Putin Recognizes Donbass Republics, Sends Russian Military to 'Denazify' Ukraine

Part of the official statement of the Russian Ministry of Defence (26.11.2022):

One example of such research is work being done in the United States to improve the pathogenic qualities of the pathogen COVID-19.

◽In October, for example, Boston University developed a synthetic coronavirus pathogen based on the Omicron strain and the original 'Wuhan' variety.

◽The modified virus acquired by the Americans killed 80% of infected model animals, causing abnormal neurological signs and significant lung damage. Antibody testing revealed an 11-fold decline in their capacity to neutralize the new virus, as well as the ineffectiveness of current vaccinations.

◽Despite the fact that the US Department of Health and Human Services has decided to investigate the university’s management, the 'Boston experiment' highlights the lack of government oversight of genetic engineering and synthetic biology research in the USA.

◽Despite the substantial biological dangers, the research was conducted with US government money and without the necessary authorisation from the national biosafety agency.

If anyone is interested, the Saker has a transcript of Putin's meeting with soldiers' mothers. There are some interesting stories from them in there.

Putin speaks at length with these women and addresses their questions about practicalities like equipment and uniforms, entitlement to benefits etc. in detail. It is clear that he prioritises the lives of their sons and truly appreciates their sacrifices. He explains that he has spoken with many of them personally.

As ever, Putin gives the impression that he is in a whole class of his own in comparison to leaders in the West. Years of watching them evade questions and avoid uncontrolled interaction with their furious citizens has instilled a deep cynicism and disillusionment here. Putin looks citizens in the eyes and connects with them. I truly get the impression that he cares, that lives are precious to him. This is the detail that is missing from so much of the analysis of Russia's military operation.

One quote from Putin (other than those which have already been shared here) stood out

But you know what comes to my mind, I already mentioned it once. We have about 30 thousand people killed in road accidents, about the same amount from alcohol. And it happens, unfortunately, this is how life develops, life is complex and diverse, more complicated than it is written somewhere in the papers, we are all under the Lord, under Allah, under Christ, I do not know, everyone who believes in higher powers, it does not matter what religion he adheres to, it is important that that we are all mortal, we are all under the Lord. And we will all leave this world someday, it’s inevitable.

The question is how we lived. After all, some people live or don’t live – it’s unclear, and how they leave – from vodka or something else – it’s unclear, and then they left. Lived or did not live – it also slipped unnoticed somehow: whether a person lived, or not. And your son lived, you know? His goal has been achieved. This means that he did not leave his life in vain. Do you understand? In this sense, of course, his life turned out to be significant, lived with the result, and with the one he aspired to

Imagine Zelensky holding a similar meeting with all the mothers who are demanding to know where their sons have gone, when are they coming back?

Edit - a video of the meeting is available here. It is over 2 hours long and I have not had chance to watch it yet.

It would seem that the US and allied bioweapons research work and intentions was on its own a good enough reason for Russia to do something in Ukraine.
Good post thorbjorn,

I agree with your final statement. I have found that the issue with these biolabs in Ukraine has been one of the most effective pieces of information when dealing with the programmed crowd that hates Russia no matter what. I have found that after we can find "common ground" regarding the insanity of having so many biolabs in Ukraine(and elsewhere), we can start to talk about other issues with this conflict that don't make sense.

Many opportunities to practice external consideration these days. And in the back of my mind, I have this small reminder; "what if they knew about the portals?" ;-)

US biolabs violate safety rules – Russian Defense Ministry

"MOSCOW, November 26. /TASS/. Breaches of safety rules were documented in high-security laboratories at universities of Washington, Minnesota and Illinois, Chief of Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Protection Troops Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov said on Saturday ahead of the Ninth Review Conference of the Biological Weapons Convention (BWC)."

"The general said that it was the conclusion of the US journal The Intercept, which in early November, under the US Freedom of Information Act, analyzed the data from the National Institute of Health related to safety breaches in biolabs in the US. In the past 18 years, more than 5,500 pages of incident reports were examined."

They've stepped in it now. They have pissed off the common Ukrainian woman.

Language WARNING! This woman is NOT HAPPY, and her colorful language would embarrass a sailor. Spoken in Ukrainian, with English subtitles.

Her three main point are: 1) how the rich millionaires of Ukraine are becoming billionaires and sacrificing the poor common people, 2) you need to negotiate, and 3) there will be a day of judgment before God, where your money is worth nothing.

Learning to fight. Now, what was previously considered unbreakable is getting lost.

The Russian military shot down the American Excalibur ammunition, which was considered invulnerable to air defense
Russian air defense destroyed the American Excalibur ammunition right in flight.

If until recently it was believed that Russian air defense systems were completely not designed to combat guided and unguided artillery ammunition, then it became known that the Russian military managed to intercept an American guided projectile on approach to the target. This is recorded for the first time.

"By means of air defense, two HIMARS multiple rocket launchers were shot down near the settlement of Bogdanovka, Kherson region. An Excalibur guided artillery shell was intercepted near the settlement of Miropole, Sumy region," the Russian Defense Ministry reports.

It should be noted that the key difficulty for intercepting such ammunition is their small size and high speed. In particular, the ammunition has a length of less than a meter, and due to the peculiarities of the trajectory, the probability of its detection is extremely small.

To date, there has not been a single evidence that such a munition has ever been intercepted.

During two days of fighting for Bakhmut, the AFU suffered the largest losses in three months
As a result of a sharp counterattack by the Russian military, the AFU suffered the largest losses in three months in Bakhmut.

Over the past 48 hours, the Ukrainian military, currently occupying Bakhmut and its surroundings, have suffered enormous losses. According to Avia journalists. For example, over the past two days, only the number of wounded in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and mercenaries in Bakhmut and its environs exceeds 500 people, while the number of dead can reach 200-300 people. The current losses are the largest known in the ranks of the AFU during the Battle of Bakhmut.

"500 wounded in two days. For today - minus three medical vehicles," Ukrainian sources report.

Given the fact that even Ukrainian information resources report on the extremely difficult situation in Bakhmut, the retreat of the Ukrainian army from this area, in all likelihood, may begin in the very near future, especially given the fact that the Russian military are actually preparing to take the city in a semicircle, cutting off the retreat to the west and blocking the opportunity to counterattack.

Interview of Peter Tolstoy to the French TV channel BFM TV. About the war in Ukraine.
Mastery of Russian diplomacy and Western hypocrisy.

In French:
in Russian:

Sorry if it already was.

Peter Tolstoy - Russian politician and journalist. Representative of the senior count branch of the noble family of Tolstoy. Speaks French:wow:.

upd(auto translate):

Let us quote the most striking parts of this long interview, translated from French.

Tolstoy: “Russia is not hitting social facilities, we are hitting infrastructure, and it will be destroyed. Ukraine will be sent to the 18th century. In Ukraine, the only thing that matters is the help of the West, this is the supply of heavy weapons by the West to Kyiv, and you will pay for this!"

Host: "Are you threatening us, are you saying that Europe will pay for the war?"

Tolstoy: “The West, Europe will pay for the war. It will be expensive, for the middle class, for the European Union, which will face an economic crisis. Your politicians will also pay, who will end up in the dustbin of history for this war. And those in 3-5 years will come to replace them, stand in line for the right to negotiate with Russia ...

“Not we, not Russia started the war. It was you who started the war because no one in the West was interested in our security, our concern was ignored, it was you who brought NATO to our borders. Now we will win the war, we will reach Kyiv, we will reach the border with Poland and invite you all there.

Russia is the largest country, and we fought twice with Europe. Russia ended the first war in Paris, the second - in Berlin. Therefore, when I said that we would finish in Kyiv, I was even more modest.

You will pay for the support of Ukraine, with your economy, souls once a week, inflation, the price of gas, electricity.

Russia is a nuclear power, and you must understand that a nuclear power cannot lose a war.”

Host: "Are you threatening with nuclear weapons?"

Tolstoy: “I am not threatening with nuclear weapons, it was the West that used uranium charges in the bombing of Yugoslavia.

It was you who killed hundreds of thousands of people in the world (Libya, Iraq, Afghanistan) with your pseudo-romantic rhetoric. This war is not for months, so the West better get ready, you will have plenty of time to feel everything.

For eight years, Ukraine has been killing the children of Donbass. All these years, 20 million Russians have been discriminated against in Ukraine, they have been deprived of their history, their language. Do you think this is not suffering?"

Moderator: “During today’s conversation, you frankly expressed your dislike for NATO, the European Union, are your troops going to cross the border with Poland?”

Tolstoy: “Why should we go to Poland? Why? We are not the source of this tension in relations with the West, it is the US and the EU that are sending weapons to Ukraine that are used to strike at our cities.

It's not our fault, it's your fault. Of course, in every war there comes a moment when it is necessary to negotiate, but now, in my opinion, this moment has not yet come.

We are not going to cross the border with Poland, we will leave it to the EU, the European Union will finish Poland faster.”

... The French public reacted very violently and, as can be seen from the comments under the video, with understanding to the assessments and theses of Peter Tolstoy.

The French left about 5600 comments under the video, mostly positive about the Russian guest of the French TV studio.

Video by FoxNews propaganda portrays Putin's current movements as genocidal.

President Biden's administration is scrambling to track the nearly $20 billion in military aid it has sent to Ukraine as Republicans warn of impending audits when they take control of the House in January.

Likely future House Speaker Kevin McCarthy has said his party will not be giving Ukraine a "blank check" to fend off Russia's invasion. A potential audit would determine how much, if any, of the U.S. aid is ending up in the wrong hands. The Biden administration's previous tracking efforts have inspected only a fraction of the aid provided to the country.

The Republican push to ramp up oversight enjoys some bipartisan support in Congress. Some staunch Ukraine allies fear the party will cut off aid to the country entirely, however.

Firebrand Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., has vowed to "hold our government accountable" for Ukraine spending, and some of her colleagues across the aisle are echoing the message.

Language WARNING! This woman is NOT HAPPY, and her colorful language would embarrass a sailor. Spoken in Ukrainian, with English subtitles.
The following with the same person are all in Russian:

TikTok and TikTok and TikTok

For the longer original version of the posted video:
It begins with a clip of Zelensky trying to keep up the fighting spirits of the Ukrainian citizens. There are more than 3000 comments. One woman wrote if translated:
Why do not all Ukrainians think so, but only 1%. Well done, everything is correct and the main thing in the case
It is hard to say how many % see through the lies, but considering the intensity of control and propaganda, it is possible the number is limited. What one perhaps can learn from this is that when the situation in Western countries deteriorates further, the number of people who see what is going on might remain fairly low, even if that small number may be all that is needed to make a difference in the long run.

Others uploads are She explains many of the people in the Ukrainian parliament have gone to the criminal courts.
In this video she claims to have travelled, worked in Poland, and spent a good time in closed prison, apparently one and a half year.

In the next video, she says how she found out Ukraine was going to war, while she was still in prison, why she went out of the country to earn money, and how it happened she lost her illusions about Ukraine and the war.
In she claims that the platform is not primarily political, but the political situation is part of what concerns people at this time.

In one recording she says Putin is the best president in the world, Lukashenko second, but who is Zelensky?

While watching, I thought about the segment of the population, lower middle class women, reading the UK Daily Mail, which sometimes brings views not read by the more intellectual papers. Several of her videos, especially the politically spicy, have hundreds of thousands of views. Besides her rants, there are also words of appreciation, gratitude, faith, compassion, some self-promotion. Judging from comments, It seems her perspectives help some people.

In the past couple of years, some churches have been closed due to COVID. Now there is a new reason, high energy prices.
Sputnik carried Monday morning:
Danish Churches Cancel Services Amid Energy Crunch
gor Kuznetsov

Despite being hailed as Europe’s poster child of green energy, Denmark saw a fivefold year-on-year jump in energy prices earlier this year and was forced to act accordingly, including lowering the heating in public buildings throughout the country and asking Danes to turn down the heat in their homes.

Churches around Denmark have been forced to cancel services because of the ongoing energy crisis.

In the Diocese of Lolland-Falster, all 108 churches have been given permission to move or cancel services to conserve energy, and many have already made use of this arrangement, especially in the sparsely populated countryside.

“It costs a lot of money to heat an old medieval church with electricity,” Bishop Marianne Gaarden told Danish media.

Similar decisions have been made in the dioceses of Aarhus and Viborg, each of which comprises hundreds of churches although church authorities have promised that transport will be arranged for churchgoers who find that they have to travel further to get to a church which is still functioning.

“It is very unusual, but we are also in an unusual situation. In several places, the budget that was available has already been used”, the diocesan bishop of Viborg, Henrik Stubkjaer, said.

Church officials have stressed that the decision to cancel services is a token of solidarity with ordinary Danes, many of whom are already conserving energy.

However, specialists have warned of risks associated with unheated churches. Denmark has about 1,700 churches which are 500 years or older. Although the buildings themselves don’t need heat, the equipment within them does.

“There are wooden fixtures, organs, textiles and paper hymnals, which are items that typically don’t do well with high humidity. And when you don't have heat, it gets humid. The immediate risk is mould, which we've already had trouble with,” Poul Klenz Larsen, a heating, energy and climate consultant at the Church of Denmark, told Danish media, calling it a “health and working environment problem”.
It is a health and working environment problem, because while the churchgoers are free to go, the priest is paid and some rules for his or her working environment may have to be fulfilled. In case of mould the authorities may opt for closing down the building until the problem is solved.
Similar problems have already been reported in Sweden where dozens of churches, especially in the countryside, were temporarily closed because of the inability to provide proper heating.

Denmark is often hailed as the poster child of green energy, where renewables such as wind power account for almost half of overall energy consumption. Nevertheless, amid the crisis that has enveloped Europe as a result of Brussels’ backfiring decision to introduce sanctions against Russia by cutting energy imports in a in a ham-fisted attempt to “punish” it for its special operation in Ukraine, Denmark in August witnessed a fivefold rise in energy prices year-on-year and took steps such as cutting heating in public buildings throughout the country.

Danes have been encouraged to save energy through measures such as turning down the heat, limiting the use of hot water and switching off unnecessary lighting and appliances.

Civil rights and freedoms, freedom of speech in particular? In Canada, the security guards took the journalist out of the hall after his question about Ukraine

Canadian journalist Yves Engler was forced to leave the conference with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister Hristya Freeland after a question about Ukraine. The corresponding publication appeared on his Twitter page.

So, Engler asked why the Canadian government does not call for negotiations between Moscow and Kiev.

"Even the head of the US Armed Forces is calling for negotiations. Do you just want to continue this proxy war?" the journalist said, after which the guards led him out of the hall by the arms.
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau held talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky earlier. The parties discussed further support for the Kiev regime.

Pope Francis: "When I talk about Ukraine, I'm talking about a nation that is martyred. If you have people who are martyrs, you have someone who torments them. As a rule, the most cruel, perhaps those who from Russia, but not from the Russian tradition, such as Chechens, Buryats, and so on."

Maria Zakharova:
Some kind of absurdity: until recently, the West believed that the opposite was true, and the Slavs were torturing the Chechens, now the position has changed by 180 degrees. Liberal humanists played.

I would like to remind the Catholic brothers that the Bible says that all people have one Father. This is the beginning and end of all conversations that have any xenophobic, racist, nationalist or other misanthropic overtones.

Head of the Republic of Buryatia Alexei Tsydenov on the Pope's interview:

“The Russian army, including the soldiers of Buryatia, is protecting their country and the civilian population. The inhabitants of Donbass lived under shelling and died in hundreds for more than 8 years, and they were terrorized by Ukrainian nationalists under the leadership of a criminal regime and curators from "civilized" nations.
And if our soldiers were noticed, it means that they are doing their job well. Guys, we are proud of you! God is with those for whom the truth is!"
