I'm so glad that the sell of the book be so encouraging!

I just want to add that I was very pleased when Pierre asked to create the cover book to me. I even was a kind of amazed... What! Me? (But why me?) And then... Sure!!!

Just because I often think that my abilities are useless, and I had to fight against the fear I had deeply in me, to let creation takes the place. Pierre helped me to go through this by giving me the chance to believe in me more than I usually do. You know, because it was my first "order" for a creation of cover book, I was amazed that Pierre would like me to do the cover of his book.

As soon as I saw the very first cover versions, I was pretty sure the result would be great. I'm not an expert but when I look at the cover it seems to me like a very good professional work. Frankly, I think that a lot of professional book covers are not even half as good as this one.

The cover is a very important part of the book because it summarizes the whole spirit of the book in one single picture and it also has a strong influence on the purchase decision.

Thank you so much for the link, it is really interesting to read all the points of view. I have to confess that even if the most of the books I bought these last three years were recommended books here and there, I often have chosen a book from its cover. Because of the very same reason you mentionned above in the bold above. And this what something we learn at school of graphism when I went back to school 7 years ago... Meaning we can learn any ages! :lkj:

I had created (photomanipulations) nothing on Photoshop for several years and I also was afraid to have lost my "technical". And here came my husband with his expertise on the matter. Each time I had a problem, I could ask and I get an answer which gave me the opportunity to do it by myself.

I had some issues with my old graphics tablet which did not work anymore while I was starting to work on the illustration. So I continued without it and used my mouse. But, doing some stuff of creation on Photoshop without graphics tablet is a bit more complicated, especially when you used to work with it. I started to be stressed as I was frightened to not be able to do what I had in mind. Some days after, my husband said: "OK! We gonna buy a new graphics tablet to you, and you will be free to create without think about how to do your cover book without it". And then, when the new one arrived, it was like if all ideas which I had been in my mind, could find a way to create the illustration.

I had so much pleasure to work with Pierre on this project... Pierre, you're so much patient and comprehensive that I would do it again without batting an eyelid!

I took time to write this because, even if I do not feel at ease to talk about this project or that one or such ones, or cry out that I'm doing this or that, it makes me feel good to talk about it a little... after. When the thread was created by Laura, I was so happy but not able to write about my experience on it, because I had the impression to take a place which is not mine.
Thank you Pierre for encouraging me to do it. ;)

I guess we have to find a right balance between hiding and boasting. You created a very nice cover as mentioned by several people. That's the truth and it's legitimate that it gets acknowledged. And, who knows, maybe some other writers will want a cover as nice as the one you just created.

I have to work on find a right balance between hiding and broadsting, and I start now! :)
And it would be a very good thing for the whole group if others writers were interested in such creation of cover book. :cool2:

This fabulous journey that was given to me as a present takes place now in the reality with the book ready to be bought and read by you all, and I hope by more people around! When I finished to read the first manuscript (to get some creative ideas and what was all about), the first thing I told to Pierre was:
"Wow! Thank you so much for having write this book, I dreamed about it, and you did it! You connected the dots, you approached many subjects to get a larger picture of the whole."
This is the case, this book is a big must read and essential to figure out what is happening about many things around the Big Blue Marble.

I now have to read the entire book again, because some changes came between my first reading and the last version and I also am pleased that the cover book be appreciated here and there, thank you for the support!

There's been many improvements since the version you read and a lot of relevant material and illustrations have been added. So, yeah, it might be worth reading the final version.

I will order it as soon as it is available on Red Pill Press or QFG books, because I'd like to get a dedication from Laura and you... :guru:

Pierre already knows it, but I thank you again for having give to me this fabulous opportunity of creative journey. :hug2:

Actually you're the one who proposed this very good idea that is the cover now, you also agreed with the numerous changes I suggested. Sometimes, 'artists' can be a bit stubborn and tend to stick to their own ideas. This was not the case at all and I really appreciated to be heard.

So, when both parties are happy with the way a project unfolds and the results it brings, I guess it can be called a fruitful cooperation. :)

It is!

And a big warm thank you all for the support by the way. :)

I'm 10 chapters in, so can't comment on a whole lot, but this book is fantastic. Also the cover is freakin' awesome! Well done to everybody.

I've never really had the time or motivation to really delve into EU theory and understand it, and it's only now that I realise how much I've been missing. You did a 'stellar' job at forging all this info into a very concise, understandable, and interesting format, Pierre :).

What really strikes me is just how elegant and simple the electric theory is, and how the traditional model of the universe seems barbaric, childish and terribly barren (both intellectually and spiritually) in comparison. Can't wait to keep reading.

Well, I have to say that I think MK Scarlett did an AWESOME job on the cover.

I am historically very, very picky about what a book cover should look like. What images do you use to convey what the book is about without turning people off? The simple fact of the matter is that people do judge a book by its cover, so the cover must be something that speaks to other people - not to me or to us. Easier said than done, of course!

In this case, I really can't see how it could have been improved. I guess I can retire now!

Well, I guess - it's my turn :P - that I was very, very influenced by all the readings here on the forum, there with books, elsewhere with articles or documentaries, and I think it is the point. Because it is "easier" to create a cover book by knowing what is all about inside it. That's why even before to start to work on the cover, I took three days to read the entire manuscript. It is the same thing for translations: Better one knows the subject, better the translation will be.

To be honest, and after have thinking of it for several days (by waiting the out of the Pierre's book) I am pretty sure I already had a kind of this picture in mind, BEFORE I started to work on it or even I heard about it for the first time.

I have the tendancy to create a visualization in my head from something I am reading. It is like a "program", and maybe there is something else: I'm a totally fan of the movie The Day after Tomorrow (Imagine my gladdy surprise when I discovered Sott for the first time and saw one Laura's article with the same title!); I've seen the movie many, many times, and I show it again and again. So I knew all the illustrations of the movie and I am pretty sure, that, somewhere, I WANTED to create an illustration like this one (I told that to my husband three or four days ago). But I wanted to create something with colors instead that this monochrome blue on the illustrations of the movie. Firstly, because I did not want at all to seem to be just copying the movie illustration, and secondly, it HAD to have hope in the illustration of the book, and colors give this.

So, my question could be: Is the Universe gave me the opportunity to really CREATE this illustration/cover? :flowers:

Can we get an idea of how many people plan to buy the hard copy of Pierre's books and if you would like to wait a while and get it at a discount from one of our sites?

My mom and I were planning on splitting the cost and getting one book for the house. If there is a discount we'll probably get our own.

Please put us down for 2 hard copies.

Great job Pierre, Laura and MK Scarlett and crew involved with this endeavor. Looking forward to reading "Earth Changes and the Human-Cosmic Connection. I read the article on FB and shared, but I will keep sharing. Looking forward to reading your book, Pierre! Congratulations!!!! :D

Totally agree with you Mr. Scott.

She did an amazing job and everytnig is summarize in the cover. :perfect:

Really looking forward to this one! I always look forward to books from Cass members. They just go well beyond other books available on the subjects they cover. My copy from amazon should arrive Friday, but I'll also buy another one from RPP when it is available. I like the cover, yet for me I like to have the book in hand to really appreciate it. Great job Pierre! :)

I finished reading it today. It's a really great book!! And I agree, the cover is great too. Congrats to everyone who worked on it - what an amazing achievement!

I got the book on Tuesday and finished it last night! It was so good I could not stop reading. So much complex information was presented in such an understandable way that I think just about anyone could really grasp it. Thanks Pierre and Laura for another great book.

I have started reading the Kindle version, and I am very impressed! Excellent work Pierre, and also great thanks to your team that supported you. I liked the cover art very much too, Mk Scarlett.

So if a hard copy becomes available on RPP like the others have said, I would also like to get an autographed copy if possible.

So far the count for wanted hard copies is at roughly #37.

I too agree that the cover is just fantastic. Kudos to MK Scarlett for her creativity AND willingness to hear Pierre out when it came to modifications. :D

Facebook is 'alive' with advertisements! :cheer:

Thanks for making this count. :)

Amazon has been dropping ECHCC price days after days. It was initially $59 but now it's only $31 (because of good sales volume). This means that we (PR, RPP) won't be able to sell hard copies for a price lower than that.

So if any of you wants to buy a copy for the lowest price, the best solution is to go to Amazon soon (before the price rises again after the novelty effect is gone).

You can still buy directly from us but we won't match Amazon prices (we would loose money).

We will still handle the sale of signed hard copies though (for a price that will be higher than what Amazon proposes).

In any case, we will share the link for direct purchase of ECHCC from us as soon as we get the copies and then you can decide from what source you want to buy.
