Putin Recognizes Donbass Republics, Sends Russian Military to 'Denazify' Ukraine

Investigative journalist Dilyana Gaytandzhieva has researched Pentagon funded biolabs in Ukraine (and elsewhere in Eastern Europe), and the evidence she has gathered, based on leaked documents, shows there's been experiments done on several thousand soldiers in Ukraine and Georgia, which may have involved death cases and injuries. The US personnel doing this research and experiments have been protected legally and are not held accountable for these activities:

While the US is planning to increase its military presence in Eastern Europe to “protect its allies against Russia”, internal documents show what American “protection” in practical terms means.

The Pentagon has conducted biological experiments with a potentially lethal outcome on 4,400 soldiers in Ukraine and 1,000 soldiers in Georgia. According to leaked documents, all volunteer deaths should be reported within 24 h (in Ukraine) and 48 h (in Georgia).

Both countries are considered the most loyal US partners in the region with a number of Pentagon programs being implemented in their territory. One of them is the $2.5 billion Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) Biological engagement program which includes research on bio agents, deadly viruses and antibiotic-resistant bacteria being studied on the local population.

Project GG-21: “All volunteer deaths will be promptly reported”

The Pentagon has launched a 5-year long project with a possible extension of up to 3 years code-named GG-21: “Arthropod-borne and zoonotic infections among military personnel in Georgia”. According to the project’s description, blood samples will be obtained from 1,000 military recruits at the time of their military registration physical exam at the Georgian military hospital located in Gori.

Such a procedure cannot cause death. However, according to the project report, “all volunteer deaths will be promptly reported (usually within 48 h of the PI being notified)” to the Georgian Military Hospital and WRAIR.

Project UP-8: All deaths of study participants should be reported within 24 h

The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) has funded a similar project involving soldiers in Ukraine code-named UP-8: The spread of Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever (CCHF) virus and hantaviruses in Ukraine and the potential need for differential diagnosis in patients with suspected leptospirosis. The project started in 2017 and was extended few times until 2020, internal documents show.

According to the project’s description, blood samples will be collected from 4,400 healthy soldiers in Lviv, Kharkov, Odesa and Kyiv. 4,000 of these samples will be tested for antibodies against hantaviruses, and 400 of them – for the presence of antibodies against Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever (CCHF) virus. The results of the blood testing will not be provided to the study participants.

There is no information as to what other procedures will be performed except that “serious incidents, including deaths should be reported within 24 hours. All deaths of study subjects that are suspected or known to be related to the research procedures should be brought to the attention of the bioethics committees in the USA and Ukraine.”

DTRA has allocated $80 million for biological research in Ukraine as of 30 July 2020, according to information obtained from the US Federal contracts registry. Tasked with the program is the US company Black &Veatch Special Projects Corp.

US personnel are indemnified for deaths and injuries to the local population

The DTRA activities in Georgia and Ukraine fall under the protection of special bilateral agreements. According to these agreements, Georgia and Ukraine shall hold harmless, bring no legal proceedings and indemnify the United States and its personnel, contractors and contractors’ personnel, for damage to property, or death or injury to any persons in Georgia and Ukraine, arising out of activities under this Agreement. If DTRA-sponsored scientists cause deaths or injuries to the local population they cannot be held to account.

In this post there is more about Azov, its origin, the current president and links that may influence him.
A long article that attempts to tie what is happening in Ukraine to

Ukraine And The New Al Qaeda

Azov, mentioned in the article above, was founded in 2014 on May 5, three days after the fire at the Trade Union House in Odessa.

Azov's first commander was
Andriy Biletsky. From the Wiki there is:
In 2002 Biletsky became a leader of the Kharkiv branch of the political organization Tryzub, and in 2003 cooperated with the Social-National Party of Ukraine (SNPU) opposing the idea of its transformation into Svoboda.[4]
During the Euromaidan events, members of the Biletsky's Patriot of Ukraine were among the founders of Right Sector on 28 November 2013. On 24 February 2014, the Ukrainian parliament adopted a decision on the freedom of political prisoners. The next day, Biletsky, along with other prisoners, were completely acquitted of all charges and freed from custody.

On 12 March 2014, Biletsky became a party leader in special operations for the "Right Sector - East," which included such regions as Poltava, Kharkiv, Donetsk, and Luhansk oblasts. On 5 May 2014 in Berdyansk Biletsky became a founder of the Azov Battalion (as a territorial battalion of patrol service), and its first commander. The battalion was initially composed of members of the Patriot of Ukraine, SNA, football fans (notably the Dynamo Kyiv supporters) and the AutoMaidan movement.
Berdyansk is a port city at the sea of Azov in the Zaporozhye region, located about, 75 km from the town of Mariupol where four days after the founding of Azov, the Mariupol massacre took place. Is this more than a coincidence?

MASSACRE IN MARIUPOL: UP TO 100 PEOPLE SHOT DEAD ON DAY OF VICTORY OVER FASCISM
In the morning of the 9th of May the newly appointed head of the police department in Mariupol, Valery Androschuk has called for a gathering of local police personnel. He was accompanied by the head of the special battalion “Denpr” (a newly formed death squad of neo-nazi). During the meeting the police chief read to the policemen the order to disperse the rally on Victory day over fascism and arrest ‘the most active citizens’. This victory day rally is held every year on the 9th of May to remember the victory over Hitler fascism in 1945.

The policemen refused to fulfill the order of the newly appointed chief. Then the head of department Andruschuk shot one of them with a pistol on a rank-and-file policeman. His colleagues immidiately shot back – the head of the police department was wounded and the head of the death squad ‘Dnepr’ was killed on the spot. The personnel of police refuse to obey any orders and declared that they would not wage a war against their own people. Androschuk barricaded himself in one of the offices of the building and called the National Guard to help him in the police department. Immediately APCs, ‘National guard’ and Right Sector militants were sent to suppress the defection of the police to the people of the city. Those promptly arrived and started an attack. At least 14 APCs and tanks were deployed to Mariupol by the Ukrainian government. The citizens of the city immediately took to the streets and tried to stop the tanks with their bare hands. In the end they were not successful. And so the tanks started the onslaught onto the city.
If you noticed the name "Dnepre", it is connected to the alleged founder Kolomoyskyi. From the Wiki:
Governor of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast[edit]
On 2 March 2014, amidst the 2014 pro-Russian conflict in Ukraine, acting President Oleksandr Turchynov appointed Kolomoyskyi Governor of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.[41] Two days later, Russian President Vladimir Putin described Kolomoyskyi as a "unique crook," and said that the citizens of Dnipropetrovsk were not happy with his appointment as Governor of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.[9] According to Putin, Roman Abramovich has been cheated by Igor Kolomoyskyi. Putin claimed that Kolomoyskyi had reneged on a contract with Abramovich, saying "He [Kolomoyskyi] even managed to cheat our Roman Abramovich two or three years ago. Scammed him, as our intellectuals like to say. They signed some deal, Abramovich transferred several billion dollars, while this guy never delivered and pocketed the money. When I asked him [Abramovich]: "Why did you do it?" he said: "I never thought this was possible."[42] In contrast, The Daily Beast, a US publication, wrote in mid-June 2014 that Kolomoyskyi enjoyed the local population's strong support. "I don't care if he's like Hitler, as long as he prevents war coming here," says a local restaurateur.[43]

In April 2014 Kolomoyskyi offered a bounty for the capture of Russian-backed militants and incentives for the turning in of weapons.[44] He also is believed to have spent $10 million to create the Dnipro Battalion,[43][45] and also funded the Aidar, Azov, Dnepr 1, Dnepr 2, and Donbas volunteer battalions.[46]

Russia is asking for Kolomoyskyi to be put on Interpol's wanted list.[47] On 2 July 2014 a Russian District Court authorized his arrest in absentia for "organizing the killing of civilians".[48]

In March 2015, after the dismissal of Oleksandr Lazorko, who was a protege of Kolomoyskyi, as a chief executive of UkrTransNafta, Ukraine's state-owned oil pipeline operator, men reported to be Kolomoyskyi's personal militia raided the UkrTransNafta's headquarters to expel the new government-appointed chief from the office. While Lazorko was in charge the state-owned pipelines had been delivering oil to an Kolomoisky-owned refinery in preference to competitors.[12][49] According to Kolomoyskyi the raids were done with the aim to protect the companies from raiders and he related to it as a "PR-stunt to improve the ratings of smaller parties".[50]

On 25 March 2015, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko signed a decree dismissing Kolomoyskyi from the post of Dnipropetrovsk RSA Head, saying "Dnipropetrovsk region must remain a bastion of Ukraine in the East and protect peace". Kolomoyskyi was replaced by Valentyn Reznichenko.[12][51][52]

Jewish politics[edit]
Kolomoyski is a prominent supporter of Ukraine's Jewish community[53] and the president of the United Jewish Community of Ukraine.[54] In 2010, he was appointed as the president of the European Council of Jewish Communities (ECJC)[55] after promising the outgoing president he would donate $14 million,[56] with his appointment being described as a "putsch"[54][55] and a "Soviet-style takeover"[57] by other ECJC board members. After several ECJC board members resigned in protest, Kolomyski quit the ECJC and, together with fellow Ukrainian oligarch Vadim Rabinovich, founded the European Jewish Union.[56]

How Ukraine’s Jewish president Zelensky made peace with neo-Nazi paramilitaries on front lines of war with Russia
While Western media deploys Volodymyr Zelensky’s Jewish heritage to refute accusations of Nazi influence in Ukraine, the president has ceded to neo-Nazi forces and now depends on them as front line fighters.
By Alexander RUBINSTEIN and Max BLUMENTHAL

Back in October 2019, as the war in eastern Ukraine dragged on, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky traveled to Zolote, a town situated firmly in the “gray zone” of Donbas, where over 14,000 had been killed, mostly on the pro-Russian side. There, the president encountered the hardened veterans of extreme right paramilitary units keeping up the fight against separatists just a few miles away.

Elected on a platform of de-escalation of hostilities with Russia, Zelensky was determined to enforce the so-called Steinmeier Formula conceived by then-German Foreign Minister Walter Steinmeier which called for elections in the Russian-speaking regions of Donetsk and Lugansk.

In a face-to-face confrontation with militants from the neo-Nazi Azov Battalion who had launched a campaign to sabotage the peace initiative called “No to Capitulation,” Zelensky encountered a wall of obstinacy.

With appeals for disengagement from the frontlines firmly rejected, Zelensky melted down on camera. “I’m the president of this country. I’m 41 years old. I’m not a loser. I came to you and told you: remove the weapons,” Zelensky implored the fighters.

— Liveuamap (@Liveuamap) October 26, 2019
Once video of the stormy confrontation spread across Ukrainian social media channels, Zelensky became the target of an angry backlash.

Andriy Biletsky, the proudly fascist Azov Battalion leader who once pledged to “lead the white races of the world in a final crusade…against Semite-led Untermenschen”, vowed to bring thousands of fighters to Zolote if Zelensky pressed any further. Meanwhile, a parliamentarian from the party of former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko openly fantasized about Zelensky being blown to bits by a militant’s grenade.

Though Zelensky achieved a minor disengagement, the neo-Nazi paramilitaries escalated their “No Capitulation” campaign. And within months, fighting began to heat up again in Zolote, sparking a new cycle of violations of the Minsk Agreement.

By this point, Azov had been formally incorporated into the Ukrainian military and its street vigilante wing, known as the National Corps, was deployed across the country under the watch of the Ukrainian Interior Ministry, and alongside the National Police. In December 2021, Zelensky would be seen delivering a “Hero of Ukraine” award to a leader of the fascistic Right Sector in a ceremony in Ukraine’s parliament.

A full-scale conflict with Russia was approaching, and the distance between Zelensky and the extremist paramilitaries was closing fast.

This February 24, when Russian President Vladimir Putin sent troops into Ukrainian territory on a stated mission to “demilitarize and denazify” the country, US media embarked on a mission of its own: to deny the power of neo-Nazi paramilitaries over the country’s military and political sphere. As the US government-funded National Public Radio insisted, “Putin’s language [about denazification] is offensive and factually wrong.”

In its bid to deflect from the influence of Nazism in contemporary Ukraine, US media has found its most effective PR tool in the figure of Zelensky, a former TV star and comedian from a Jewish background. It is a role the actor-turned-politician has eagerly assumed.

But as we will see, Zelensky has not only ceded ground to the neo-Nazis in his midst, he has entrusted them with a front line role in his country’s war against pro-Russian and Russian forces.

The president’s Jewishness as Western media PR device

Hours before President Putin’s February 24 speech declaring denazification as the goal of Russian operations, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky “asked how a people who lost eight million of its citizens fighting Nazis could support Nazism,” according to the BBC.

Raised in a non-religious Jewish family in the Soviet Union during the 1980’s, Zelensky has downplayed his heritage in the past. “The fact that I am Jewish barely makes 20 in my long list of faults,” he joked during a 2019 interview in which he declined to go into further detail about his religious background.

Today, as Russian troops bear down on cities like Mariupol, which is effectively under the control of the Azov Battalion, Zelensky is no longer ashamed to broadcast his Jewishness. “How could I be a Nazi?” he wondered aloud during a public address. For a US media engaged in an all-out information war against Russia, the president’s Jewish background has become an essential public relations tool.

Watch left & right wing factions of MSM unite to declare any allegations of Nazism in Ukraine to be Russian fake news because President Zelensky is Jewish. — Alex Rubinstein (@RealAlexRubi) February 28, 2022
A few examples of the US media’s deployment of Zelensky as a shield against allegations of rampant Nazism in Ukraine are below (see mash-up above for video):

  • PBS NewsHour noted Putin’s comments on denazification with a qualifier: “even though President Volodymyr Zelensky is Jewish and his great uncles died in the Holocaust.”
  • On Fox & Friends, former CIA officer Dan Hoffman declared that “it’s the height of hypocrisy to call the Ukrainian nation to denazify — their president is Jewish after all.”
  • On MSNBC, Virginia Democratic Senator Mark Warner said Putin’s “terminology, outrageous and obnoxious as it is — ‘denazify’ where you’ve got frankly a Jewish president in Mr. Zelensky. This guy [Putin] is on his own kind of personal jihad to restore greater Russia.”
  • Republican Sen. Marsha Blackburn said on Fox Business she’s “been impressed with President Zelensky and how he has stood up. And for Putin to go out there and say ‘we’re going to denazify’ and Zelensky is Jewish.”
  • In an interview with CNN’s Wolf Blitzer, Gen. John Allen denounced Putin’s use of the term, “de-Nazify” while the newsman and former Israel lobbyist shook his head in disgust. In a separate interview with Blitzer, the so-called “Ukraine whistleblower” and Ukraine-born Alexander Vindman grumbled that the claim is “patently absurd, there’s really no merit… you pointed out that Volodymyr Zelensky is Jewish… the Jewish community [is] embraced. It’s central to the country and there is nothing to this Nazi narrative, this fascist narrative. It’s fabricated as a pretext.”
Behind the corporate media spin lies the complex and increasingly close relationship Zelensky’s administration has enjoyed with the neo-Nazi forces invested with key military and political posts by the Ukrainian state, and the power these open fascists have enjoyed since Washington installed a Western-aligned regime through a coup in 2014.

In fact, Zelensky’s top financial backer, the Ukrainian Jewish oligarch Igor Kolomoisky, has been a key benefactor of the neo-Nazi Azov Battalion and other extremists militias.

National-Corps-Telegram-3.jpg

Backed by Zelensky’s top financier, neo-Nazi militants unleash a wave of intimidation

Incorporated into the Ukrainian National Guard, the Azov Battalion is considered the most ideologically zealous and militarily motivated unit fighting pro-Russian separatists in the eastern Donbass region.

With Nazi-inspired Wolfsangel insignia on the uniforms of its fighters, who have been photographed with Nazi SS symbols on their helmets, Azov “is known for its association with neo-Nazi ideology…[and] is believed to have participated in training and radicalizing US-based white supremacy organizations,” according to an FBI indictment of several US white nationalists that traveled to Kiev to train with Azov.

Igor Kolomoisky, a Ukrainian energy baron of Jewish heritage, has been a top funder of Azov since it was formed in 2014. He has also bankrolled private militias like the Dnipro and Aidar Battalions, and has deployed them as a personal thug squad to protect his financial interests.

In 2019, Kolomoisky emerged as the top backer of Zelensky’s presidential bid. Though Zelensky made anti-corruption the signature issue of his campaign, the Pandora Papers exposed him and members of his inner circle stashing large payments from Kolomoisky in a shadowy web of offshore accounts.

When Zelensky took office in May 2019, the Azov Battalion maintained de facto control of the strategic southeastern port city of Mariupol and its surrounding villages. As Open Democracy noted, “Azov has certainly established political control of the streets in Mariupol. To maintain this control, they have to react violently, even if not officially, to any public event which diverges sufficiently from their political agenda.”

Attacks by Azov in Mariupol have included assaults on “feminists and liberals” marching on International Women’s Day among other incidents.

In March 2019, members of the Azov Battalion’s National Corps attacked the home of Viktor Medvedchuk, the leading opposition figure in Ukraine, accusing him of treason for his friendly relations with Vladimir Putin, the godfather of Medvedchuk’s daughter.

Zelensky’s administration escalated the attack on Medvedchuk, shuttering several media outlets he controlled in February 2021 with the open approval of the US State Department, and jailing the opposition leader for treason three months later. Zelensky justified his actions on the grounds that he needed to “fight against the danger of Russian aggression in the information arena.”

Next, in August 2020, Azov’s National Corps opened fire on a bus containing members of Medvedchuk’s party, Patriots for Life, wounding several with rubber-coated steel bullets.

Zelensky failed to rein in neo-Nazis, wound up collaborating with them

Following his failed attempt to demobilize neo-Nazi militants in the town of Zolote in October 2019, Zelensky called the fighters to the table, telling reporters “I met with veterans yesterday. Everyone was there – the National Corps, Azov, and everyone else.”

A few seats away from the Jewish president was Yehven Karas, the leader of the neo-Nazi C14 gang.

Zelensky-Karas.jpeg

Zelensky meets with “veterans” including Yehven Karas (far right) and Dmytro Shatrovsky, an Azov Battalion leader (bottom left).

During the Maidan “Revolution of Dignity” that ousted Ukraine’s elected president in 2014, C14 activists took over Kiev’s city hall and plastered its walls with neo-Nazi insignia before taking shelter in the Canadian embassy.

As the former youth wing of the ultra-nationalist Svoboda Party, C14 appears to draw its name from the infamous 14 words of US neo-Nazi leader David Lane: “We must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children.”

By offering to carry out acts of spectacular violence on behalf of anyone willing to pay, the hooligans have fostered a cozy relationship with various governing bodies and powerful elites across Ukraine.

C14 neo-Nazi gang offers to carry out violence-for-hire: “C14 works for you. Help us keep afloat, and we will help you. For regular donors, we are opening a box for wishes. Which of your enemies would you like to make life difficult for? We’ll try to do that.”
A March 2018 report by Reuters stated that “C14 and Kiev’s city government recently signed an agreement allowing C14 to establish a ‘municipal guard’ to patrol the streets,” effectively giving them the sanction of the state to carry out pogroms.

As The Grayzone reported, C14 led raid to “purge” Romani from Kiev’s railway station in collaboration with the Kiev police.

Not only was this activity sanctioned by the Kiev city government, the US government itself saw little problem with it, hosting Bondar at an official US government institution in Kiev where he bragged about the pogroms. C14 continued to receive state funding throughout 2018 for “national-patriotic education.”

Karas has claimed that the Ukrainian Security Serves would “pass on” information regarding pro-separatist rallies “not only [to] us, but also Azov, the Right Sector and so on.”

“In general, deputies of all factions, the National Guard, the Security Service of Ukraine and the Ministry of Internal Affairs work for us. You can joke like that,” Karas said.

Throughout 2019, Zelensky and his administration deepened their ties with ultra-nationalist elements across Ukraine.

Just days after Zelensky’s meeting with Karas and other neo-Nazi leaders in November 2019, Oleksiy Honcharuk – then the Prime Minister and deputy head of Zelensky’s presidential office – appeared on stage at a neo-Nazi concert organized by C14 figure and accused murderer Andriy Medvedko.

Zelensky’s Minister for Veterans Affairs not only attended the concert, which featured several antisemitic metal bands, she promoted the concert on Facebook.

Also in 2019, Zelensky defended Ukrainian footballer Roman Zolzulya against Spanish fans taunting him as a “Nazi.” Zolzulya had posed beside photos of the World War II-era Nazi collaborator Stepan Bandera and openly supported the Azov Battalion. Zelensky responded to the controversy by proclaiming that all of Ukraine backed Zolzulya, describing him as “not only a cool football player but a true patriot.”

In November 2021, one of Ukraine’s most prominent ultra-nationalist militiamen, Dmytro Yarosh, announced that he had been appointed as an advisor to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Yarosh is an avowed follower of the Nazi collaborator Bandera who led Right Sector from 2013 to 2015, vowing to lead the “de-Russification” of Ukraine.

A month later, as war with Russia drew closer, Zelensky awarded Right Sector commander Dmytro Kotsyubaylo the “Hero of Ukraine” commendation. Known as “Da Vinci,” Kosyubaylo keeps a pet wolf in his frontline base, and likes to joke to visiting reporters that his fighters “feed it the bones of Russian-speaking children.”

Ukrainian state-backed neo-Nazi leader flaunts influence on the eve of war with Russia

On February 5, 2022, only days before full-scale war with Russia erupted, Yevhen Karas of the neo-Nazi C14 delivered a stem-winding public address in Kiev intended to highlight the influence his organization and others like it enjoyed over Ukrainian politics.

“LGBT and foreign embassies say ‘there were not many Nazis at Maidan, maybe about 10 percent of real ideological ones,’” Karas remarked. “If not for those eight percent [of neo-Nazis] the effectiveness [of the Maidan coup] would have dropped by 90 percent.”

The 2014 Maidan “Revolution of Dignity” would have been a “gay parade” if not for the instrumental role of neo-Nazis, he proclaimed.

Karas went on to opine that the West armed Ukrainian ultra-nationalists because “we have fun killing.” He also fantasized about the balkanization of Russia, declaring that it should be broken up into “five different” countries.

“If we get killed…we died fighting a holy war”

When Russian forces entered Ukraine this February 24, encircling the Ukrainian military in the east and driving towards Kiev, President Zelensky announced a national mobilization that included the release of criminals from prison, among them accused murderers wanted in Russia. He also blessed the distribution of arms to average citizens, and their training by battle-hardened paramilitaries like the Azov Battalion.

With fighting underway, Azov’s National Corps gathered hundreds of ordinary civilians, including grandmothers and children, to train in public squares and warehouses from Kharviv to Kiev to Lviv.

On February 27, the official Twitter account of the National Guard of Ukraine posted video of “Azov Fighters” greasing their bullets with pig fat to humiliate Russian Muslim fighters from Chechnya.

A day later, the Azov Battalion’s National Corps announced that the Azov Battalion’s Kharkiv Regional Police would begin using the city’s Regional State Administration building as a defense headquarters. Footage posted to Telegram the following day shows the Azov-occupied building being hit by a Russian airstrike.

Besides authorizing the release of hardcore criminals to join the battle against Russia, Zelensky has ordered all males of fighting age to remain in the country. Azov militants have proceeded to enforce the policy by brutalizing civilians attempting to flee from the fighting around Mariupol.

According to one Greek resident in Mariupol recently interviewed by a Greek news station, “When you try to leave you run the risk of running into a patrol of the Ukrainian fascists, the Azov Battalion,” he said, adding “they would kill me and are responsible for everything.”

Footage posted online appears to show uniformed members of a fascist Ukrainian militia in Mariupol violently pulling fleeing residents out of their vehicles at gunpoint.

Other video filmed at checkpoints around Mariupol showed Azov fighters shooting and killing civilians attempting to flee.

On March 1, Zelensky replaced the regional administrator of Odessa with Maksym Marchenko, a former commander of the extreme right Aidar Battalion, which has been accused of an array of war crimes in the Donbass region.

Meanwhile, as a massive convoy of Russian armored vehicles bore down on Kiev, Yehven Karas of the neo-Nazi C14 posted a video on YouTube from inside a vehicle presumably transporting fighters.

“If we get killed, it’s fucking great because it means we died fighting a holy war,” Karas exclaimed. ”If we survive, it’s going to be even fucking better! That’s why I don’t see a downside to this, only upside!”

Jimmy Dore and Max Blumental give a history lesson about the extent of the nazi push in Maidan and later in the government of Ukraine, along the explanation of the guy you see in the YT vid.
"Without us Maidan would have been a gay parade". Plausible if you saw the gay-erotic clip of Zelenski, Volodymyr Zelensky the Ukrainian president in transvestite dance . Azov dissed Zelensky when he asked them to retreat from the Donbass front, but uses his Jewishness to deny their nazi-ism.
Sort of fits with Thorbiorns post. Good as a counter narrative in discussions.

“Despite the provocations of Ukrainian nationalists in the direction of humanitarian corridors, the Donetsk People’s Republic evacuated more than 300 people from Mariupol and the settlements of its suburban zone to the Novoazovsky district,” the DPR Defense Headquarters reported.
On the other hand, the Ukrainian side refused to guarantee a ceasefire regime in the cities of Mariupol and Volnovakha, according to the representative of the People’s Militia of the Donetsk People’s Republic Eduard Basurin.
“No, the Ukrainian side refused to guarantee the ceasefire regime,” Basurin claimed.

However, the local authorities in Mariupol decided to let people out of the city along the humanitarian corridor, which was established along the Mariupol – Portovskoye – Mangush – Republic – Rozovka – Pologi – Orekhov – Zaporizhya route.
Three evacuation points have been established in the city:
  • Sport Complex Ilyichevets, Nakhimov Avenue, 53.
  • Drama Theater, Theater Square, 1.
  • The Kalmius District Administration, Metallurgov Avenue, 193.
The ceasefire regime should last from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. local time.
On March 5, the first attempt to evacuate civilians from Mariupol and Volnovakha failed.
Eduard Basurin, Deputy head of the People’s Militia Department of the DPR, said that the humanitarian corridor for evacuation was opened in the eastern direction along the M23 Mariupol – Novoazovsk and Volnovakha – Rybinsk highways. However, the Ukrainian authorities have stated that they intend to evacuate the population to Zaporozhye. Today, the route to Zaporizhia should be secured by the DPR forces. The Mariupol City Council announced that the evacuation of civilians from the city was postponed for security reasons. The Ukrainian soldiers warned civilians not to leave the city, claiming that the Russian opened fire.
According to some unconfirmed claims by the locals, the first buses with civilians which tried to use the humanitarian corridor on March 5 were targeted and turned back to the city. However, it was not clear who opened fire.
On the night of March 6, the DPR forces destroyed the 36th marine brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine which was deployed on the front lines between Mariupol and Volnovakha, where the humanitarian corridor passed. Most of the Ukrainian personnel were killed, the others retreated to Mariupol, according to the DPR military officials.

The delay in the assault on the city of Mariupol and the postponement of humanitarian procedures were used by Ukrainian forces, who tried to send military reinforcements to support the nationalist battalions in the city.

On March 6, the DPR units destroyed another military column of the Armed Forces of Ukraine which was heading towards the Mariupol front lines. Multiple heavy military equipment, including three Hurricane MLRS were seized or destroyed.

Information about the mining of residential buildings by Azov militants on the streets in the center of Mariupol, in the areas of park zones on Moskovskaya Street and Pobedy Avenue was confirmed.

Nationalist battalions installed about 10 thousand of PFM-1 mines, according to the representative of the People’s Militia of the Donetsk People’s Republic Eduard Basurin.

Grenades with strip wires were spotted on the streets in the areas left by the UAF forces in the southern cities of Ukraine. For example, in Kherson:

On March 5, a multi-storey building was reportedly blown up in the center of Mariupol by members of the so-called territorial defense, probably in an attempt to disrupt the evacuation of civilians. About 200 people were trapped in the basement.

On March 4, DPR forces shared a video from the base of the Right Sector in the village of Berdyansk, in the Mariupol region, where Ukrainian nationalists manufactured explosive devices, including 60 mm mines, prohibited by the Minsk agreements, and IEDs.

UKRAINE REPORTEDLY WAS CLOSE TO OBTAINING NUCLEAR WEAPONS WHEN RUSSIA DECIDED TO ACT

Ukraine Reportedly Was Close To Obtaining Nuclear Weapons When Russia Decided To Act
ILLUSTRATIVE IMAGE
Ukraine was secretly developing nuclear weapons and it was close to obtaining them, Russian media reported on March 6 citing a source with knowledge of the situation in Russian security structures.
According to the report, the words of Vladimir Zelensky in Munich about the nuclear status of Ukraine were not accidental, it could become a reality in the very near future.
“Zelensky’s statement at the Munich Security Conference in February about the possibility of acquiring a nuclear status for Ukraine was not accidental. Immediately after joining the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons as a non-nuclear state in 1994, Ukraine began to carry out R&D in order to form a technological basis for the possible creation of their own nuclear weapons,” RIA Novosti quoted the source.
According to the source, these works got a clearly expressed practical orientation and growing activity in 2014 on the order of Petro Poroshenko, who then served as Ukrainian President.
“Thus, the data available in the SVR [Foreign Intelligence Service] testify that R&D on the creation of a nuclear explosive device, which could later be used in the design of nuclear warheads, was carried out both in uranium and plutonium areas. The scientific community of Ukraine has sufficient competencies to create a device both “implosive” and “cannon” type,” the source said.
The source noted that Ukraine could also covertly acquire technology from the West for centrifuge enrichment of uranium and laser isotope separation.
Plutonium of the required quality was reportedly obtained from foreign states.
“According to available information, the United States has already transferred this material to its partners. There is reason to believe that in the “Ukrainian case” it was not without the participation of Washington,” the source said.
According to the source, the key role in the creation of a nuclear explosive device was assigned to the National Scientific Center “Kharkov Institute of Physics and Technology”. Assistance to scientists in the development of methods for the separation of isotopes of nuclear materials was provided by specialized structures of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, in particular, the Institute for Nuclear Research and the Institute of Organic Chemistry located in Kyiv.
Russian forces involved in the advance near Kyiv:

The Institute for Nuclear Safety Problems in Chernobyl, the State Scientific and Technical Center for Nuclear and Radiation Safety in Kyiv and the Institute for Condensed System Physics in Lviv also participated in the work.
As a site for the development of nuclear weapons, Kyiv used the zone of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant.
“It was there, judging by the available information, that work was underway both on the manufacture of a “dirty” bomb and on the separation of plutonium,” RIA Novosti quotes the source.
The increased radiation background natural for the Chernobyl zone was used to cover this work.
On top of these in recent years, Kyiv has been actively interested in the topic of uranium enrichment and development of means to deliver nuclear weapons (i.e. missiles).
According to the source, Kyiv “covers” most of these developments by implementing joint projects with other countries. For example, in December 2013, Ukraine reached an agreement on cooperation in the rocket sphere with Turkey.
“The Ukrainian rocket and space enterprises Yuzhmashzavod and Yuzhnoye Design Bureau, which previously participated in the creation of the Soviet nuclear missile arsenal, had to play the main role in it,” the source said.
According to the source, the main goal of this cooperation was the creation of a mobile complex equipped with a solid-propellant ballistic missile with a range of up to 1,500 km.

Yuzhmashzavod is also involved in the development of the Grom-2 mobile ground-based missile system at the expense of Saudi Arabia. In the export version, Grom-2, according to Kyiv claims, will have a range of up to 280 km.
The report said that, according to experts, it is possible to modernize the aforementioned missile system in order to increase its firing range over 500 km (according to some estimates up to 1000 km). Since 2017, the Alibey missile range in the Odessa region was used to conduct flight tests of this missile technology.
“…Ukraine has been consistently moving towards the formation of all the necessary conditions for creating its own nuclear weapons,” the source said.
“According to the conclusion of Western experts, the Kyiv regime was closest to the creation of a nuclear explosive device based on plutonium due to its covert production from spent nuclear fuel stored in the country,” the source said.
The source emphasized that “Ukrainian specialists could produce such a device within a few months.”
“The implementation by Kiev of its extremely dangerous nuclear Ukraine project could become a reality in the very near future,” the source stressed, adding that the negative consequences of this development can hardly be overestimated.

Sparta destroyed Ukrainian battle tanks around Volnovakha:

Meanwhile, the Russian Defense Ministry released an update on the military operation in Ukraine:
  • Forces of the Lugansk People’s Republic took control of the settlements of RUBTSY, KARPOVKA, MAKEEVKA, NOVOLOBOVKA, LIPOVOE, MIDDLE, GREEN DOLINA, ZAKABLUKHOVKA.
  • Units of the Donetsk People’s Republic established control over the settlements of PEREDOVOE, KARIERNOE and RAVNOPOL.
  • Forces of the Donetsk People’s Republic are conducting successful offensive operations on the western and northwestern outskirts of the city of MARIUPOL. The residential area ‘Stariy Krym’ was taken under control.
  • Units of the Russian Armed Forces took control of the settlements of PRIYUTNOE, ZAVITNE-BAZHANNE, STAROMLYNOVKA, OCTOBER and NOVOMAYSKOE.
  • On the evening of March 5, a massive strike was delivered targeting 61 objects of the military infrastructure of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This included 22 units of weapons and military equipment in an underground shelter, a brigade command post, 9 ammunition depots and 3 radar posts.
  • On the morning of March 6, a long-range high-precision strike hit the airfield of the Ukrainian Air Force in STAROKONSTANTYNOV. It was put out of action.
  • Over the past day, fighter aircraft and air defense of the Russian Aerospace Forces shot down four Su-27 and one MiG-29 aircraft in Zhitomir area, Su-27 and Su-25 in Radomyshlya area, one Su-25 in NEZHIN area, two Mi-8 helicopters in Kyiv as well as six unmanned aerial vehicles, including Bayraktar TB-2.
  • Bomber and assault aircraft hit 3 Buk M1 anti-aircraft missile systems and 3 radar stations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
  • A missile strike also destroyed a S-300 anti-aircraft missile system.
  • As of now, a total of 2,203 military infrastructure facilities of Ukraine were targeted. Among them: 76 command posts and communication centers, 111 S-300, Buk M-1 and Osa anti-aircraft missile systems, as well as 71 radar stations.
  • Russian forces destroyed: 69 aircraft on the ground and 24 aircraft in the air, 778 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 77 multiple launch rocket systems, 279 field artillery pieces and mortars, 553 units of special military vehicles, as well as 62 unmanned aerial vehicles.
Additionally, the evacuation of civilians from Mariupol city was resumed on March 6. A day ago, on March 5, Kiev forces already sabotaged the withdrawal of civilians from the area. Therefore, a new round of provocations is expected. Units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and nationalist battalions blocked in Mariupol are not interested in evacuation of civilians because they use them as human shields.
DPR forces captured rocket launchers and destroyed a group of Kiev forces near Mariupol:

Maybe a divide between East and West is the best solution. And though it is seen as a punitive strategy now, it will cut down to size the disagreements where this will force each side to be more independent, self sufficient, and accountable - making both sides prosper.

So it would be like a war of division rather than a war of engagement - for a time.

I think the East is growing too fast for the West to keep pace, and this is leading to the West trying to steal, encroach, avial themselves of things they never earned except by invasion.
Fighting seems to exist (for what ever reason) whether it is inside one's head or siblings or among family relatives or any grouping based on language/geography/ideology/religion/race/skin color. Causes are many. For example, 911 came out of nowhere when there is no competition for the USA. Same with WW I , a war over some diplomat's murder or west arming a lunatic in Germany for WW II. Layers of players, agendas and narrations doesn't explain the basic reasons for the war or human behavior.

Unless we all understand the hidden causes of these, we may never be able to stop it. There are higher density denizens who can create all sorts of hidden causes through humans so that we kill each other with one pretext or other, so that they will extract rent for the life on this planet they controlled. Let's hope the level playing ground will bring some balance.

I watched yesterday this interview where Gerald Celente talks to US citizen residing in East Ukraine, Russell Bentley:
They talk at the beginning about the MSM narrative, how it's 180 degree from the truth, as shown many times already how in reality Russians are being patient and trying to avoid as much civilian casualties as possible. Also discuss the basic stuff of how the situation developed from 2014, with US involvement in the coup and arming Ukraine afterwards etc.
At 11:00 he says that few days ago Azov battalion Nazis had declined to take orders from Ukraine military leadership, and Ukrainian general had went to their headquarters at Southwest Mariupol, and ended up getting murdered by them. After that the Ukrainian army shot a missile to the Azov HQ.
I thought this is a good interview and thank you for the summary. Now Neo-Nazi's and Uki army are fighting with each other and destroying themselves. Now Ne-Nazi's have 2 enemies Russian as well as Ukraine Armies. This is good at the end , sadly it is the people in between suffer badly in this chaos.

Haven't seen this posted here but Visa and MasterCard supposedly stopped all activities in Russia.

Russia will need to pivot to an alternative and that looks like the Chinese owned Unionpay which accounts for the 3rd largest market share.
Yes, Visa and Mastercard have officially announced that they will suspend their activities in Russia for 4 days.

But still, even after V and M leave Russia, their cards will still CONTINUE to work INSIDE Russia until their expiration date, since inside the country they work through the national payment system.
As I already wrote, there is already a replacement for Visa and Mastercard - this is the MIR payment system, it occupied 30% of the Russian market in 2021. In addition, the Chinese Union Pay has been operating in Russia for several years, but few people have used it to this day.
Already today there was news that three large Russian banks (Sberbank, Alfa-Bank, Tinkoff) are going to issue dual bank cards based on the MIR and Union Pay payment systems. With such a MIR / Union Pay card, it will be possible to pay without problems outside of Russia, including countries such as the USA and Britain.

In other news: after Microsoft, Adobe and others stopped their sales in Russia, the Russian authorities canceled the blocking of the pirate tracker RuTracker.org (where you can download hacked versions of Windows, Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and more, Hollywood movies, TV shows).

There were many reason to keep Ukraine in a constant destabilized state since the 1990's, it's easier to steal. Much of what is worth stealing there is underground. Poor Joe and son will need to look for pirate deals somewhere else now.

The following is not a fake news story. It's simply an admission that lying is also a journalistic skill. This worked great with NYT's coverage of Iraq prior to invasion.

Here is Mearsheimer defending its use in the case of Iraqi during Bush Jr. administration. Notice how he describes these lies because it is typical DC double talk.
