«В России сделан только шлем». В сети критикуют импортную экипировку Дмитрия Рогозина"Only a helmet is made in Russia." The network criticizes the imported equipment of Dmitry Rogozin
The former head of the state corporation "Roscosmos", ex-Deputy Prime Minister for Defense Dmitry Rogozin is in no hurry to boast about the achievements of the national military thought in the Donbass. Until recently, a high–ranking official who came to the front line was equipped with everything imported, except for a helmet - but even though it was made in Russia, it is clearly not affordable for most military personnel (not to mention the mobilized).
An American rifle, a German pistol, a Turkish bulletproof vest – this is how the Cosmos-Sarmat looks today, for which it is criticized in social networks.
"The head of the group of military advisers in the DPR under the pretentious name "Royal Wolves", ex-deputy prime Minister in the Medvedev government, who oversaw the defense industry, ex-head of Roscosmos, mass entertainer on a trampoline and songwriter Dmitry Rogozin is so patriotic that only a helmet is made of all his equipment in Russia... The cost of his equipment, including weapons, is in the region of one million rubles, and you continue to fight in rubber boots and with a helmet "Hood 2.0" on your head, which is a cosmetically corrected Soviet development of the SS-40 model of 1940," writes journalist Dmitry Borisenko on the web.
"Dmitry Olegovich Rogozin, aka "Sarmat", aka "Cosmos", aka "trampoline", is as active as possible in his zone. Unlike many servicemen of the Russian army, judging by the photo, he is armed with an American SCAR-L rifle, a German MP5 submachine gun and a Turkish bulletproof vest. The German Carinthia jacket, which Rogozin is wearing, costs about 60 thousand rubles. Not every Russian serviceman can boast of such equipment," writes another user.
Others clarify that even being so fashionably and qualitatively equipped, Rogozin is in no hurry to be shot.
"For Dmitry Olegovich, they even expel an ACS into the field, from which he sometimes shoots. In the rain, so as not to detect the UAV inadvertently and not strike back. While Dmitry Olegovich is shooting, people are running around the ACS and strenuously filming the "combat work" of a well-equipped Sarmat," social media users say.
Of course, it is difficult to blame a person for striving for a good life, and good clothes in particular. Moreover, it would be naive to expect that Dmitry Olegovich would appear in his own zone in a 1943 helmet with a "mosinka" in his hands. And there would be criticism of social media users, perhaps, not appropriate, if not for one "but". Rogozin oversaw the defense industry for many years. On December 23, 2011, he was appointed Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation. In his post, he oversaw the military-industrial complex, defense orders, national defense, mobilization training, maritime policy, nuclear and rocket and space, shipbuilding, aviation, radio-electronic industry, export control, military-technical cooperation, civil defense, border policy, the Arctic, as well as the construction of the Vostochny cosmodrome. In January 2012, he was also appointed chairman of the Military-Industrial commission under the Government of the Russian Federation. In 2018, Rogozin headed Roscosmos. Taking office, he announced the "10 commandments" of the state corporation, the first of which was "special control over the execution of the state defense order." Dmitry Rogozin left Roscosmos only in the summer of this year. One of the external results of the activities of an official who oversaw the military-industrial complex for many years is obvious – everything, except for the super-expensive helmet on his head, was not produced in Russia.

If we ignore the minor blip of Brexit, this invasion of Ukraine has united Europe (and the UK) like nothing else in recent times and this in turn, along with all the unique characteristics of this war, is creating all sorts of opportunities. Although we failed to respond properly to attacks in Syria and the Yemen we can now see the Ukrainian flag appearing all around the world in all manner of situations, even making it hard for information-controlling governments like the Chinese to keep it hidden. It is also appearing in protests all over Russia. Russia is not the enemy of peace, it’s not even the Russian government or most of the military, it is Vladimir Putin. The UK, having left the EU, is now standing beside its centuries old enemy France, its 20th century nemesis Germany and a big majority of the world’s governments in condemning Putin’s brutal war. There are connections being made, or remade, that need to be explored and harvested while the time is ripe.
Once this brutality stops, let’s give peace a permanent expanded home in this part of the world by sending out our invitations to all the peoples of Europe, alongside all the peoples of the former Soviet Union, to move to create a new stabilising force: a Eur-Russopia, or EUSSR.

Sadly, came across a penned article by the artist, Peter Gabriel (PG):
Out of Ukraine
15th March, 2022
"EUSSR"
PG makes a few points about NATO - "Perhaps one of the West’s greatest recent miscalculations was not to bring Russia closer to Europe and NATO when the gloves were off, as the Soviet Union collapsed, and grab the moment to cement a real alliance. When Putin first came to power he asked for a fast-track to join NATO, a request we were dumb not to have taken seriously."
And then loses the plot (yet it is the plot to dispose of one man):
It is like yellow man bad, it can only be Putin's fault. However, PG then tries to knit it back together again by adding some type of global harmony to the script, as long as the scrip, of course, is without Putin - basically what the globalists want, less the façade of harmony:
Evoking old words like Soviet Union in the context that many do, is a clear sign for people to emote programed fear at the mention. There really is no need to say it when Russia has been Russia for decades.
A month later, one of his old 'hits' Don't Give Up was adapted to the Ukrainian cause. Right, don't give up, the west will send you the arms to achieve the integral nationalists notion of slava ukraini, more and more weapons so that children of Ukraine can become like sacrificial offerings at the alter of Baal.
PG is no Rodger Waters.
Seem to recall Robert Fripp posting a couple of songs in support of Ukraine and lashing out at Putin (Cult of Personality) at the start of the SMO as well - shame given his long following of Gurdieff.Roger Waters definitely has some huge blind spots, but Peter Gabriel is obviously just utterly clueless. Wrong on every level, a complete fantasy detached from even a mainstream assessment of the current geopolitical reality.
I do like early Genesis though, to give everything its due!
