Regarding these gendarmes. I read this comment on ZH and it makes sense to me. It it true? I have no clue but I am inclined to think that there is 80% truth in it.

I don't think that French policemen are all happy of what they are ordered to do.
In the last years, in France many policemen killed themselves. In particular, there've been dozens of suicides in the Garde Républicaine since the beginning of this year. The Garde Répubblicaine is the French gendarmerie's branch whose task consists in protecting the most important political personalities.
I fear that they don't like their job, they hate protecting people they dislike, they are stressed and so full of doubts and regrets at such a point that all this cause a deep depression in them.
Honestly, I don't manage to feel bad sentiments towards them.
In a some way, they too are victims.

Of course they are. Their life is in danger.

usually the protesters are leftwing government employees.
This time the rebelling population is the same social group as the police and army, EXCEPT for the young 'casseurs' who are apolitical and often third or 4th gen immigrants.

Of course.
I believe that most policemen share the same sentiments as the gilets jaunes.
They know perfectly that the casseurs are immigrants african or muslim of third or fourth generation: young people who of French have only the passport, but who hate French people because of the Christian religion and their whiteness. In fact, policemen can't enter into a banlieu - a gentle way to say a no-go zone - without a military appropriate support.
France is going to a total chaos.
Many military of the French Armée are immigrants and unlikely they will act against casseurs, other immigrants, if ordered to do so. Their loyalty isn't towards French Republic, but towards their tribes.

I don't know. Its called Blazer Orange. Apparently deer and other such animals are colour blind to it and cannot detect its brightness - but we can hence why its used on hunts so as not to accidentally shoot each other. It'd be interesting if yellow-hi-vis can also be used on hunts?
Like I said in a previous post, I can wear the orange hi-vis without getting eye-floaters in my peripheral vision, but not yellow hi-vis - or at least the very brightest ones.
Most people happily wear yellow-hi-vis - so maybe it means my retinas are less ponerized

About fifteen years ago I had the opportunity to work with the Gendarmerie and the discomfort was already palpable: they were overwhelmed by administrative work, their hierarchy was constantly asking them for statistics and they had the impression that they had become "money pumps" with the radars. I think it has since gotten worse.

Perhaps one problem is that Macron is trying to run France, as if it was a Zombie nation. He is learning this is not yet the case. Here are a couple of excerpts from Session 6 August 2005 that might indicate just this state of affairs:
Q: (H) What percentage of the US population actually supports Bush?
A: 36%
Q: (H) What percentage of the US population thinks there was complicity on the part of the US government in 9/11?
A: 47%
Q: (H) What percentage of the US population actually thinks at all?
A: 12% if you define it rigidly. (group amazement at this figure)
A: What do you expect with HAARP turning brains to tapioca?
(Perceval) So it's a Zombie nation then?
A: You took the words right out of 6th density.
Q: (Perceval) so does HAARP only affect the US population?
A: Mostly.
Q: (Perceval) In terms of our group members, the only solution would be to get out of the US then? Is that true?
A: Or be aware and network.
Next compare the US numbers to those of France, and even if micro wave devices have become more common, evne though some people have passed over and more than 13 years have passed, the numbers given in 2005 might still explain something:
Q: (IR) What was the influence behind the French "No" vote?
A: Mostly free thinking.

Q: (Perceval) So what percentage of people in France can really think?
A: 59%

some believe that Act 6 of 22 December will be bloody in terms of human sacrifice, with a risk of spreading in Europe, the fall of the euro, the reunion of extreme ideologies to finally live under vegan-S-S occupation.
wait and see.

Just a small overview perhaps, and the roll of portable telecommunications device's.

France
Wireless communications in France are well developped. The country is fully covered with a GSM service and 3G mobile internet. The fourth generation of mobile communications or 4G is spreading rather fast as well.

Also Wi-Fi networks are pretty usual, you can find a free hotspot in most of public places, such as airports, hotels, libraries and restaurants. You can find a free Wi-Fi even in most of the parks of Paris. France uses GSM 900/1800, the so called European GSM standard and the most widely spread frequency for 3G is 2100 MHz.
free-coverage.jpg

As a conclusion we can say that France has built a decent mobile communications network and the prices revolution, started by a Free carrier will have the best results of French smartphone users.

I tried to see if anyone had mentioned the following in this thread already by searching for 2007, but nothing came up, so here it is with the first part being about the presidential election in France in 2007, the second part is about the danger that France was in and the reasons behind it, while the third part is about the intended political goal of the agencies active in the situation at the time.
Session 16 July 2007
[...]
Q: (Joe) Was there any election fraud in the 2007 French elections?
A: Of course!
Q: (Joe) Is there a percentage we can have of fraudulent or stolen votes?
A: Believe that the percentage is over 20 percent.
Q: (Joe) So 20%?
A: Yes.
Q: (Joe) That would suggest that only 30% of people voted for Sarkozy. (H) Did Segolene get more votes than Sarkozy?
A: Yes.
Q: (S) So that pretty much means that the feeling that Laura and I had that maybe Sarkozy wasn't quite so evil was probably fairly wrong?
A: Probably, but remember that Sarkozy is not in charge. He just doesn't fully realize it yet.
Q: (H) Will there be some sort of event that will sort of bring it home to him?
A: Most likely. There is a grave aura of danger spreading over France.
Q: (L) Danger from where?
A: Conflict is between those who want to put France in the bind and those who do not and know it will be like sparks in a powder keg.
Q: (L) Why would it be like sparks in a powder keg?
A: The French mentality: arrogance etc.
Q: (Joe) They're worried about another revolution. (L) And who is pressing to put France in the bind?
A: Your favorite Zionazis.

Q: (L) And who is against it?
A: Sarkozy among others. Though he is trying to appease in some ways.
Q: (H) Was Segolene more closely aligned with the Zionazis?
A: That is an interesting question: Let us just say she was picked to run to lose.
Q: (H) So is this Julien Dray character who is close to her one of the key players?
A: Indeed. Sarkozy thinks he can handle it, but he will find he has a tiger by the tail.
Q: (Joe) So essentially, both Sarko and Segolene were picked, and Segolene was picked because she would be a plausible loser, but the whole thing was rigged anyway so Sarko would win.
A: Good analysis. See? What do you need us for?
Q: (S) So they picked him because he's kind of the dupe. So he's kind of against the Zionists, but he's going to discover very soon that it doesn't matter because they put him in power and they're going to make him do whatever they want...
A: Not against, just thinks he is smarter.
Q: (H) So the supposed reconciliation with some of the socialists that Sarko is proposing is in fact a building of the Zionist front within the French government.
A: More or less.
Q: (Joe) Does putting the French "in the bind", was that code for a terror attack?
A: Not particularly, just recreating same conditions as in US and UK.
Q: (L) In other words, fascism. That's what the word fascism means: something bound together, like a bundle of sticks.
(H) So, uh, are there any good guys?
A: Most of them are dead.
Q: (sighs) (L) So in short, we're screwed!
A: You be the "good guys."
[...]
The point about "Your favorite Zionazis", might actually also relate back to the Session from 2005 I quoted in the earlier post about the thinking French, but did not include: From Session 6 August 2005 there was also this exchange:
Q: (IR) Why are the French putting so much energy into the Int. Thermo-Nuclear Experimental Reactor? Supposedly because we are going to be short of oil...
A: It keeps people busy and it keeps the Bush gang happy. You don't think France "buys" all that nonsense do you? It has to buy time and space to maneuver.
Q: (Perceval) So they are playing dumb in terms of the "end of the world"?
A: Dumb like a fox!
Q: (IR) So are there two groups, one in France and one in the US and they are not allies?
A: Not at present. But everyone has to consider that fun gang of stooges for Yahweh. They don't play nice.
And as far as "Your favorite" "fun gang" are concerned, that ("don't play nice") is still the case. The French Government is probably more owned now than back then, because since 2005 and 2007 there have been several events in France that have made the situation worse.

CHU, when opening this thread with a simply human story, perhaps I do not imagine in what it was going to become : In lessons of Economic Policy.
Most of the participants in this thread, pour out well-informed opinions with great coherence, as expert researchers interested in the real thing that happens in the world.

I do not think there is a forum that deals with political issues with so much depth like this, throwing arrows of intelligence to right and left.

Happy belated birthday Chu, Sagittarius sign, as Macron.

Here there are no know-it-alls, We are all learning, THANK YOU !!!

December 2, 2018 - Yellow Vests: downfall of ‘Jupiter’
Yellow Vests: downfall of ‘Jupiter’

The fumes of riots of Yellow Vests don’t distort the clarity of the picture – the working France could not bear any more the policy of successive governments pressing them as lemon to fund their ambitious European and international agenda. The plans of the President Macron to go global came in clash with local: the gasoline tax became the last straw that broke the back of many, especially “working poor“.

Following their ‘Jupiter’, or like French say it, ‘the elected King‘, French people had to continue to actively participate in footing the EU cohesion of Eastern Europe, flows of migrants and refugees, who have right to live in dignity, the aid to the other continents for their development, climate change, and many other noble causes in the world, sacrificing their own needs. Americans First!” gave them some eye opening ideas. Are French really responsible for all the grief in the world? Don’t they deserve to benefit from the advantages of technological revolution?

Doubtfully the EU aggressive foreign policy added a huge portion of combustible: the Enlargement shifting borders to the East came to its logical end in a Donbass conflict. The following war of sanctions with Russia had negative effects on French economy, although not direct, but long lasting, when the exports being replaced without reverse by the other countries like Turkey, Morocco, or Argentina. In spite of the shrinking agricultural exports, and related difficulties the President declared the increase of the 2019 defense budget by €1.7 billion – up five percent from the present year, the move made under pressure of the Pentagon hawks to meet NATO target military spending.

Detached from working France in his gilded office of the impératrice Josephine palace – Elysée in his rigid role of an ‘elected KingEmmanuel Macron looks archaic, like a relic of another epoch, next to the leaders of the other democracies in Europe, framed in their actions by national parliaments. The modernization of the Fifth Republic, shifting powers from President to Parliament could restore the coherence of French society, while conservation of the archaic forms of governance will continue to provoke the archaic forms of answers – insurrections.

However the uprising of the Yellow Vests is just the first act. The real tectonic shift in politics will take place in upcoming elections to European parliament: the downfall of ‘Jupiter’.

So, the president makes promises (in the wind, as allways). He can do it; as he signs today the UN pact at Marrakesh in order to bring millions foreigners from all Africa waiting at the Ceuta gate. He doesn't mind stoping his reforms for a very short time: these dangerous new type of migrants will bring violence and chaos in the country: people will fight with each other* and will not see that the responsible is Macaroni, not the migrants per se. Cf the "laser light for diversion" handled by M and Co.

* Also ancient migrants, nationalized ones and born in France ones, ie integrated foreigners will suffer: both from new migrants (they don't want them) and from french people because of amalgames that will ensue.
People will be angry because in one hand the State asks him more and more money, and in the other hand it will give money for migrants that never worked nor paid bills in France.
I wonder: where these millions foreigners will be accomodated? In our personnal houses?
This UN pact is awful.
