Éiriú-Eolas - Breathing Program

opossum, I agree with what Alana has written. Our body is very wise. It knows what and how much we can take. That is the power of EE. It is getting ourselves in touch with that higher part of ourselves that knows what is best for us. As you do more and more EE, you’ll learn to trust it because you’ll see how it works in action.

Keep going at it. You’ll not regret it. :)

Agree, EE is pretty practical way of expelling all "garbage" from our body and mind, just need to give it some time, working the best in combination with detox and anti candida diet.

I did a partial program last night. It had been a couple of weeks since the last time. I did the 3-stage, one set of round breathing, then the meditation. It was good. During the meditation I did feel (what seemed to be) some higher-level stuff. I am a pretty visually-oriented person, so a lot of these experiences for me have a visual/imagery element to them. So what I saw was a bubble from within me expanding outward and upward towards my head. On top was a smaller bubble that started to encompass my head. Simultaneously I felt very peaceful, and more in tune with myself. Throughout the day today I definitely felt it; I was more upbeat and almost without anxiety.

And on top of that, I was greeted by a BEAUTIFUL and BRIGHT sunny day when I walked to my car this morning! I couldn't count a single cloud in the sky. :)

Hi all,

I just got done doing the whole EE program and it went pretty well :D. Well when I was doing the 3-stage breathing, strong cloudy lights of purple and white took over my darkness, the lights seemed to have a pattern to them. I started to do the BAHA portion and got tried so I layed down and did it (I have a question for the EE teachers is it fine to do the BAHA portion laying down?) When I was doing the BAHA part I felt a electric vibration in certain parts of my body. In the meditation part I had a two emotional releases. The purple and white lights came back again when I was meditating but even stronger, it was like I was in a light show :wizard:. So today was a new day of new experiences with the EE program for me.

Yes, there is nothing wrong with laying down to do the Baha portion of the breathing. As a matter of fact, some people do most of the program laying down. Whatever is comfortable for you is the right way. :)

Yes, I just want to second this. I do this as well.

Third here. Starting with Beatha, its all laying down.
Ido only the 3 stage breath and warrior breath seated.

That's exactly the way I've been doing EE for last several months.
As stressed on multiple occasions, it's important to be comfortable, be in touch with your body, no need to insist on specific body posture (even if it's just sitting).

Been having an easier time with EE lately. Doing it regularly at night before bed with some pipe breathing exercises before hand.
Sometimes thoughts get into the prayer and I just pick up were I left off. Doing some extra rounds of the prayer. Will be incorporating Ba ha very soon. Slowly finding my way back :)

It has taken me a long time to get back here--I am sure it is my "do it prefect or not at all" program kicking in. But, I have made some progress and here is my report:

I have be doing the POTS portion religiously (pun intended:)) almost every night since last October. Sometimes I fall asleep before I can get all the way through--I don't remember what it is like to fall asleep without Laura's soothing voice.

I have been on and off with the rest of the program--I would get it all in for a couple of weeks and then slide back to doing just the POTS for a bit.

Lately what seems to work best is doing the pipe-breathing, warrior's breath, and one round of the POTS in the morning before I get out of bed, and the BA-HA and full POTS at night. The yoga stretches I work in now and then when my body demands it. I used to do yoga daily years ago and I want to feel that response and well being again. Being more disciplined with doing the regular stretching is the next behavior issue to tackle. It feels so good to do it that once I get in the habit of it again, I know I can maintain it.

I find the pipe-breathing very relaxing. I have noticed that many times when I am inhaling, the expansion of my lungs will produce gentle adjustments of my spine from pressing on it from the inside out--it feels very good. With my eyes closed, I have seen some intense bright colored geometric images in repetitious patterns like Escher prints floating by now and then when I am doing the breathing regularly every day.

The warrior's breath is useful to do during the day while working at a desk to wake-up and oxygenate myself.

I have not had intense emotional releases yet from the BA-HA breathing, but I envision the "bad" stuff leaving as I exhale and feel like I have had a work out when I am finished. I have done a lot of emotion release work in the past with a variety of modalities and think this may have taken the pressing edge off, but I suspect there is some deeply buried stuff that will surface with time.

EE breathing is a wonderful program that I talk up to others and direct them to the EE web site to check it out. I would like to have the training to teach it sometime—maybe by Fall when I can “walk the walk” a little more steadier. Good Luck to all!

Thank you for saying that for me shellycheval. And, THANK YOU EE team for sending me my copy of the POTS! I got it in my mailbox today. I already know it but the written copy is very beautiful and a good reminder on my deskboard (and I like Laura's signing.)

I planned to do the breathing program last night and realized it was on my old computer. I got out the computer and the monitor didn't work so I found a monitor and hooked it up and was too tired but watched the video and did some pipe-breathing. Just watching the video was very relaxing and comforting. The music is beautiful. I noticed as I was falling asleep that I was breathing deeply and naturally without trying. I slept extremely well and woke up 3 hours later than usual feeling very rested and calm. I will try again tonight since I will be home early. I now see that doing even a part of the program is better than not at all.

My update for the EE program for the last 2 weeks. For the first time after continuously and consciously doing EE before sleep, I started feeling much more positive and feeling that I can control the attacks in the sleep. Unfortunately I lost the flow during last 2 or 3 days, But I am hopeful to come back to it. I also started modifying what I want to release ( self destructive narcissistic patterns, blockages back of the neck, narcissistic fears etc.) during 'Ha' of the round breathing, This has profound healing effect. Same thing with "Clean my eyes and Clean my ears" portion in POTS. I still had issues in prioritizing what I want to do in the limited available time and issues in focusing and intense emotional pain in constantly watching my self in the process. still Body twitches and turns and emotion center goes into negative introject mode and so I am some what frustrated with this emotional reactions to watch my self. Repeated Healing tears during Pipe breathing is helping , but frustrating to see I continue to get blockages, fears, stresses and confusion of what to do what not to do , what is right or wrong.

For the preceding week my experiences of the E-E breathing meditation programme are similar to last week, wet eyes whilst listening to Laura during the three-stage breathing, as well as with PotS. And, as last week, each night, when I get up to go to the bathroom during the night I have wet eyes. This is more evidence of the progress of change that is happening at a deep level.

Mind-bodywise, I stubbed a toe on a doorstep, causing it to cut the skin and to bleed. According to Louise Hay in You Can Heal Your Life,
Toes - Represent the minor details of the future.
Cuts - Punishment for not following your own rules.
Injuries – Anger at self. Feeling guilty.
Wounds – Anger and guilt at the self.

I need to think about what I was ‘thinking’, my predominant thoughts, just before I stubbed my toe.

Thank you for the answers and it makes doing the EE program so much easier now. :)

Update: Yesterday I did the EE program and had the usual experiences, but didn't have any emotional releases. I still haven't zoned out, guess I just have to be patient with it. Something weird also happened when I was meditating, at first it felt like I was going to have a emotional release(also I was awake and aware). But instead of that it felt like something came out of me and my eyes slapped opened, as if I was shocked or scared and I saw a outline of a person in a black shirt when I opened my eyes but the image went away rather quickly. I didn't have my contacts on and the image was blurry but I could make out the image. Its probably my mind but just thought I would mention it . I have to say I was kinda scared and couldn't focus on meditating any more after that.
