Russia Begins Operations in Syria: End Game for the US Empire?

The Syrian counter attack to reclaim their country continues to roll north while clearing operation south of Bagadad has had jihadis surrendering or running back to their paymasters in Jordan. Those in the Damascus suburbs have been doing the same, but where the walk to Jordan is a bit longer.

If one looks at a map, it is clear that those from the south of Baghdad have a lot longer to walk in order to reach Jordan, than those who are in the suburbs in Damascus. So Jim got it the wrong way around.

THIS incredible video shows a deadly Russian flamethrower missile being fired at Islamic State militants in Vladimir Putin's latest bid to wipe out the evil terror group.

The mobile killing machine – dubbed the 'Blazing Sun' – was sent to Syria last month as the Russian president stepped up his mission to obliterate ISIS.

And the two-minute clip, released by the Syrian army, shows the fearsome weapon in action against the terror group for the first time.

It was fired at ISIS positions in the mountains in the north-east of Latakia, Syria's main port city.

It was fired at ISIS positions in the mountains in the north-east of Latakia, Syria's main port city.

The weapon – also known as the TOS-1A – is thought to be suited to mountain areas and other confined environments such as bunkers and tunnels.

It was first used during the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan in 1988 but only made its public debut during the Second Chechen War in 1999.

Temperatures soar to a staggering 1,000 degrees Celsius at the epicentre of the explosion – burning out atmospheric oxygen and rupturing the lungs of the victims.

A report by the CIA in 1993 warned: "The effect of an FAE [fuel-air explosive] explosion within confined spaces is immense.

"Those near the ignition point are obliterated."

Earlier this year Igor Sevastyanov of Rosoboronexport, Russia's state-owned arms exporter, said: "Russian-made heavy flame-throwing systems are quite popular in the Middle East.

"Their use in Iraq proved that the TOS-1A is perfect for local combat operations to defeat enemy personnel in heavy fortifications."

F-16s Scrambled To Track Down NORAD Surveillance Blimp Which Is Loose Somewhere Over Pennsylvania . . .
http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2015-10-28/f-16s-scrambled-track-down-norad-surveillance-blimp-which-loose-somewhere-over-penns

Dumb question but on the simple "logical" end, "Doesn't the U.S. Military have Space Satellite Surveillance that can track a NORAD Multi-Billion Dollar Blimp, in real time?" One would also logically assume, there is some emergency protocol in place, in the event certain events develop that require retrieval of the object .... or .... better question, "Is it Army protocol to have two State Police Officers using semi-automatic rifles to deflate it?"

Anyways, an update on a local news channel:

Army, State Police Working to Deflate, Remove Blimp
_http://wnep.com/2015/10/29/army-state-police-working-to-deflate-remove-blimp/

The salvage work has begun, trying to get that massive blimp that floated into our area out of the woods in central Pennsylvania.

There is a big military effort to protect and remove the equipment worth tens of millions of dollars.

We were left with plenty of questions after the NORAD blimp from Maryland ended up in Montour County on Wednesday.

The Army and state police worked all day Thursday to collect pieces of the multi-million dollar security system.

If you don't live there, you are not allowed to go through the rural road near Muncy anytime soon. The Army and state police have blocked it off while they work to gather pieces of the blimp.

A piece of the NORAD blimp, still inflated and entangled in the trees was slowly deflated with the help of state troopers.

Neighbors tell us the shots echoed through this rural area near Muncy early Thursday morning.

"I said, 'Well, that sounds like a rifle or maybe shotgun,' and I said, 'I wonder if they are putting holes in that.' And then I heard it again and again and again," said neighbor Ken Hunter.

After breaking free from Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland, the multi-million dollar NORAD blimp eventually descended in two parts near Muncy.

With military helicopters overhead, Capt. Matt Villa from the Army Air and Missile Defense tells Newswatch 16, about 6,000 feet of tether has already been removed.

"We are planning on taking out the tail section, to get that away and then the aerostat deflation is ongoing, and we are making plans for the removal of the equipment down there in the next day or two," said Capt. Villa.

Capt. Villa tells us helicopters could be used to remove the pieces. They still don't know about the condition of the blimp.

"That's all pending," said Capt. Villa. "Getting it out of the woods and seeing how it shows up after that. It's too early to tell at this point."

Military personal tell us it could be up to a week until everything is back to normal in the area.

Pentagon personnel on site to investigate loose blimp
http://www.cnn.com/2015/10/28/politics/loose-blimp-norad-east-coast/

The blimp, associated with NORAD's surveillance of the East Coast, became untethered from its mooring station at the Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland.

The blimp is in two major pieces, split between the tail and the rest of the aerostat, according to Army Capt. Matthew Villa.

He said that officials noticed there was still helium in the nose on Thursday morning, so they decided to shoot it with a shot gun, which Pennsylvania State Police did. It was shot after it crash-landed in order to deflate it.

Villa said all options are being considered for how best to remove it. He added that there was no way to tell if the equipment was still functional until investigators have inspected it.

Raytheon, which produces the JLENS -- short for Joint Land Attack Cruise Missile Defense Elevated Netted Sensor System -- describes the system as two aerostats, or tethered airships, that float 10,000 feet in the air. The helium-filled aerostats, each nearly as long as a football field, carry powerful radars that can protect a territory roughly the size of Texas from airborne threats.

Infighting? White House, Pentagon Divided Over Anti-ISIL Ground Operation
http://sputniknews.com/us/20151028/1029245375/syrian-conflict-us-gain-strategic-advantage.html

The White House and the Pentagon recently revealed discrepancies in their positions over possible US ground operation against ISIL.

While US Secretary of Defense Ashton Carter announced that the US is planning to start a ground operation in Syria and Iraq, White House spokesman Eric Schultz stated on Tuesday that the US authorities are not going to conduct a long-term military campaign in these countries.

Carter assured that the US legislators in Washington are ready to support the Syrian opposition, which is fighting against the ISIL militants, and stressed that the United States is not planning to change its course.

"We won't hold back from supporting capable partners in opportunistic attacks against ISIL, or conducting such missions directly whether by strikes from the air or direct action on the ground," Carter said.

Schultz, on the contrary, said that the US government has "no intention of long term ground combat" and that it will continue its training activities and assistance without direct military involvement.

According to political expert Nikolai Dimlevich, there is a certain game lying behind these statements. The US has lost strategic advantage in the sky and wants to gain it on the ground.

"The situation characterized by the loss of a strategic initiative [after the start of Russia’s successful military operation in Syria] obliges the United States to declare some of their plans," Dimlevich told Radio Sputnik.

“It is important for them not to lose face. From this perspective, Americans are counting not only on the training and arming of Kurdish groups, but also on the involvement of the so-called "opposition" to seize the strategic initiative on the ground in Syria," the analyst explained, adding that such a military involvement of the US would be illegitimate and violate international law.

US, allies gearing up for war with Russia: Analyst (video)
http://www.presstv.com/Detail/2015/10/29/435536/Russia-US-War

The decision by the United States and its allies to deploy more troops and heavy weaponry onto Russia’s borders indicates that Washington is gearing up for a fight with Russia, an American journalist and political activist says.

“They are clearly preparing to fight a war with Russia, and they are not only preparing to fight it at the old battle lines, but at Russia’s door, while they talk about Russia provoking,” Don DeBar said during an interview with Press TV on Thursday.

He made the remarks when asked for his views on Washington’s plans to deploy up to 4,000 more forces in countries bordering with Russia.

The Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday that under one plan, roughly 800 to 1,000 soldiers will be stationed in each of the four battalions to be deployed to Poland, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania.

Russia’s Putin Says Global Warming Is ‘A Fraud’ _http://dailycaller.com/2015/10/29/russias-putin-says-global-warming-is-a-fraud/

Putin’s comments likely came after his staff “did very, very extensive work trying to understand all sides of the climate debate,” according to Andrey Illarionov, Putin’s former senior economic adviser, who’s now a senior fellow at the libertarian Cato Institute.

“We found that, while climate change does exist, it is cyclical, and the anthropogenic role is very limited,” Illarionov said. “It became clear that the climate is a complicated system and that, so far, the evidence presented for the need to ‘fight’ global warming was rather unfounded.”

Actually Putin did not say that. Those are comments from an analyst and Putins former economic adviser...

I think it very well could be, that Putin and his staff think differently about "climate change" behind the scenes, but at this point in time, assuming this to be true, it would not be the best move to come out with it.

The whole world, including russia and the US are officially fighting this "world danger" together and it would be foolish for russia to go against that line at this point I think. Would only fuel the "evil russian" propaganda: "They don't care about the earth and its and our well being!"

The US now officially puts boots on the ground in Syria:

http://edition.cnn.com/2015/10/30/politics/syria-troops-special-operations-forces/index.html

The C's said october is not finished yet and its seems to me, that this move could be another big step of "revealing the man behind the curtain."
US Psychopaths simply can't stop putting the whole world at danger. Luckily russia has a smart and decent leadership that probably already has a plan for this scenario.

I usually take with a grain of salt what Lada Ray says, but I found this pretty interesting. Putin might have several cards up his sleeve.

Syria Op: How REB and RYCHAG keep enemy blind and deaf

REB (Rus: Radio Electronnaya Bor’ba) means ‘Radio Electronic Defence.’ This is a complex of advanced systems that renders targeted weapons useless and spying equipment deaf and blind in the radius of 70-200 and more kilometers, depending on application. RYCHAG is one of the REB-related systems, translated as Lever.

My VIDEO ESR 4. ALIEN TECHNOLOGY & NEW RUSSIAN WEAPONS talks about REB, RYCHAG and many other peerless and one-of-a-kind Russian systems. I wrote that Russians started slowly unveiling their advanced defence projects and weapons as a warning: stop stepping on our toes! As usual, what we are allowed to glimpse is only the tip of the iceberg, as is explained in ESR4.

I wrote in ESR4 that the Russian military had boasted that in a conflict that took place several years ago Russian air force didn’t lose a single jet or pilot, despite enemy’s relentless blanket fire. Meanwhile, the adversary lost much of its combat aircraft, hardware and airfields (plus, a port). The conflict they were talking about was the so-called 08/08/08 four-day war with Georgia after Georgia attacked S. Ossetia. It was later recognized that the reason for such successful and speedy operation was the use of the early prototype of the REB system.

Russian military analysts are now starting to come out with hints and careful admissions regarding the Russian operation is Syria. It has been hinted that RYCHAG is being used there. Remember my recent post: US drone spying on Russian combat mission, filmed by Russian pilot in Syria? These drones can’t get far – and they can’t get any data not for the lack of trying. A single RYCHAG device jams all data and communication from any adversary forces in Syria in the radius of 70 km, or more.

This is the reason US and others are suddenly changing their tune on Syria. Highly successful Russian strikes notwithstanding, the fact that US and others are deaf, blind and powerless is the game changer. Suddenly Kerry and Saudis want to discuss strategy with Lavrov; suddenly Assad isn’t so bad after all.

Incidentally, in Goodbye Harper! Canada Celebrates New PM Trudeau’s Overwhelming Victory and in Canada Follow Up: PM Justin Trudeau’s Shadows, we have discussed Canada’s recent elections. One of the announcements the incoming PM Trudeau has made is that Canadian air force is withdrawing from Syria. This was met with cheers at home. Citizens are overjoyed. This announcement makes Trudeau look good and is convenient to make on the heels of his election. Such announcement confirms expectations and saves face.

But in truth, elections or not, Canada planes would have been forced to leave anyway. But perhaps if Harper stayed, they would have done it secretly, without any pomp. Why? Because of RYCHAG. With RYCHAG, any unauthorized craft, whether belonging to ISIL, US, Canada or any other country, flies blind and deaf, while Russian craft can see and hear everything. The risk is too large and the upside is none. As I said in the Syria Game Changer report, Russia, the only legally present air force, is slowly and quietly squeezing all unauthorized forces from Syria skies.

As explained in Earth Shift Report 5: SYRIA GAME CHANGER Canadian, much like US or any other military, will not risk clashing with Russians in Syria. Israel understood the hint right away and withdrew, agreeing on intel sharing and coordination with Russia. Withdrawal is the best option. It’s just that Canada has had the face-saving elections and US hasn’t yet, which means that very uncomfortable times are upon Washington. USA’s face-saving elections are ahead.

A quick prediction: Just watch how right after the 2016 elections US will start changing its direction, announcing the face-saving withdrawal from Ukraine (consistent with my predictions), and some other places… Well, unless Obama admin is put in such tight spot earlier in the game that it will be forced to announce its withdrawal sooner. In Syria US is already forced to begin playing ball. Ukraine is next.

New intel: cruise missile launch from Caspian

One of many important topics discussed in Syria Game Changer ESR5 is the Russian launch of 26 cruise missiles from Caspian Sea. In the report I wrote that the launch ‘caught US with its pants down and mouth open.’

But there’s more! The US and other intelligence services completely miscalculated and underestimated the capability of these missiles. Based on an export modification sold recently to India, the range was believed to be 300 km, while these particular cruise missiles flew 2500 km to hit their planned targets. First, the precision of the strike means that 2500 km isn’t their limit and they can fly longer distances. But in reality, no one knows what their range is and what they can reach. Total panic and confusion on Capitol Hill, in White House, CIA and Pentagon…

I wrote recently in ESR1 RELOADED: Is Putin Part of NWO that Russia doesn’t share her real plans, intentions or capabilities with anyone any more. There was a time when Gorbachev and Yeltsin openly shared with US and EU way too much. Their naiveté and openness was used to undermine Russia, almost costing them the country.

Presently, we are in a state of the hybrid 4D warfare (more about it in ESR 4). Who in their right mind would share their real capability with potential adversary under such circumstances? Obviously, Russia’s export models and best designs intended for own defence systems are two different things.

As a result, NATO/US/UK military and intelligence are in total confusion. For years, they ran on their old image of Russia, the naive and not very savvy in the ways of the West country they liked to make fun of. Now, they might as well throw out everything they ever knew about Russian defence, and start from scratch. If they had completely miscalculated Caspian missiles, misjudged Caspian Fleet and missed the very Syrian operation, how can they trust any of their intel? If Russians have SUCH cruise missiles installed on dinky little ships in the landlocked sea, what do they have on advanced nuclear subs and flagships?

These, now famous, cruise missiles are installed on very unlikely vessels: relatively small ships, which are part of the landlocked and seemingly inconsequential Caspian Fleet, dealing primarily with coast guard issues. Several years ago there were talks of discontinuing this fleet as an unnecessary expense. Now, looking back, that old debate seems more and more like a decoy, so no one would take it seriously.

But there is more. Neither ships nor missiles of this class are a part of any US-Russia or NATO-Russia treaty. They aren’t regulated by any international body. The shock is obvious: these cruise missiles fly undetected and below the radar both literally and figuratively.

They were part of one of the Soviet projects, shelved during the collapse. It was un-shelved after Putin assumed office. There are lots more advanced Soviet projects where this one came from. As pretty much everyone recognizes, Russians have just lifted the veil enough for us all to peak inside their new advanced programs. But how much haven’t they shown?

[continues...]

One of the main reasons the world will NOT go through the physical carnage of another devastating world war is Russian preparedness. This is the best deterrent against any possible aggressor. It falls to Russia, as the Great Balancer of our planet, to become the Sacred Shield and Sword against any global aggression.

As such, Russia always has to be ready. This is why the image of a soldier, protector and Defender of the Motherland, is so important to Russians.

We all recall the strange case of the USS Donald Cook, dubbed 'Donald Duck,' which had to urgently retire from the vicinity of the Crimea and the Black Sea after it was buzzed by the mysterious Russian device called KHIBINY, rendering the world’s most sophisticated electronic AEGIS system onboard helpless. What is referred to as KHIBINY is an older Soviet device. If you know about KHIBINY, believe me, you know nothing yet!

In this program we will see for ourselves how target cloning works; how Russian subs confuse and disable attack and spy planes; how a single, ordinary-looking all-terrain vehicle can create an invisible shield to protect the entire city against blanket rocket fire; how to make ballistic missiles explode before they reach target, or better yet, how to prevent them from taking off in the first place, thus rendering any missile system obsolete; how a bullet-proof vest could make the bullet change its trajectory and how a target can vanish from radars.

The program includes Russian Army's inside footage and, until recently top-secret demos and live tests; interviews with designers; until recently classified, real names of producers and real names of new Russian weapons, designs of the future, and much, much more!

What appeals to me most is that all designs and weapons you will see are of defensive, or non-offensive, nature. These are not aggressive attack weapons most military documentaries might showcase.

Another thing worth mentioning is the fact that they all seem straight out of Star Trek or a movie about aliens.

Finally, I want to draw your attention to two episodes. One mentions “an undisclosed conflict several years ago.” Per the narrator, throughout that conflict, the Russian army didn’t lose a single plane or helicopter, despite incessant blanket fire from the adversary’s BUK systems. What conflict are they talking about? And how did they avoid any losses?

KHIBINY and the Donald Cook episode are also mentioned, while some interesting details are revealed.

I'm almost tempted to pay for that "Earth Shift Report"

The meeting in Vienna today

I pray that is what is ultimately agreed! Need to wait to see what it is that they still have to agree on. I would be surprised if the psychos actually relented on their mission of destruction. But hey, Russia was invited to the meeting, so here is hoping!

If this can be witnessed by the world to be successfully carried out and fairly rapidly (we know Putin showed the world what rapid is after the UN meeting in New York)!. Then hopefully this can become a BLUEPRINT for aggressor withdrawals from other countries in the near future. We sincerely do hope so.

Is this another 'hit' for Vladimir in his sensible quest for diplomatic outclassing barbaric warfare.

Could this finally be the initial foundation Putin was hoping for to lead the UN into humanitarian law and order, to show the UN in a good light as to what it may be capable of becoming in the future.

Either way if this resolution is genuine and (after the final agreements can hopefully be positively ironed out), so then also binding. Then this is definitely a brilliant start. US and the West can then hide behind the UN decision to 'save face' even though the whole world knows that Putin had them well and truly over a barrel. lol :) Lets send positive outcomes for this peeps. :referee:
