Well, well, well, it appears Joshua Gray is in the same business as us (Cabin Rentals) Wonder if he's ever clubbed any of his tenent's dogs in the head?

He's even offering "free high speed Internet" which is VERY expensive, since you must have a commercial account to "resell" Internet in your Cabin Rentals...at least that's what Frontier told us.

Reading the ad, it listed his wife's name as the person to contact for rental, not Joshua. That makes me wonder if she's really the one taking all the business risks? Especially if his name isn't on anything? It might be how he keeps from appearing to have a conflict of interest for his 'day job'? I'm not sure how that would work.

As far as I can see, the Mud Puppies pottery business is mentioned once on a pottery-related Facebook group but has no dedicated FB page. I was unable to find anything relating to the log-cabin rental either. It seems that the cabin thing is not really a business as such... more like a nice money earner on the side. But being at work that's all I could find out for the mo.

Just now checking in on this thread. Truly unbelievable story this guy is giving and the fact that others saw the incident, he still said he fell backwards and accidental hit the dog... My mind is wrapped around 6ft tall person, 15 pound dog. What was this guy thinking???

It is hard to trust the justice system in the USA. It is so ponerized. Is this an election year for the DA? Making it public as much as you all did, maybe the DA's office will push it harder when they know the general public is watching. Then there is the jury to be weary of.

Thanks hon, I really appreciate that. Joshua Gray's Internet footprint was all but non existent... until now. His wife is a Potter, so she's got some listings, but it doesn't look like he spends much, if any, time on the net at all. Of course that could change when I start going through the older data from other parts of the country.

I'm going to wait a couple days before warning pet owners about Gray's Cabin Rental business, so as to give his wife time to remove their kids names and pictures from their feeder listings. She's already sanitized her own webpage and removed their names, but it will take her a few days to get their names and pictures off some of these travel sites.

I haven't gone through all the dumps yet, but it basically looks like Gray married old money in the area, which could explain why we encountered such resistance. Of course his wife and kids didn't hurt Pepper, so I'm going to try to keep them out of this as much as possible, but any pet owner thinking of renting a cabin from Gray deserves to know what he did to a tiny little dog.

His wife looks net savvy enough to at least get her kids names and pictures off these rental listings ...and that will be a VERY good thing regardless. NO ONE should post their minor children's names, photos and address on the Web anyway...that's just asking for some sick pervert to target them.

As I was reading through his listings I was thinking "OMG, is this man nuts?" He's offering a secluded rental cabin to the general public, AND posting a picture of his small children, along with their names??

I just gotta believe the Divine really has a sense of humor. This "man" comes to our home, almost kills Pepper, TOTALLY destroys our peace of mind, has everyone jumping at the slightest noise and having screaming nightmares...and I'm gonna wind up protecting his kids from his own stupidity.

Actually, their cabin rental business has its own domain and website and about 20 listings or so on various Vacation Rentals sites. It's a cookie cutter site, but it's got pretty good coverage.

The wife's Pottery business has it's own domain and website too, also template, but I'm not going to include it in the blog. She didn't club Pepper, and I don't think many people are going to take their pets to a Pottery class?

The statement from Frontier that I saw said he was "surprised" by the dog and reacted "instinctively" ...which is a joke to anyone who's ever known a miniature schnauzer. Did you see somewhere he said he "fell" and it was an "accident?" If so, he's changed his story?

Well all the attention has at least gotten Pepper a shot at a little justice. My main concern is that Gray NEVER be allowed to just walk into someone else's yard and attack their leashed pet again.

Service Technicians for phone and utilities companies have BROAD latitude when it comes to going on private property...and they need it to do their work. This 'man" MUST be denied this privilege, or no one's pets are safe tied up in their own back yard.

Then there is the jury to be weary of.

Pepper looks SOOOOOO pitiful....she can stand on her own now, but she just walks in a little circle with her head tilted to one side. She can't eat yet either, but she did lap a little chicken broth

She's on the web advertising a VERY secluded cabin on a remote mountain, then telling people there are small children running around, AND she gives their names and pictures.

That's just three different kinds of STUPID all rolled into one ...even if the attack on Pepper had never happened. These ignorant people come stumbling into the Cyberverse without a CLUE about the dangers. They post pictures, names, sometimes even birthdays, exposing their kids to MILLIONS of perverts and then act surprised when one puts down a $100.00 deposit and comes knocking on their door.

Exactly! The victims of child sexual predators come in every race, religion, color, economic bracket, etc. The only commonality I've ever been able to discern is that the parents never believe it could happen to their child. They hear all the horror stories...but it always happens to someone else's baby. The thought of it happening to their own kids is so horrible, they put the possibility out of their minds...and that's EXACTLY what the predators count on.

Right now, while we're sitting here chatting, there are tens of THOUSANDS of child sexual predators HUNTING their next victims. They're searching for a way to get a child alone, in a secluded area. They're HUNTING for opportunities to become coaches, youth councilors, baby sitters...any trusted position that will get them alone with a child. Finding a situation like what's depicted in the Gray's Vacation Rental ads is like hitting the Lotto to some of these pervs.

Yeah, I ran his photo too...no hits. It doesn't appear that he's active on the Internet at all, which is kinda funny since he installs it.

Yes I will, but since I'm a witness to what happened both before and after the blow was struck, I don't know if I'll be allowed to watch the whole trial or not? If I'm called as a witness, I'll probably be secluded during testimony, so my roommate (who was at work when the assault happened) will be going to take notes too.

About the same, she's hit a "plateau" ....which isn't good. The family, especially the little boy, are having a VERY difficult time with her condition. If you put her on the ground, she just walks in a circle a few times then falls over.

Do you think the family might be willing to try DMSO? There's info on the net about it reversing stroke damage so if a blow to the head is similar to stroke...

We've given it to our dog a number of times, even injecting it. It sure makes a difference in a hurry.
