Return of the Plagues - Hailstroms (FULL DOCUMENTARY)
www.youtube.com/watch?v=xVfMytHuZuE
Mostly on the edge of mountain ranges such as the Alps and the Rocky Mountains, hail and heavy rain have devastating effects today in conjunction with global warming: crops are destroyed, homes and cars are swept away, adding up to billions of dollars in damages. Thousands of people have already died as a result of floods, landslides and mudslides.

The documentary, Return of the Plagues, follows individual researchers in Germany, Austria, and Colorado who are trying to determine the conditions that cause these disasters, laying the groundwork for possibly controlling them in the future, or at least making more reliable predictions. Scientists study the dramatic sequence of events in a landslide or a flood, and they test man-made structures that are meant to withstand the enormous power of these mountains. In Styria, “hail pilots” fly small propeller aircraft into menacing thunderclouds, in order to manipulate the weather.

Hero or Villain: The Prosecution of Julian Assange | Four Corners (ABC Australia 2019)
www.youtube.com/watch?v=HtelzRAPlT8
Julian Assange is one of the most influential figures to emerge this century. The Australian born founder of WikiLeaks has harnessed the technology of the digital age to unleash an information war against governments and corporations.

WikiLeaks has collaborated with anonymous sources to release highly classified and often deeply embarrassing information to the world.

The organisation exploded onto the world stage in 2010 when it began publishing a series of spectacular leaks laying bare the conduct of the United States. At the centre of it all was Julian Assange.

The leaks sparked ferocious debate over the right to know and the right to keep secrets.

Now Julian Assange is in the fight of his life. In April this year he was dragged, protesting, from the Ecuadorian Embassy in London, nearly seven years after seeking diplomatic protection.

He is facing extradition to the United States on espionage charges stemming from the spectacular 2010 leaks by Private Chelsea Manning.

Everyone has an opinion about Julian Assange, but now you will hear from those who have been on the inside.

Four Corners investigates the prosecution of Julian Assange in key interviews with those at the heart of WikiLeaks and those who have sought to bring him to US justice. These insider accounts give powerful insights into how these momentous events have unfolded.
WikiLeaks: The Forgotten Man | Four Corners (ABC Australia 2012)
www.youtube.com/watch?v=dzkFpDjBHeA
In this investigation from 2012, Four Corners tells the story of Bradley Manning and the people who'd helped the United States government build a case against him, describing the ferocious battle between hackers and the U.S. government as they pursue Julian Assange and WikiLeaks.

The program also talks to Juan Mendez, the United Nations Special Rapporteur on Torture, about the treatment of Bradley Manning.

Mr Mendez says Manning was subjected to cruel, inhuman and degrading treatment during his "excessive and prolonged isolation" at Quantico Marine Corps Base outside Washington.

One of the last comments the reporter makes is "we can't let down our guard". This is so true but the role of evil is so relentless,, so insidious, so exhausting sane people get worn down and mentally confused., We do need strong bodies, minds and strong like-minded friends to keep calm sane and focused. That's a lot of requirements, and yet as mentioned elsewhere, if we don't have those it can so easily lead to soul smashing. It all seems so surreal - like a nasty dream you can't waken from.

The C's once said that people like Soros are following their nature and are very good at the whole STS thing or words to that effect.

If only I could be as dedicated to the opposite path I wouldn't feel so inadequate.

Thank you Whitecoast for the Documentary .
