Ear ringing / tinnitus posts and threads.

I have been hearing ringing and different tones in my ears for about 3 years now. Within the past year or so, I have noticed other things accompanying these tones. Sometimes for example, I'll feel a change in the pressure or atmosphere immediately as the tone begins. I've experienced a sudden "shift" on the left side of my body, one that feels like it descends quickly on me and then a sudden tone in my ear.

One other curious thing that I've noticed is that at night time when this happens, I'll often see what I call "glitches" out of the corner of my eye. Like a quick blink of something. At first, I thought my eyes were going bad, because I would see them very often. After a while, as soon as they would appear, I would back my vision out and try to get a 180 degree field of view, and "set" my eyes to pick up movement. I began seeing them blink in and out at random. Again, I thought there was something wrong with my eyes, until I noticed my dog also looking at the same exact areas where I saw the blinks. Often times, both of our heads will turn in unison as we catch glimpses of something, all while my ears ringing.

My diet is great, and the addition of my dog's attention to the matter makes me believe there is certainly a "supernatural" component to this case.

I still have tinnitus. Tried homeopathy but it did not change anything at all. It is specially during night, in silence, that I hear this sound, specially in my right ear. Sometimes the sound change, move or another sound come and go. I have an appointment to the specialist next month (one year waiting for it) and I know he will tell me that "you can not cure tinnitus". When another sound comes is usually during day, like a new frequency. Very strange but I really don't know, I never had tinnitus before in my life. So maybe it is normal to hear various "notes" of your tinnitus.

I don't know if it is tinnitus, but in silence or quiet environments I can notice this high pitched (almost inaudible) sound "in my head". It's always been there and I read it's normal, but it has been more noticeable.

My hearing is above average as I usually get a yearly physical which involves the hearing test, so it's not damage.

I'm speculating, but it makes me wonder about the wave coming- or the frequencies of the earth changing?

I get the same. Although at times it becomes very noticeable while in bed. At one point I strongly suspected it had something to do with the cell phone mast that is close to my house (and in direct line of sight), so I purchased one of these for sleeping _http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HF-LF-Shielding-headgear-from-Silver-Elastic-TKE-Electrosmog-/181638698061?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item2a4a82944d

Come to think of it, it hasn't been 'very noticable' in a while. I also tested it by wrapping the headband around my smartphone and the 3G signal went from 5 to 1 bars.

Anecdotal Information: I, too, had been experiencing Tinnitus — sometimes quite loud and annoying — for several years.

In 2012, one of my housemates who practices acupuncture told me he was doing a kidney cleanse. For no particular reason, that sounded like a really good idea to me as well. So I decided to do one for myself.

He and I discussed how I was feeling afterwards. I told him that one of the things I noticed was that my ears were no longer ringing. He said, “Of course. The kidneys and the ears are connected via meridian points. So whatever concerns the kidneys will also affect the ears.”

I thought that was rather odd, but it’s been 2 years now and I’ve only experienced some minor ringing once since doing that kidney cleanse.

So — just in case your tinnitus has a physical cause (as opposed to a meta-physical cause), you might like to experiment with doing a kidney cleanse to see if the ear-ringing ceases.

Kidney Cleanse Recipe

You can use either Parsley or Cilantro. Some people don’t like the taste of cilantro (it tastes like soap to their taste buds). Not to worry. Either parsley or cilantro works equally well. Since I like both, I made a batch of each and alternated.

1 bunch either Cilantro or Parsley — wash & cut into small enough pieces to fit into a 2 quart saucepan.

Fill pan with good water and bring to a boil.

Boil for 20 minutes.

Let cool.

Pour out water into glass containers. Strain out the parsley or cilantro bits and throw those away.

Drink one 8oz cup first thing in the morning for as many mornings as the liquid lasts.

And it’s that simple.

Hope this is helpful to others — whether to alleviate tinnitus or just as a good kidney cleanse in general.

Thanks for your receipt. I will try it. I hate to hear always this sound in my right ear, specially when I read at night. I can not anymore hear the silence!

Thanks so much! I am going to try this. I have had ringing in my ears for almost 18 years now, and it it is mildly annoying, and I think it interferes with my hearing.

Aloha Rhiannon --

Good luck. I hope the Kidney Cleanse works as well for you as it did for me. I had no idea the cleanse would work to alleviate my tinnitus -- because I had no idea there was any connection between the kidneys and the ears. That was an unexpected bonus.

You can find many websites promoting various recipes and supplements for cleansing the kidneys -- all of them much more complicated and expensive and time-consuming and requiring days of fasting. All fine & good information I'm sure. However, if I can achieve the results I want using less complicated methods, I prefer to start with that first. If that doesn't work, I'll move on to more complex recipes and protocols.

I think I didn't even do the cleanse properly. I was supposed to drink the parsley/cilantro water throughout the day & not eat at all. Instead I spaced the liquid over 3-4 days -- drinking only one cup per day first thing in the morning.

I usually go with my own body's advice. She seems to know best what works for her. And my past experience shows that every time I attempt to over-ride her input, the consequences work against us both. The body has amazing wisdom in certain circumstances. Mostly, she just appreciates my paying attention to her -- like a little child actually. So if she's whining and fidgety and pulling on my apron strings, I just stop whatever I'm doing and give her some un-divided attention and she seems to calm right down and let me get on with the rest of my life. If I support her, she supports me.

I've learned that there's conscious rational mind logic -- and then there's sub-conscious body mind logic. They're very different logics. But if there's a conflict between the two, the body mind logic always wins every time. So there's no point in going against it. It's better to take it into account and work with it rather than against it.

Of course, since it's more of a "child" consciousness, I can't simply indulge her every whim. Not at all. Just as with a real child, there's a certain amount of discipline required. But I can reason with her the same as I would reason with a very young child in order to inspire the child to want to do what's in her best interests. Which eliminates the need to use force or strong-arm tactics. Using "force" in order to "force" her to go against her own inclinations mostly backfires and causes trouble which I then have to straighten out later. There's no point in arguing with a child. Just makes the child more willful, obstinate and refuse to change.

Carol K. Anthony wrote a book called "A Guide to the I Ching" -- which I personally find much more helpful than all the other I-Ching books I've read. In the hexagrams, she basically gives many approaches to dealing with all the little "i" voices ranting and demanding attention. I found her approach seems to compliment Gurdjieff's guide to dealing with our myriad "i's" -- and I've been using her guide as a self-discipline method since 1995.

Sorry -- I've gone a bit off-topic here. Back to the kidney cleanse. I do hope the cleanse works for you, Rhiannon -- and for anyone else who may want to experiment with it.

Cheers!

Edited for grammar correction.

Hello Loreta,
I was chasing up notes about parasites, and I came across this posting and the observation from 13 Twirling Triskeles about the Parsley/Cilantro.
So, did you try it, and do you still have the ear-ringing.

I have an interest in this since I have suffered from tinnitus for the last seven years.
I'm going to give it a go, anyway, seeing as it is simple, and benign.

I have read an observation from Dr. Hulda Clark that parsley water is good to give to cats to help them eliminate their parasites.

For now I still have tinnitus. :( I will try another trial. It seems to me incredible that we can go to Mars and we can not cure Tinnitus. I went to see the specialist, I passed tests but the specialist did not even take his time to see my ear, inside I mean, he was just sit in front of the computer, told me that surely my tinnitus will become worse with time. He was so indifferent but they are all indifferent, the doctors, like kings in front of their machines and thinking that we are imbeciles. Tried also homeopathy but it did not work.

I have to read more about tinnitus. Surely Sott.net has some articles.

So I will try again today. I am going now out to buy Parsley or Cilantro and I will start again!

Thank you Casper.
It looks like they are all B Group vitamins (Thiamine, Niacin and B12)
I'll give it a go.

Thank you casper! I have Ginko biloba at home, I will give a try. Also maybe I need to take more magnesium, I am sure of that. I will also give a try.

I, too, have tinnitus. It is in my right ear only and as others have mentioned, I notice change of tones and loudness at various times. I've often joked, "Wait a minute! I'm getting a message!" when the tone would change.

I have had this for about 15 years. I cannot trace this to any physical trauma. I do seem to remember that it started sometime after I had been doing one of the Robert Monroe hemi sync tapes.

I have tried gingko biloba which didn't help. So I am going to give the kidney cleanse a try and will report the outcome.

I don't have tinnitus. My hearing is actually too good. (I say this as I've over heard things I wish I didn't, which caused resentment that I'd rather not be aware of.)

I take the ear ringing very seriously when it happens. To me, left ear, negative, right ear, positive. I'll expound:

A week or so ago, I was standing on a bus gazing at my smartphone, like the isolated little tech island that I've become and then experienced a left ear ring/tone. I looked around the bus and a man was standing a few meters from me, scowling directly at me with the most hateful gaze, when I looked at him, it was as if he was anticipating and waiting for eye contact. I was aware of him before even looking to see who or where he was. It was a disturbing experience, but I wasn't afraid of him. I just looked blankly at him and then went back to my smart phone tappings.

I wouldn't dismiss this as just diet. Not at all.

Right ear rings happen and occur. I've attributed them to positive thoughts or feelings about me. I haven't had any coincidences/syncs to suggest they are positive but usually when they happen i get a warm feeling of comfort in my heart.

Thanks for reading.
