Quite amazing how many war harpies are going to visit at the moment.
We have the German defence minister, Christina Lambrecht,
who arrived in Ukraine 5 days ago.
German Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht arrived to Odessa, Ukraine, on an unannounced visit Saturday and met with her Ukrainian counterpart, Alexey Reznikov, promising to deliver IRIS-T SLM air defense systems to Ukraine 'in the coming' days.
As reported by the Welt TV channel, Lambrecht noted that Kiev is facing significant amounts of air attacks, reiterating the importance of providing air defense support.
"We will support our friends for as long as it takes," the German Defense Ministry said on Twitter.
Then we have the German head of the parliamentary defence committee, Marie-Agnès Strack-Zimmermann,
who arrived yesterday for a 2 day visit.
"We have arrived in Kiev. We are on site, trying to understand the situation and its needs, communicating with politicians and the government, as well as soldiers. It is important. Germany must increase its support," he has asserted shortly after his arrival in a message broadcast via his Twitter account.
Strack-Zimmermann plans to address the needs of the Ukrainian army to increase pressure on Chancellor Olaf Scholz regarding the supply of weapons and tanks.
In the above, it is written 'he' and 'his', but it concerns Marie-Agnes.
On top of it there is the old war harpy, Samantha Power, who is now head of the CIA front USAID and
she arrived yesterday in Kiev, coinciding with the German, Marie-Agnes mentioned above.
The head of USAID said this during the briefing after the visit to Kyiv.
“With regard to my own experience, prior to joining first, the Obama Administration, now the Biden Administration, I was a war correspondent. I've documented war crimes and atrocities all around the world, in different phases of my career and in different ways. What I have never seen before is atrocities being committed at scale by a country whose military is that of a superpower. So it's to combine such sizable military power with such brutal and inhumane, atrocious, indifference to human life. It's that combination that has been so ghastly to behold,” she said.
Although, Samantha Power has a lot of experience with war crimes, as she has been instigating a lot of them, I am inclined to consider her statement just a little biased and more akin to wise-acreing, blowing smoke and hoping the wind will create the right smoke signals from it for the war effort ;)
On a more serious note, I find it curious the amount of traffic there is from Western politicians going to Ukraine. It is interesting how so many women in the West are sitting in the positions of power and advocating for sending a lot of men to war. The word misogyny is well known, less known is the counterpart word,
misandry (hatred of men). Would all these women be equally happy if it was women who were sent in the tens of thousands to die every month on the battlefields in Ukraine? If one considers psychopathy as the underlying factor, then the answer is probably yes, but the millions of female supporters of the war at home, might see it differently.
