Putin Recognizes Donbass Republics, Sends Russian Military to 'Denazify' Ukraine

Today is the 8-year anniversary of the agreement between president Yanukovych and the leaders of the EuroMaidan opposition - brokered by Poland, Germany and the EU - in which Yanukovych agreed to call an early election that year. The following day, February 22nd 2014, snipers (later found to have been hired from Georgi, almost certainly by the CIA) opened fire on protesters in Kiev and Yanukovych fled from Kiev.

Do you think Putin was trying to make a point?!

The commentator is misinformed in his overall view of who is the aggressor but he makes a good point. Germany is reluctant to "help" Ukraine as it needs the cheap gas from Russia. Germany decommissioned half its nuclear power stations! So Germany might be a sticking point to Western efforts of starting a war with Russia? Interesting...

The war is over!
I agree only partially. The civil war in Ukraine is not ending, but on the contrary will expand geographically. The current conflict in the Donbas has moved to a different status, but it is not over. The civil war is likely to spread to other regions of Ukraine, so it's too early to close this topic.

Unconfirmed but there are some videos showing movement of hardware and personnel into the DPR from Russia. Video is in foreign language so not entirely sure if true as it's also quite dark to make out what is moving.
