Thanks for posting the photos! It looks really clean & welcoming (both inside & from the outside). Most clinics and hospitals I've seen or been in have a very stark, clinical somewhat foreboding look and feel to them.

Oh yes, it looks so nice, clean, peaceful and warm! Like a family home/B&B. But what an ordeal it must have been. All for the best though, hopefully. Wishing you the best recovery, and waiting for you to be ready to r'n'roll :scooter: :bacon:

Ditto to that.

And of course we can see at least one book on your bed. :lkj:

Welcome back, with a renewed body, which will serve you well in order to enjoy your stay here !!! :)
I do wish you to attain soon a good physical condition to spread your wings and soar!

Thanks so much.

The miracle, right now, is that I can stand up and sit down without any pain at all in my knees/legs. After a year of agony every time I did that, it sure is a relief. And that is, I'm sure, just the beginning. In fact, other than the soreness in my belly from the liposuction, which is receding slowly, I'm generally pain free. They gave me a lot of brain fog clearing drips, anti-brain aging drips and such, so my head feels generally pretty good at this point. I'm still in the resting mode because I know I have "baby knees" at the moment. They have been put back together and loaded with healing stuff, but it can take 3 months for the new cartilage to be fully formed. And believe me, my knees were destroyed; the left worse than the right; stuff broken off and floating around, displaced, etc.

WoW! Kind of gives me goose bumps to think of the new possibilities. I was hoping it would be positive and that is almost beyond my expectations. Really great to know that Laura.

Big hug.

I think that much of the credit for putting the knees back together and solving much of the pain problem before the stem cells were pumped in must go to the SwissMedica physiotherapist, Ivan AKA PeeTee. He's a genius. He used physical manipulation, SparkWave machine, electric stimulation and laser therapy on them. That put all the pieces back in the right relationship to each other, now they just need to re-grow that way.

I tell ya, it's a thorough series of treatments you get once they decide what the problems are.

Thanks for the Updates, Laura. Glad the operations went well and that you and Ark were taken care of so well!
Thanks for braving the procedures and may your recovery be quick and complete. :flowers: :hug2:
I couldn't imagine functioning under so much pain in the knees for so long. Wishing you much rest and for them to become strong and whole again!

Wow! That sounds like an exciting and serious step in the right direction. I'm really happy for you Laura. Just take it easy and give those knees a chance to grow and heal before you start doing the happy-bacon-dance. :)

I wonder if the Spark Wave machine uses the same technology that Tesla used. It was called Spark Gap, as that was the first method used to broadcast signals. Soon after it was legislated out of existence, as it was said there were other more efficient methods of producing radio signals. Here is an article about Tesla discovering its healing properties and using it on himself on injuries sustained from being hit by a taxi.

http://teslapress.com/electrotherapy.html

Tesla had a hunch that, since his high-potential, high-frequency currents could be passed into the body harmlessly, "these currents might lend themselves to electrotherapeutic uses." Tesla experimented upon himself. When he was struck down in the streets by a New York taxi, he didn’t deliver himself over to the medicals but dragged himself up to his hotel room where, in seclusion and with the help of his own electrotherapy, he recovered from his fractures and contusions

Thanks for the photos and the description of the procedure. It sounds pretty amazing and even though it was an ordeal, then the way it was handled and the professionalism and human touch made it bareable. Very happy that your state of health finally is going in the right direction ready for the challenges ahead. :)
