I completely agree with your reasoning here, and I really hope this does represent the big miscalculation. The thing is, psychopaths truly are blind to objective reality (or any reality other than their own), and they see people as things they can use to obtain what they want. There are videos showing how police infiltrated a crowd with their people. How provocateurs behave to provoke a response from the police. etc. Seeing is believing. So putting useful information in one place is a very good idea. Or perhaps send links through email or sms to people that could best be served with such information.

Not quite... It wouldn't be the same as having the whole network together. The French-speaking mods would spend a lot of time there, thus not being able to participate much in the main forum.
