"Enjoying The Show" As The World Burns

It can be said that we are in the middle of WWIII, so perhaps a stiff-upper-lip attitude is somewhat in order. We can't really expect nice conditions, it's just a show but we better be paying attention. If we experience the momentary joy of seeing some silver lining, we do not need to beat ourselves up but know that the show is not over yet. Castaneda said the true art of a warrior is balancing terror with wonder. As bad as things are they contrast even more with what many people can envision as what could be, and even what ought to be. A small lesson: I remember going through basic training, I knew things were not going to be fun for a while, but I had landed myself in the position I was in, so there was nothing to do except adapt and have a stoic attitude. It turns out I had a great time learning, at times - even in basic.

Doesn't saying that free will was 'violated' imply that free will is not being respected?
Yes. Without splitting hairs, I'd say that for the most part, they're the same thing. E.g.
Q: (Ryu) SRT question: Will we / can we become able to actually cure disease with the SRT sessions?
A: Close as long as it respects free will.
I'm not talking about well-defined or not-defined profiles, just profiles. And I think 'karma' as most define it, i.e. "punishment" is subjective. There is no 'karma' in that sense. It's just the result of interactions with other beings of different natures or 'profiles'.
Ok, I agree with that. And the only reason I used the word punishment is because the C's did. I still think there's something to the idea though, but the "punishment" is subjective in the sense that it is self-imposed (in 5D, presumably). Just like we "punish" ourselves when we feel excessively guilty about something as a way to expunge the guilt. We set ourselves up to suffer until we learn to break the cycle.
If it's the case that "free will is violated all the time" then it would be better to just call it the experience of reality of human beings on planet earth.
Tomayto, tomahto? Ok. I'd say it's better to call "free will violation" a very important aspect of what it is to experience life on earth - and one that helps us understand the nature of that reality.

Maybe this phrase possible meaning [sit back and enjoy the show] is to not to take things personally? Many things will be happening but probably on many of those things we will not have any influence.
So instead engaging feelings and thoughts into things beyond our control it would be better to "sit back and enjoy the show"?

Anyway what I try to do while the show is going on and world stage is getting hotter, tenser, more brutal and ugly:

1. Try to concentrate on my area: work on self to be a better man, husband, father, friend, neighbor, colleague.
2. Respond to concrete situations not looking for anticipated fantasies.
3. Try to work in directions that I found to be good and try not to disperse my energy.
4. Try pray and help for/to those that ask

10 years ago I tend to enjoy thinking much more about world politics and situation. Now I think like that: my politics is to find ways to connect with those I love when they understand differently, have different will, or opposite beliefs.
Hopefully to serve those I am responsible for.

This thread is of course excellent. It puts into perspective all the teaching that comes from the study of the human condition and the potential for elevating our first essence (soul). For some time now, I've been telling myself that every day is an honorable day to die. The Palestinian martyrdom is not in vain. This great epic of suffering brings us closer, if we wish, to the Christic spirit, the sacrifice of the body for the glory of the soul.

Personally the most graphic things I have seen were captured on the smartphone cameras of Palestinians themselves, and presumably freely uploaded by them. News cameras and their operators mostly cannot get near the place, and those that do face at least the same danger as everyone else, if not more.

It's not something to be taken lightly, as is well known and described by people who have to view graphic footage in their line of work. I have become somewhat desensitised, which I think overall is probably a bad thing. The reason I don't turn away, usually, and I share these things widely is because they were deliberately uploaded not to gain followers but to draw attention to the reality. Many Palestinians have explained that this is their motivation for sharing what they do. It makes it less abstract, harder to ignore, harder to deny. I would argue that it's working insofar as Israel's reputation has taken an absolute hammering. Sometimes though, the written word is more powerful. Some of the things I have read have upset me more than anything I have seen (though it is probably all connected).

My main concern right now is actually the lack of footage from Northern Gaza. Out of sight, out of mind. That's what Israel wants. I accept the wrathful names of God, but one way I personally deal with the situation is to draw attention to them. This is not a path for everyone and if people need to turn away, so be it, but do not deny that it is happening in the face of all this evidence. I have no time for that, personally.

Good point I wasn’t really aware of but is kinda obvious indeed!: Many if not all of the insanely cruel and inhumane things we can see uploaded on X from Palestine are from the victims, imprisoned in a cage they can’t get out of, documenting for, and showing to the world the depths of evil committed by Israel. So it kinda makes you think that you should indeed share that stuff as far and wide as you can although I personally still choose to not look at it!

I think the choice and/or benefit of personally looking at such graphic scenes is probably not black or white:

For example: For some people it might be what is needed to be seen and for others they might choose not to see it because they for example see no need to unecesserely trigger things like PTSD from memories (or suppressed memories) of truly evil things they or someone close personally experienced in the past. You can have an extensive intellectual and/or personal knowledge of evil and decide that you don’t need to see all the details to get the picture. You know how truly evil, evil can be, not only intellectually but physically by personal experience, to say that there is really no need for you to expose yourself to such graphic scenes. There are probably a number of other good personal reasons for each person why they should or shouldn’t decide to look at it.

I'm still catching up with the thread, but I've always understood the phrase as:

Anticipation of Outcome: It might also be said when someone is about to witness the consequences of actions (either their own or someone else's), where the "show" is the unfolding of events. Here, it can have a tone of "watch and see what happens."

Or:

Observation of Drama or Conflict: When someone says "enjoy the show" regarding a situation where drama, conflict, or some chaotic event is unfolding (which they are not directly involved in), it implies that the observer can sit back and watch the events play out like a spectacle, often with an element of detachment.

But detachment is very complicated when you see thousands of innocent people being murdered in horrific ways and nobody is doing anything of substance to stop it. For example, many in the UN have complained and presented evidence of genocide, but there won't be any action. It's just infuriating, but thanks to this and other recent issues, it's becoming more and more clear how useless the UN is at things that matter, and how it really enables the atrocities of the US and Israel.

Many might think that the Zionist state will get away with it again... as the ethnic cleansing has been going on for many years and nothing has been done. But the rabid hunger of the Zionists to finally create the Great Israel at any cost blinds them to the consequences (wishful thinking).

Not to instrumentalize the suffering of the Palestinians, but their sacrifice is helping to further expose, for those who can see, the deep evil of the Zionists and their far-reaching destructive influence around the world. I think this can't go on for long and it won't end well for Israel, they are pushing too hard this time.

And well, the Universe always responds to bring balance at the right time, and oh boy! things are way out of balance right now. I think it's part of trusting the Universe.

Just my two cents so far.

This thread has really hit home with me and I'm thankful it was opened up to the public forum.

I endure a constant struggle with this business of good and evil. Trying to find acceptance and a tolerable way to feel about our world right now is very difficult for me.

With the psychopaths (and 4D STS) trying in every way, shape, and form to enslave us, and causing so much pain and suffering, I feel a desire to cocoon myself off for fear of going into some deep depressive mode. And I fully well know that is not a healthy choice for myself.

I am only on page 3 of this thread but I wanted to jump in here and thank all of you that have shared your own thoughts and feelings on how you see the state we're in and especially the Palestine tragedy. Just reading what I've read so far in this thread is helping me immensely and making me feel a bit lighter. And I greatly appreciate it.

I am also grateful to my brother (LQB) for introducing me to Laura's work and this forum and so much more many years ago. I have been a member of this forum and FOTCM for a very long time. I read my favorite threads religiously every morning for a least a couple of hours and I don't know why I find it so terrifying to make posts. I have soaked up so much information and knowledge here and have not really given back which I feel bad about. I will do better. Thanks again.

What an interesting thread!

I have also pondered what the Cs meant by "enjoy the show".

I like the movie analogy. It is possible to enjoy a movie, learn from it, and grow from it, even if it contains horrifying elements.

One thought that came to my mind while reading this thread was from "Paul's Letter On Love". For now [in this time of imperfection] we see in a mirror dimly [a blurred reflection, a riddle, an enigma], but then [when the time of perfection comes we will see reality] face to face. Now I know in part [just in fragments], but then I will know fully, just as I have been fully known [by God].

To me, "when perfection comes" symbolizes the wave. And the time when we will "be known fully" is the 4th density experience. I know from what we have learned here that 4th density is not fully uniting with the One/God but still. I think enough layers of the illusion will be lifted that we can breathe differently and see more situations from a broader perspective without the 3rd density limitations.

I don't know how to explain it but even though I have never seen so much suffering in the world, so much utter devastation and seemingly pointless killing from the psychopaths running most of the show, I am still positive. Positive in the sense that I "know" that we have to get through this phase to be able to move into the next, which will be better.

Thank you Joe for starting this discussion.

I understand "enjoy the show" similarly to your approach, as a process.
As you gain Knowledge, the filters built from 3D programming disappear one by one.
The essence of a person begins to come into contact with reality more directly and thus our "antennas" give a more objective picture for the soul.
When we look at the world through the eyes of the soul then we begin to "enjoy the show" in the right way.

OR VICE VERSA.

A saying:
He who suffers when he enjoys does not get bored even in the grave, or vice versa.

El que sufre cuando goza no se aburre ni en la fosa

This is for those who do not miss a single detail of what happens in Palestine war, yes, many suffer when they see the suffering of others and even feel compassion But they do not miss any detail of what happens with the sad fate of the Palestinians in this war or in any other as if it were a very funny show,

Incredible discussion!

After reading Joe's question I thought on it for a while before reading the thread. After doing so, I found that everything I thought of was covered here. Even so, sometimes there's value in presenting one's own opinions in their own words, both for clarification and also for feedback.

The first thought I had concerning "enjoying" these times is that I am darn glad that I can come here and know that there is actually a community of like-minded people I can interact with who sees 95% of what I'm seeing (and y'all need to work on that other 5% LOL.../s) who will listen to and support each other in the face of these times. We are NOT alone, and I personally get a lot of comfort knowing this community is here. And I do enjoy sharing with such a network, even when the topics are grim.

My second thought about "enjoying" these times, is that I am glad in the knowledge that I am personally not directly involved in carrying out the dastardly deeds that are occurring on this planet at this time. I also "enjoy" that I haven't allowed myself to become enthralled with the ponerological elite's control over us and blindly accept their views of reality, which many take on as their own because they either refuse or are too lazy to do any thinking for themselves - though that "joy" is counterbalanced by the fact I am seeing so many become physically and/or mentally destroyed by doing so.

I have compassion and empathy for all who are suffering in these dark times. Sometimes it is overwhelming and drowns out the "joy". My point is, I feel BOTH things simultaneously - these feelings coexist within me, and I can not deny them. I'm learning certain lessons that others are just not getting, and though that makes me sad on many levels, I am at least glad that I (think I) can see these lessons for what they are.

It's a tough school, and failing means having to do it all over again, perhaps for another 309,000 years or more. I HOPE that I can finally celebrate graduation!! (And I realize that's not a given.) And: I'm learning how to share with others what I see in ways that do, at times, allow them to also see - when they are ready. We aren't learning these lessons just for ourselves: we are learning them so we can pass them on to others. That for me is the greatest joy I feel these days.

There is also a part of me that thinks I absolutely needed to be here to witness all of this darkness and chaos, because it will make the lightness all the sweeter in the end. Knowing and seeing the stark contrast between good and evil will make it much easier to identify what IS good and evil going forward. And, having been here on Earth during these times, we will carry forward these experiences into future lives. Perhaps having experienced all of this once, we will not have to experience it again - or at the very least, in the future we can see when evil is starting to manifest and either nip it in the bud or get the hell out!!

Well, I am not able to “enjoy the show”. I see a lot of stuff on X and its hard to look past it and feel any enjoyment about it. I do enjoy seeing the weather events though as thats an act of nature (even though 4D influenced at times) and can provide some balancing. What’s more depressing is the ignorance of people around us who hardly get to hear about these news and are too busy dealing with their own little stresses of life. I get all the things been said and well aware of what we have discussed, read and learned. We are neither at 4D or 6D to fully separate the emotions from our body so have to deal with the shit show in our own way.

Maybe the act of “enjoyment” is yet to come and revival of Trump has something to do with that. Still, a good question for the C’s.

Great thread, with highly insightful and thought-provoking contributions.

FWIW, my take is that 'enjoy the show' can also be read as 'benefit from the revelations' as the sheer inhumanity of our so-called leaders reveals itself.

Many contributors have highlighted the plight of the Palestinians as an example of the horrors taking place in plain view, and rightly so, but there are so many other things taking place under our noses that don't receive the same publicity, which shows just how deep the misery goes.

For my part (and if you've read any of my other contributions, I apologise for any repetition), I see the unspeakably grim situation in French New Caledonia, where a community of 15,000 people has been isolated for five months by a couple of dozen terrorists who carried out repeated violent car-jackings, stonings and shootings back in May/June on the only road the connects the community to the rest of the island. For the safety of the citizens, the High Commissioner set up Gendarme-held road blocks at each end of the 6km stretch of road, which corresponds to the boundaries of the local tribe to which the terrorists belong. The only means of transport the isolated can use is a small fleet of semi-rigid inflatable boats (max. capacity 15 people), supplemented by 2 small ferries (capacity 100 people) which shuttle back and forth for the 45 minute journey to the capital, weather conditions permitting. An army barge transports food, petrol and gas supplies. Though the road has recently been re-opened by the High Commissioner, continued stoning and car-jacking means the road is far from safe! You take it at your own risk and peril, despite the continued heavy presence of the Gendarmes.

In terms of 'enjoying the show', the issue is less that of the terrorists than the management of the situation by the French State which has allowed the situation to deteriorate, with no effective solution in sight. The absolute return of law and order has been compromised by the fear of... what? A resulting civil war? Accusations of neo-colonialism? How deep do you want to go down THAT rabbit hole?

What I find frightening, and many of you will also have noticed it, I'm sure, in other situations, is how blind or in denial the vast majority are to the show. Some local social media commentators (urgh!) have been lauding Netanyahu and the Israeli response to 7th October 'invasion' and calling for a similar solution. Having friends and family on the other side of the blockade, I can understand some of the extreme reactions of the isolated (to a degree), as almost everything they took for granted has crumbled around them, but supporting a genocidal maniac?! Desperate people do desperate things, and it requires a massive effort of will to stand apart and remain calm amongst the chaos.

If this is the microcosm of the macrocosm, enjoy the current show, but use the knowledge to prepare yourself accordingly.

“Enjoy the show” means sit, look and eat pop corn. In a word, stay calm, let the show pass as relaxed as possible, don't panic. It's not easy at all. It's a discipline. Some people have more complicated situations than others, so it's harder. Staying calm and watching with stoicism is a discipline that should help us and it's important, I think, to do so, not only for ourselves but for those around us. Not reacting, because “enjoy the show” means sitting back, watching and eating popcorn. Difficult to react when you have popcorn in your mouth.;-)

Thank you Joe for initiate this topic and thanks everyone for sharing your feeling and insights - you said it all.
I can only agree.
Especially thanks for making it public for all of us, it is just in time.

For me 'sit back, relax and enjoy the show' always meant like confirmation why we are all here.

We choose to be here, go through it, take some hard hits, so we could purify our own souls, intentions,
so we can feel our burning hearts ( with middle finger emphasized high up ) in times when we look straight in the eyes of evil.

Yeah, there will be moments of despair, helplessness, but you know who you are.
Since the soul is all that matters and we have seen so much NDE stories, it is easier to accept stoical point of view and way of living.
Be in this world but not from it.
Some days I'm devastated following the news but humbly grateful I'm not in that kind of situtation.
Sending prayers and some sort of cheering for those souls going through so much trauma and pain.
Like hugging them in spirit. Sorry I don't know how to put it in words better. It is going to be OK.
Everything is for reason although we are still unaware of it all.

And I will fight my own battles, help where I can in my little corner of reality, accept what I can not affect in a big picture.
It is all faces of God and have faith Universe knows the best. Grace will come.
