Earth Changes and the Human-Cosmic Connection

I'd just like to thank everyone for sharing their experience in the creation of this book. With Pierre and those who helped in editing and MK Scarlett recounting her delightful experience creating the art work, i always feel like i learn a little something. After all a book is a huge undertaking. Perhaps it's just me (nosy!) or that i just like to know how things come about, but i really appreciate these exchanges.

The artwork is beautiful MK Scarlett :) - also, i really like the font.

Big Thanks to Pierre and Laura! And congratulations on the ranks!

My hardcopy will arrive tomorrow or the day after, and am very much looking forward to it. And I think you did an excellent job on the cover MK Scarlett, very eye-catching. Once we (Dutch team) have translated the book description, I was wondering if you could incorperate that in your poster/flyer? I was going to distribute some English and Dutch flyers around. Maybe we could all do something like that (in shops, supermarkets etc.) where it is allowed to put up flyers. It surely would be another great way to spread the word around!

Well, because I have the opportunity to say it, I've got some supports of sale and wallpaper to spread out the news on any kind of Website, so, if Pierre is agree, I would let them here and they could be used by anyone who want and is able to share on its own Website or Facebook page for example.

Yes, please share them.

OK, thank you for the answer Pierre.
So, hereafter four files attached:

- Two wallpapers of the illustration without or with titles (titres in the name of the picture). The size is about 1920x1200 pixels.
- One kind of banner of the illustration with titles (Bandeau in the name of the picture). The size is about 1920x611 pixels. I used it on my Facebook page cover.
- One kind of movie poster. The size is about 886x1218 pixels.

I will join other ones in a next post due to the weight of the files attached. They will be about the entire cover book instead than the previous ones which are about the illustration itself.
Enjoy and spread out the news!

It would be a great idea, indeed! If Spanish and German teams want to get the files on their own languages, let's go! You would just have to send me the text, and I will work on it to give the opportunity to the four languages used on Sot to get the informations. ;)

I've got some very heavy ones and I will not be able to share them here on the forum, but I can think to another solution, with an external link to upload them. What do you think guys?

[..]I just want to add that I was very pleased when Pierre asked to create the cover book to me. I even was a kind of amazed... What! Me? (But why me?) And then... Sure!!!

Just because I often think that my abilities are useless, and I had to fight against the fear I had deeply in me, to let creation takes the place. Pierre helped me to go through this by giving me the chance to believe in me more than I usually do. You know, because it was my first "order" for a creation of cover book, I was amazed that Pierre would like me to do the cover of his book.

I had created (photomanipulations) nothing on Photoshop for several years and I also was afraid to have lost my "technical". And here came my husband with his expertise on the matter. Each time I had a problem, I could ask and I get an answer which gave me the opportunity to do it by myself.

I had some issues with my old graphics tablet which did not work anymore while I was starting to work on the illustration. So I continued without it and used my mouse. But, doing some stuff of creation on Photoshop without graphics tablet is a bit more complicated, especially when you used to work with it. I started to be stressed as I was frightened to not be able to do what I had in mind. Some days after, my husband said: "OK! We gonna buy a new graphics tablet to you, and you will be free to create without think about how to do your cover book without it". And then, when the new one arrived, it was like if all ideas which I had been in my mind, could find a way to create the illustration.

[..]

Amazing job! Title font has very nice separation from the background, good idea with the shadows. "The Secret History.." is a beautiful font selection. Excellent artistic separation at the authors name section.

The central cover image is a joy to look at, beautiful, clean piece of art. Every element is easily recognizable and visually understandable. Nice painting job on the statue and buildings and sand: looks like you enjoyed doing it, which matters most. The central area colors and shapes [I think] communicate a grand and uplifting look on the cosmos, even with the cometary dangers depicted the image promises hope for a wonderful new life beginning.

Your work has the feel of an art piece to be admired on a shelf, and also radiates a distinct "fine china porcelain"-feel, that is awesome sight to behold, no matter how many times man looks on it:

So this book deserves to be bought just for the beautiful cover to be prominently displayed on a shelf and it will serve as fine portfolio for you!

We just got our Amazon copy today, but I will get in line for a signed RPP one too :)

Thank you so much Pierre, and thank you MK Scarlett for the artwork :perfect:

The cover of the book is extremely beautiful, clear, limpid, a little Science Fiction vision of this reality. Everything is there and it gives a sort of futuristic point of vue of what will happen. The colors are not aggressive, and there is an gentle harmony in all the picture. It is also very elegant. Congratulations MK Scarlett.

Can we get an idea of how many people plan to buy the hard copy of Pierre's books and if you would like to wait a while and get it at a discount from one of our sites?

I will wait & buy the hard copy too. :)

Just chiming in Pierre, to say that I'm really enjoying your book (the electronic version), your easy going writing style, and how you have adapted it for laypersons such as myself. The information is fascinating and simple (an electrical plasma picture) at the same time, not to mention the knitting together of a human cosmic connection - a must read!

Merci!

Question about the kindle version:

Did you manage to put in big pictures, especially graphs and your illustrations this time? Occupying big areas of the page space? Or the kindle book-code doesn't support big pictures so even if you specify like 800x600 pixels most pictures are truncated to about 300x200?

Horns of Moses Kindle had so little pictures, about 2x2" I had to google them - famous paintings mainly and especially exciting maps "The Middle East in 1400 BCE."- to see what they are about.

Congratulations Pierre for 'the layman's version' of what would otherwise be a very technical book. Kudos to you MK Scarlett for the perfect cover and to all of the 'supporting cast' in the chateau, this is the epitomy of what we are all striving for, good cohesive networking team work. A great effort from all :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

I'm about to purchase the kindle edition for an instant read, but I would like to be on the list for a signed hard copy too. Though I will have a different shipping address for this book.

Yes, the ebook version has high definition color images embedded, identical to those in the paper version (up to 1600 pixels in width). How the images are displayed (the apparent quality on the screen) depends on your ebook reader (Kindle model, tablet, smartphone, PC, etc.). The traditional Kindle has a screen resolution of only 600x800 pixel grayscale, and it scales the images so that the width fits. Most ebook readers have an image zoom function to see more details.
