Meteorite Explodes Over Russia Injures Hundreds

It appears that another meteor just was spotted over Cuba. That is at least the story from RT:

Meteorite-like object reportedly spotted in Cuba

An object reportedly fell from the sky and exploded loudly over the province of Cienfuegos in southern Cuba, the local TV service Rodas cites eyewitnesses as saying. Residents described the object as being comparable in size to a bus, adding that their houses shook following the explosion. Cuban specialists are examining the scene for potential remains of the object. No damages or injuries have been reported.

I have not yet seen other sources for this sighting.

Related to the other meteor over Russia or to the asteroid flyby today?

Here is the link from another source but I am unable to copy and paste http://investmentwatchblog.com/breaking-meteor-crash-this-time-in-cuba/

The link from RT is here http://rt.com/news/line/2013-02-15/#id45233

The Cuban meteor story is a bit puzzling as search engines come up with one Italian site, an investment site and two known shady sites: godlikeproductions and abovetopsecret. The story and images are mixed a bit with the Russian meteor story, so it is not clear if it is for real. Strange that no Spanish sites carry the story or perhaps I just haven't stumbled on them yet.

Here is a story from a Spanish newspaper about the meteor in Cuba http://www.elcomercio.com/tecnologia/ciencia/meteorito-Cuba-lluvia_de_meteoros-astronomia_0_866313517.html

Perhaps you can point the book out to the many Russians looking for answers to this phenomenon.

Related to the same "looking for answers" which prompted me to get the book, is another question that occurs to me: is the Cass site ready to handle a big increase of visitors who may soon start looking for answers?

Just now here where I live in germany I heard several small firework like explosions. I just looked outside and one of those small explosions lid up the sky behind the clouds quite a bit, I think it was bluish.

It wasn't a big noise, just a handful firework like explosions.
It could have been fireworks, but the timing surely makes me wonder.

Anyone else hearing seeing something?

Awesomeness. Scotty was known for doubling his time estimates for repairs so that he could fix a problem in "half the time".
