Éiriú-Eolas - Breathing Program

The idea is that ba-ha done too often can release more hidden emotions and trauma than you are able to process smoothly. You want to get all that stuff out, but not at a pace that disrupts your life. By keeping the twice a week schedule, you will have time to examine the things that come up for you, journal about them etc. I almost wonder if keeping a steady rhythm of deep work and then backing off sends a subtle message to your unconscious which will match it with controlled releases of information. Pretty cool. :)

Could there any harm for me to listen to the prayer of the soul nonstop at work? Other people would not be able to hear it.

Ideally we want to hear the words of POTS and meditate on their meaning, but, there is something to be said for the potential that hearing Laura's voice has to help raise one's FRV. So I do not think any harm can come it, but rather, it may have cumulative positive effects.

I agree with that and also see no harm in it and as long you do not cause any trouble to your regular work or may harm yourself i.e. working with a dangerous machine or tools for example.

Just a bunch of paperwork and a computer. I'm lucky that I can shut the door and have no one bother me in my office.

I also agree and often do it myself when I feel I need it: putting my mp3 player on repeat and having the Prayer play nonstop throughout the night on low volume, which makes for waking up well-rested and energized.

Hi guys, should the each phrase of the Prayer which Laura speaking be silently repeated or should we just concentrate on the breathing? I repeat each phrase silently combining it with the feeling of gratitude.

I think somebody said once that we can expand/think of the whole meaning of each phrase. In my case, sometimes I repeat them silently or concentrate on the breathing, others I am thinking too much about many things or just zone out.

Yes, you should focus on the words, either following Lauras voice or repeating it silently for yourself for example. The main thing with the prayer is, that your mind is focused on something and here on the prayer, that's the reason why it is called meditation with seed as opposed to many other mediations which try to "free" their minds.

I have put POTS on my iPod and am starting to listen to it on breaks in the hectic day. It is rather calming, and gives my mind something to focus on. "Mediation with seed" is truly what it is. I must really do it more often.

Just to add, for me anyway, following Laura's voice has the added quality of offering and matching the particular rhythmic cadence, which seems to help one sync with the breathe and words without wandering.

hello:

I just want to toss this question, I've been doing my breathing program for sometime now, but there are some things that I been noticing lately.

well the first one I think it is because I'm too relaxed that I fall asleep every time I do the prayer of the soul... then. next morning when I wake up, i feel like I've been beaten up and some times i feel very moody.
so, is this something " normal " or am I missing something?

any help will be appreciated...... :)

It could be some form of detoxing and the deep breathing is helping to facilitate it? How is your diet in general? Have you had a chance to read some of the threads in the Diet and Health section, in particular the Ketogenic Diet?

Also, this link might answer a lot of your questions regarding what comes up during and after the meditation. Eiriu-Eolas - Guide/FAQ

Hi Xico,
When you say beat up, do you mean physical body pain or just feeling an emotion like battered, defeated, or exhausted?
