Earthquakes around the world

A quick update from Zagreb, Croatia.
Well it seems that ground isn't settled yet. We get 2-3 aftershocks daily, although not over 2.5R.
City center are mostly cleared of debris and all damaged chimneys and roofs are cleared as well. However due to damaged chimneys, most of the residents there are without heating and warm water. To get things even worse, under new regulations you can't use old fashioned atmospheric gas heaters, rather you have to build new "energy-efficient" condensation gas heaters, which means complete replacement of existing chimneys to comply with new rules. People simply can't afford it and the city administration looks like a headless chicken, basically sweeping the streets and doing nothing else.
Since I was aware of the fact that I'm living in the earthquake-prone area, few years ago I've insured my flat. So few extra bucks now are coming handy. Damage is minimal, nothing that I couldn't repair on my own. However there are some cracks on stairways and one outer wall that are raising concerns, especially for possible future shaking. My girls still don't want to sleep in their rooms, which is understandable since they have rooms on the reconstructed attic. For now they all are sleeping in the living room, which is a level lower. I've made some bugout bags, and placed them in my car if needed. I have to admit that I'm not so sure that this will end up as it is. Hope I'm wrong.
