Thinking what things hi may have in store for keeping his plan going, also who is he working with, makes me sad and mad. This kind of people work as puppets, that's what they are, the puppets of evil.

It is. The potential symbolism behind the name is intriguing. I hadn't seen that phrase used but there were a couple references to an unnamed project he was involved in, with no indication really of what it was. That was one of the brick walls I ran into.

Well, in a nutshell it's a government intelligence program that infiltrates social movements to bring them down from the inside or turn them against other social movements. Loads about it on the net - search away! (I'm assuming you're not being sarcastic on this one... ;) - if you are..... )

Counter intelligence program. The name used by the FBI in their infiltration/neutralization of antiwar groups in the 50s, 60s, and very early 70s. It was "officially" closed after the Church Committee investigation, but you know what that means - shred the papers, change the name, and business as usual. More commonly used nowadays to refer to any counter intel operation. Could be CIA, FBI, NSA, whatever. Even your run-o-the-mill contractor like Jedburgh Corp. ;)

Given Marine backgrounds, most likely intelligence (counter), if he isn't still working for them, he's probably privately contracted by them.

This matches what I've been able to find on him, however I've run into several brick walls on his military records. Very suspicious brick walls that shouldn't be there, if you catch my drift.

Yeah, I ran into a lot of dead ends and burned bridges. I kind of rebuilt a bridge so speak and got a bunch of garbage and a bunch of "Codename: AppleJack" in there.

Sounded like a name reference by how they were putting it. It was in the same info I found mention of Project Celestia, from what little I made out of it, it sounded like it was some sort of counter-intelligence operation involving rooting sleepers within activist movements, truth seekers, essentially anything that the government could label as a dissident. After the sleeper cells are actively integrated and respected, they turn it into a theater, and begin a drawn out campaign across it, at critical historical moments. So as information would normally leak out about an incident that a movement could act upon, they would be caught up in petty drama and unable to organize and act, or see and record.

It sounds like AppleJack/Sully had his own pet project, and that vibe-whatever was involved. My question is what is HIS real goal? It's waaaaayyy too out there to be 100% government influence, he has his own personal motives of where he wants it to go.

Actually, "Psychopath" doesn't mean he's crazy (Psychotic) "Psychopath" means that he has absolutely NO empathy for his fellow man, which is exactly what you're describing.
 
It is indeed extremely sad. So sad to know that the same government that promises us rights, covertly tries to take them away from those they don't like at the same time.

Wormsnap, that's my concern too. We can understand and prepare for government infiltration, but I don't know what to make of Vibe, or of how insistently he pushed the same thing under the same name for so many years. And with as deeply as he managed to root it into WITP, that's dangerous.
