Denmark is going to the national elections today and a green government will take seat as all the parties from one end to the other proclaim to be greener than the other, whether conservative, liberal, social democratic, left wing or ultra left wing. All want to save the planet and the school children

In light of the elections, this article which was posted on Sputnik is interesting, though I doubt it will have much effect on the election as saving the planet for the children is the key distraction focus.

According to the Danish newspaper BT, a Somali is 3.6 times more likely to commit violent crime compared with a Danish man of the same age and income.
Criminal immigrants pose a major problem in Denmark, Justice Minister Søren Pape Poulsen admitted, after the newspaper BT took a deep look into crime rates and provided insights.
In a major review of immigrant crime, BT reviewed verdicts for crimes involving murder and attempted murder as well as violent crime and robbery.
Between January 2014 and November 2018, Somalis topped Danish crime statistics with 1,111 convictions, followed by Iraqis and Turks.
According to BT, it is 3.6 times more common for a Somali to be sentenced for violent crime than for a Danish man of the same age with the same income.
Danish politicians didn't attempt to sugar-coat the problem.
“Your review clearly shows that there is a big problem with criminal migrants whom we shouldn't have in our society”, Justice Minister Søren Pape Poulsen of the Conservative Party told BT. According to him, this is why the government has been implementing legislative changes to facilitate the expulsion of criminal migrants.

Danish People's Party legal rapporteur and newly elected MEP Peter Kofod, was also upset, calling the statistics “insane”.
“These are pretty wild numbers, those that BT has uncovered. They support what we, the Danish People's Party, have been pointing out for years, that we in Denmark have a challenge with immigration from a number of countries in Africa and the Middle East,” Kofod said.
Kofod didn't miss the opportunity to promote his right-wing party's immigration agenda.
“It's tragic, and we have to respond to that. We must do this by sending people back home and not taking new ones in. It must be the lesson after too many years when Denmark and the rest of Western Europe have had too much of immigration from certain areas,” Kofod added.
The Danish Social Liberal Party also believes that foreign felons must leave Denmark. Their legal rapporteur Lotte Rod called it “terrible” that such crimes are committed in Denmark.
“The problem, however, is that there are countries, to which we cannot deport people. This applies, for instance, to Somalia and Syria,” Rod stressed. [In other words if you come from those countries, you have a free pass to commit these crimes. Crimes that in their own countries would not be tolerated.]

As of 2019, close to 800,000 of Denmark's population of 5.8 million (over 13 percent) were immigrants and their descendants. Of them, 500,000 were non-Western immigrants, Statistics Denmark reported.
In recent years, both the centre-right government parties and even some of the opposition parties, such as the Social Democrats, have significantly toughened their immigration rhetoric, with the Danish People's Party going so far as proposing a temporary full asylum stop.

In 2018, 42.5 percent of its residents had an immigrant background, an annual increase of 2 percent.

I looked up Judith Bergman, in the list further down one can see many of the titles she posts on Gatestone, but then I tried to find out what else she is writing. There are 5-10 articles about the US, Canada and Australia, but the above ordering gives the main idea of her work for Gatestone. What is not covered and is outside the scope of this thread is the participation of other Israelis in assisting to bring about the chaos, she is describing. 9/11 and the dancing Israelis is enough for a hint.

Doing this little time consuming work of ordering the articles and taking a look at some of the quotes and sources they use taught me that even though I may disagree with several of the opinions and conclusions, many of the observations and the analysis about the EU, Europe and its countries, appear valid in terms of describing what is. Her writing express the reality that some at the top of Israeli society have good intelligence sources, otherwise the Israeli elite would not be able to do what they are doing and get away with it for so long.

Coming back to the mission statement of Mida, for whom Bergman also writes:

One could hold that the topics and the way she treats her subject is to promote fear, but at the same time she also reveals the fear and the interest or even lack of interest among the European leadership.

Just as it was useful to learn about Classical Judaism, then it might be useful to post about these three terms and what they mean as described in the articles posted above, keeping in mind that they are written by those with a worldview probably not too unlike Netanyahu:

Although Europe is not part of the Muslim world, many European authorities nevertheless seem to feel obliged to submit to Islam in more or less subtle ways. This voluntary submission appears to be unprecedented: Dhimmi, historically speaking, is the Arabic term for the conquered non-Muslim, who agrees to live as a second-rate, "tolerated" citizen, under Islamic rule, submitting to a separate, demeaning set of laws and the demands of his Islamic masters. [not so different from how classical Judaism view goyim]

In Europe, submitting to the demands of Islam, in the name of "diversity" and "human rights", has also been happening voluntarily. This submission to Islam is, of course, highly ironic, as the Western concepts of "diversity" and "human rights" do not exist within the foundational texts of Islam. On the contrary, these texts denounce in the strongest – and supremacist - terms those who refuse to submit to the Islamic concept of divinity, Allah, as infidels who must either convert, pay the jizya ["protection"] tax or die.

One of the most troubling aspects of this rapidly spreading dhimmitude, is the de-facto enforcement of Islamic blasphemy laws within European jurisdictions. Local European authorities have been utilizing "hate speech" laws to prohibit criticism of Islam, even though Islam represents an idea – a religion and ideology - not a nationality or an ethnicity. The conventional purpose of most "hate-speech" laws is to protect people from hatred, not ideas. It would therefore appear that European authorities are under no legal obligation to prosecute people for criticizing Islam, especially as Islamic law, Sharia, is not part of European law; yet they do so only too willingly.

The most recent example of this kind of dhimmitude comes from Sweden, where a pensioner has been indicted for calling Islam a 'fascist' ideology on Facebook. The legal provision under which he is being charged, (Brottsbalken chapter 16, § 8,1 st), explicitly talks of "incitement" (Swedish: "hets mot folkgrupp") against groups of people defined by their 'race, skin color, national or ethnic origin, faith or sexual preference'. However, the provision does not criminalize criticism of religion, ideology or ideas, because Western democracies, back when they were genuine democracies, did not criminalize the free exchange of ideas.

Dawa: Sowing the Seeds of Hate
Dawa
On the surface, dawa, or outreach -- in person or online -- appears to be a benign missionary activity, about converting non-Muslims. Legal in Western societies, it is allowed to proceed undisturbed by the media or government. Dawa generally attracts little attention, except when members of an outreach organization suddenly turn up in the headlines as full-fledged jihadists.

Politicians and the media in the West seem to prefer viewing Islam solely as a religion and not as a political system that, according to critics, seeks to impose its own laws and regulations, sharia, on the world.

According to the Somali-born Muslim dissident and author, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, however, in her recent book, The Challenge of Dawa: Political Islam as Ideology and Movement and How to Counter It:

"The term 'dawa' refers to activities carried out by Islamists to win adherents and enlist them in a campaign to impose sharia law on all societies. Dawa is not the Islamic equivalent of religious proselytizing, although it is often disguised as such... [It] includes proselytization, but extends beyond that. In Western countries, dawa aims both to convert non-Muslims to political Islam and to bring about more extreme views among existing Muslims. The ultimate goal of dawa is to destroy the political institutions of a free society and replace them with strict sharia."

The above is of course written from an Israeli Zionist perspective, but in recent years especially in Scandinavia, some of the more extremist Islamic views are being promoted, not least aided by Saudi Arabia and countries who support the Muslim Brotherhood such as Turkey and Qatar.

The rest of the article is about the many times terror attacks have happened during Ramadan and how muslims who die during Ramadan will accrue more benefits in the afterlife. Much of it straight propaganda with a bit of truth. It also mentions how the West is accomodating to the practice of Islam in schools and elsewhere.

What is obvious and not mentioned in the article is how the Israeli and Western masterminds of the many terror groups such as ISIS profit from these beliefs which they covertly support and which they can then write about. A self fulfilling prophecy created by the puppet masters. The ensuing chaos is something that benefits Israel, which is why they actively promote these activities. It can therefore become a problem as a minority of muslim immigrants in Western countries take on these beliefs and without much prodding become the willing patsies for terror attacks.

I think the extremists adherents of Islam might represent a bigger part in those who have come into Western Europe as immigrants. This flow has been aided by certain interest groups linked to elite factions but also by postmodernist virtue-signalling ngo's who unknowingly has been usefull idiots for those who wish to engineer chaos in Europe.

Just to balance this post, then there is this article, which the Gatestone institute probable wont write about. Perhaps that is part of the aim of these writers, to distract from the brutality done by Israelis by constantly talking about the horrors of Islam, which they at another level aide and abet. Swedish Education Minister Anna Ekström has suggested that religious schools are “bad for society” and that stopping them was essential for integration.
The Swedish government intends to stop the future establishment of private charter schools, as a means of indicating that it is a secular state.
As a result of a consensus between the ruling left-of-the-centre red-green coalition and its junior support parties, the Centre and the Liberals, an investigation on the confessional elements in the educational system is now in progress. The assignment of special investigator Lars Arrhenius is to submit proposals for a total stop to the establishment of new primary and secondary schools which have a religious undertone.
“In recent years, we have seen examples of schools that, in the name of religion, separate girls and boys, barely teach about sex or cohabitation, and equate evolution with religious creationism myths. This is totally unacceptable. Now the government is taking the first steps towards stopping new religious schools,” Social Democrat Education Minister Anna Ekström said in a statement.
According to her, the possibility of starting new charter schools with a confessional orientation may ultimately be removed. Existing religious schools shall remain, but may have to revise their regulations.
“In a Swedish school, each student must be free to shape their own perception and future. Not a single child should be forced to participate in confessional elements or denied teaching about, for example, evolutionary doctrine or sex and cohabitation. It is a question of defending the very foundation of the school, that the main emphasis shall be placed on knowledge and education, not religious education,” Anna Ekström explained.

In an interview with the Christian newspaper Dagen, Ekström suggested that religious charter schools were “bad for society” and that stopping them was a matter of integration.
However, there may be one notable exception. Jewish schools are to be exempted from the ban, fellow Social Democrat Civilian Minister Ardalan Shekarabi assured following the criticism from the Jewish Central Council.
“There are special rules for the minorities we have in Sweden. The Jewish minority is protected in that legislation and this means that they will be able to maintain their structure with special training,” Shekarabi was quoted as saying by Aftonbladet daily.
Columnist Ivar Arpi noted that virtually all arguments that are raised against confessional schools refer to Muslim schools and not Christian or Jewish ones.
“If everyone knows which schools are considered to inhibit the integration of immigrants, why not say it out straight? How about a little honesty?” Arpi wrote in his column in Svenska Dagbladet called “Christian schools punished for no reason.”
The school report must be finished no later than 19 December 2019.

At present, Sweden has some 70 schools that claim to have at least some confessional elements most of them are Christian or Muslim.
A 2017 Pew Research Center report found that 59.9 percent of Swedes self-identified as Christians, with 48.7 percent belonging to the Church of Sweden, and the majority of the rest being unaffiliated Christians.
The number of Muslims has been estimated at over 8 percent of Sweden's population of 10 million.
By contrast, the Jewish diaspora numbers only 20,000. Of those, about 7,000 are members of a congregation.

So again, Christianity is part of the collateral, despite Sweden used to be a Christian nation. Looked at from another angle, Christianity has been what has suffered most from this deliberately manufactured migration wave. Both attacks on churches throughout Europe, but also attacks on Christian values and ethics as they are no longer allowed to be taught or aired due to political correctness, 'sensitivity issues', inclusiveness and/or because they are not seen to belong in a materialistic, Darwinian postmodernist worldview, that many in the West embrace.

The Swedish lady that is interviewed has with her friend, Maria, a youtube/radio programme and the title of the last show begins "Shall Denmark become like Sweden ....

Anyhow, Ingrid and Maria have an article När IQ-nivån sjunker under 90 bryter demokratin samman The topic of the article is rarely mentioned, it is a political tabu, one can talk about all kinds of mental and physical escapism, but not the issue of the changing patterns of logical and mental abilities and the reasons behind them. But considering that this thread is about Scandinavia, and to skip all the suspense at every new turn of events, perhaps it is alright just once to let one of the many cats out of the bag. Besides, I am sure any animal lover in Scandinavia would be appalled at the old cruel habit of keeping cats in a bag, so here we go

In 2006, average IQ in Sweden was measured at 104, which gave us a fourth place in Europe, beaten only by Germans, Dutch and Poles. Since then, the IQ level in Norway, Denmark and Finland has fallen - Sweden has (of course) stopped measuring but since we have received four times as many immigrants as the other countries merged, we can safely state that the situation is certainly the worst in Sweden.

"Stopped measuring" because in Sweden like in some countries, apparently, wishful thinking can create a new reality. For instance, one way to solve issues is to either not talk about them, give them other names, or invent reasons that reduce the problems to issues that can be solved or shelved with a few smart politically correct statements.

According to IQ researcher James Flynn, the Nordic countries have lost 0.23 IQ points per year since the 1990s, which in the long term will have a strong effect.

Flynn received in an Intelligence article the question of whether this trend could be reversed. His answer shows that he either did not understand what is happening or, more likely, only pretends to believe that it does not have to do with immigration:

- I really do not know. But it is far more important that we use the large and actual increase we experienced in the long term to something sensible, than to worry about a minor case. A good thing would be if more people read thick books, preferably about history.

If you import large groups of people from low-IQ countries, a country's average IQ will of course fall. And it was precisely this that Helmuth Nyborg warned in an article from 2012. Generally speaking, people who live in cold countries are smarter than those who live in hot. It's usually called cold winter theory and so described Helmuth Nyborg's phenomenon in Dispatch International 2012:

Interesting advice to read thick books about history, not bad in my opinion, but this is certainly not happening, quite the contrary, as books, also thick ones about history go to the recycling station by the container load.

A couple of fresh scientific reports have shown how cold winters eliminated the weak, stupid and cunning migrants from the human gene pool when man, in prehistoric times, left Africa and wandered north. According to British researcher Richard Lynn, low-IQ migrants have a tendency to forget about saving food for the winter, arranging warm clothes and a home that protects them from the cold. Therefore, the low-intelligence gradually disappeared, while the intelligent did well in the cold climate. This discrimination process is behind the intelligence differences we see today with an average bottom IQ in Africa of 70 and a top IQ of 105 in the North Asian countries.

Thus, evolution saw that intelligence was higher in our countries than in the African. Of course, it took thousands of years to shape intelligent and foresighting people, and it is extremely stupid to believe that people can fly here from low-IQ countries in Africa and believe that they can work in our societies only if they are educated. Education is not a quick fix - only those who have the intelligence enough to take on advanced knowledge can cope in a high-tech society like Sweden.

But even without immigration from low-IQ countries, the Swedish average intelligence would have dropped, albeit not so quickly and so drastically. It has to do with the welfare state. Helmuth Nyborg explains:

"The American researchers Herrnstein and Murray have found that growing welfare leads to mothers with low IQ starting to acquire more children and getting them earlier than mothers with high IQ. Simple calculations show that this will gradually lead to lower average IQ. [Biochemist] Gerhard Meisenberg has calculated that these factors will cause an average intelligence case of 1.34 points per decade. It doesn't sound that much, but will eventually have dramatic consequences. ”

When we published Nyborg's article at Dispatch International, we knew that it would attract attention. It was one of the aims - to try to awaken the democracy-loving politicians for the fact that no country with an average IQ below 90 has managed to create or maintain a democracy. Well, this was an argument that would bite them, I thought.

Tji I got. Not a single politician cares about this obvious threat to Swedish democracy, and in 2012 I assumed it was because they simply refused to believe in science. After all, it disturbed their multicultural happiness.

Seven years later, I think the opposite. They have deliberately filled our country with less talented people who will never be like us, in no way. Recently, a new research study showed that Sweden is the country in the Nordic region that has received the most overseas and most low-skilled immigrants - which has led us to have the largest employment gap between natives and immigrants.

When Swedes become a minority in our own country, average IQ will be so low that democracy can no longer be maintained. Just take this with the clan vote - an excellent example of how low IQ makes people not understand the very point of democracy. More about this in future sections of the democratic series."

What these two Swedish journalists are not looking at in this article, is the gellyfication of the brains of the population with all 4G, 5G, Wifi, the Smart phone abuse. Many people walk while on the phone, cross the street, ride the bicycle, drive the car, attend their lectures and classes, while on their smart phone. It is like the machine and the human have merged. When the machines are so smart why do the humans need to be?

Talking about 5G, there was an article a few days ago about identifying Russian propaganda. It mentions a story on the Web page of the Danish State TV and Radio that tells how an FB post about the dangers of 5G posted by RT on Facebook has received a 1000 shares and they take this as a sure sign of Russian interference

Apparently in Denmark some of the issues we should just swallow, like 5G. Anything written in Russia that resonates with some Danish people means that Russia is a fault. In this case, if a Danish person has shared this RT article and does not conforme to the idea of 5G, this person is manipulated by a foreign power. If this happens one is not conforming to Western Democracy, European Values, Free World, International Order and all the other US/EU/NATO patented two words slogans. And who is telling us what to believe in the above two articles, a PhD employed by the University of Copenhagen, apparently with a name sounding as if from Ukraine. Now is that Ukrainian interference?

This post has a few comments on the recent elections and presents a case where citizens with relation to Denmark apparently assisted the development of the ISIS drone programme.

In Denmark there were elections and one analysis has the headline That Denmark begins to look like Sweden. The headline is an opinion piece in the newspaper Jyllands-Posten. Perhaps the editors chose this expression, to catch the attention of the readers. What the author Mikael Jalving argues is that right wing populism was replaced by centrist populism, and that one can talk of a deep Danish state with a power base in all the people dependent on the state either by employment or by receiving state benefits: Blog: Det piner mig at sige det, men Danmark begynder at ligne Sverige I don't know if anyone related to Sweden can relate to a similar situation being present there, but it seems it is not far off.

Then there are those who say that many voters voted strategically to avoid the wings being strengthened, as we have otherwise seen it happen over most of Western Europe in recent years. It's possible. In that case, the right-wing populism in Denmark was replaced by the middle population or the notion that the old parties ensure political stability, which only makes sense if one defines stability as the ability to use other people's front and back, throwing tax bills for wind turbines and hot air in order to "save the climate" and let the unfortunate demographic development thrive, as if it was a cosmic movement beyond human control. It hurts me to say that, but Denmark is starting to look like Sweden.

The experienced businessman Asger Aamund has written the truest that has been written about the election result when he points to the deep Danish deep state as a constant in the voters' preference. The deep state is characterized by the fact that three quarters of all Danes either work in state or municipality or are on transfer income. For decades, the transfers have been paid to about 800,000 people of working age, which causes Aamund to raise two issues that are just as acute today as in the mid-1990s: "Why have we invited 125,000 workers from Eastern Europe to Denmark, when we have such a formidable labor reserve? Why do we discuss the import of workers from the hot countries when we have 800,000 of our own on benefits from the state? "

The answer is that no one dares to go against the Danish deep state. It is the one who decides, since it is the one most voters stand in a dependency relationship with. Another issue of interest is that there the 1st of April 2019 were 434,000 people above 18 years of foreign origin in Denmark, who could not vote in the general election. This is 9.4 % of all who can vote and up from 1.8 % in 1980. A professor says this may create a democratic B team and might become a challenge for democracy, as they in his opinion are in Denmark on the same grounds as everyone else.

At the recent elections in Denmark there were those who thought one may as well boycott since the policy to a large extent anyway is determined by agreements with supernational organizations and that there is no real difference between one end og the political spectrum. Another group, Hizb ut-Tahrir of the same opinion held that democracy is against Islam and they encouraged local Islamists not to vote.

There was also an academic who felt that the election was a waste:

Danish democracy has been emptied of political content and filled with superficial advertising languages. The lack of political will in relation to the climate crisis is a clear example of how representative democracy can no longer solve the problems that are

Others said that it is much better to vote for a particular candidate than for a party, since there are good people in all parties and there can be a lot of difference between the positions of the individual candidates within the same party.

And moving away from elections, there was some news about how some people with relation to Denmark worked with and for ISIS, I guess one can find many similar cases in other countries, so here are some short notes about this case that was the central issue of a few radio programmes aired in April 2019.

9: 9 - The bomb in the meat chopper
In 2017, two brothers are attempting to get a bomb aboard an aircraft with 400 people going from Sydney to Abu Dhabi. The bomb is hidden in a meat chopper, and the attempted attack has links leading back to Basil Hassan.

I was interested in section 8:9, which in the beginning states that the police thinks there are five members of the network, in Denmark it is a bicycle dealer, a educator/lecturer and a taxi driver. Outside Denmark there is this Basil Hassan, a Danish/Lebanese engineer, and a Danish-Turkish citizen, who now lives in Turkey, but which earlier served a sentence for terrorism in Denmark. Since the police have prohibited mentioning names in this case the journalist can't give more detail, but they express their surprise at finding out that a person who earlier has been sentenced in the Danish terror case has been suspected of being involved in this case also. What they really wish to know is the location of the friend of Basil Hassan, which the police can not find. However the small team of three journalists, after a short investigation quickly finds the possible whereabout of this internationally wanted person. Through a local contact in Turkey all is confirmed without much effort except having to wait for the renovation of the car wash to be complete, and his shop open to customers again. Later one of the journalists speak with the person wanted by the Danish police, and what is revealed at the end of the episode is that since he is also Turkish and Turkey usually does not extradite to other countries, then things will remains as they are.

Finally, according to this article Basil Hassan, was arrested in Turkey, but released in exchange for Turks held by ISIS. In the radio programme they mention that the five suspects according to sources probably are part of a larger network, and the case is still being investigated behind closed doors.

Klas Friberg, who leads Säpo, the Swedish security agency responsible for counter-espionage and counter-terrorism, wrote in an op-ed that he and his colleagues work “around the clock” to protect Sweden from terrorism.

Despite their best efforts, the risk of terrorist attacks remains high, Friberg said, partly due to Islamic State’s (IS, formerly ISIS) “Hollywood-like propaganda machine” which produces “gruesome imagery with both living and dead people.”

The security official noted that the materials are used to recruit new supporters, but that Swedish authorities can do nothing to stop the propaganda from spreading because it is not criminal to possess or view these videos and images.

Arguing that “terrorism must be countered in every way,” Friberg called on the government to open an inquiry into whether it should be a punishable offense to handle violent content produced to spread the ideology of Islamic State. He says the legislation would not be radical, drawing a parallel to laws prohibiting the possession of child pornography.

This could help Säpo investigate and prosecute those deemed a threat to Sweden, he said, adding that measures must be taken to ensure that “rights and freedoms” are preserved.

Sweden suffered a terrorist attack in 2017, when an IS supporter rammed a truck into a crowd of people on a busy street in Stockholm, killing five people.

Manfred Weber of the European People's Party (EPP) will try to block the construction of Russia’s Nord Stream 2 pipeline if he becomes the next President of the European Commission, the German told Polska Times in an interview published on April 23, 2019.

“I am against this project. It’s not in the interest of the European Union,” he said. “As the head of the European Commission, I will use all available laws to block Nord Stream 2,” the German centre-right European People’s Party candidate told the paper.

His position goes against that of the German government, which has supported the construction of the pipeline project spearheaded by Russia’s state energy firm Gazprom, in part due to the economic benefits it can bring.

What could be in the interest of the European Union? Maybe delivering natural gas?

Ukraine is strictly against the project but doesn't belong to the EU. Poland used to be (or still is) against Nord Stream 2, but has since decided to buy liquefied natural gas from the U.S. hoping for discounts on LNG's higher prices.

Denmark has been one of the many European countries that decides its selfdetermined policies based on the imperial advice of the US State Department. This includes opposing Nord Stream II that should bring extra gas from Russia. This is a remarkable demonstration of the capabilities of several Danish politician as one of the really major natural gas sources in the North Sea called Tyra, accounting for 90 % of Danish production will be temporarily closed down from November 2019 to July 2022 according to Største Nordsø-investering nogensinde: Tyrafelt ombygges for 21 mia. kroner in an article from December 1, 2017. In the mean time, the missing gas will come from outside, including Norway. In a different article from March 2017 Gigantrenovering af vitalt naturgasfelt lukker dansk produktion over to år they write there will be two years with gas from Germany, which gets its gas from ... Russia. Now we know who delivers besides Norway - Russia. This is worth repeating as Denmark has worked against the Nord Stream II project. Does this really need further commenting?

The above post is from May 2018, but as Denmark is still blocking and/or delaying the construction of Nord Stream II, the post is worth highlighting again. Soon it will be Nov 2019 and Denmark will have to get its gas from Norway and Germany who gets in from Russia. One can hardly imagine Denmark to get any preferential treatment from Germany concerning the gas and might be missing out if there due to a cold winter will be a shortage of gas in Europe due to the delay of Nord Stream II. Again a shortage of gas to Denmark in a cold winter might not be such a bad thing, when one considers that a lack of hard times leads to a deficiency in psychological knowledge as Lobaczewski wrote. And knowledge is surely lacking.

I have often wondered why Denmark cooperated so easily with NAZI Germany during ww2, why was there no serious resistance when the occupation took place on April 9, 1940? It turns out the leadership of Copenhagen might have had an experience from the book of history to rely on, making them think twice while German planes were hanging over the capital.

As has been mentioned previously in the threat then the Danes who fought on the side of Nazi Germany during WW2, mainly fought and died on the East Front against Russia. I have talked a few times with Thorbiorn about the Danish Russophobia and it appears to have deep roots, which is probably why even it is not so hard for Danish politicians to play the vassal of the US and block Nord Stream II.

Denmark has had strong connections with Russia before the February communist revolution in 1917. An example of this connection is the ties between the Danish royal family and the Russian Tzar in the 19th century.

The Danish King Christian IX was married to a princess from Germany close to Kassel, Louise von Hessen-Kassel (1817-1898), who then became Queen Louise. They had 6 children, who married very influential people in Europe, especially the first four:

1. Frederik 8. of Denmark (1843−1912), married to Louise af Sverige-Norge. Thus he became the future King of Denmark
2. Alexandra of Denmark (1844−1925), married to Edward VII of England. At the death of Queen Victoria, she became queen-empress until her husband king-emperors death in 1910.
3. Vilhelm of Denmark (Georg I) (1845−1913), King of Greece.
4. Dagmar of Denmark (1847−1928), married to Tsar Alexander 3. af Rusland. She was in Russia called Marija Fjodorovna (russisk: Мария Фёдоровна) (26. november 1847 – 13. oktober 1928)

The last one is the interesting one in regards to Russia and Russophobia as she also was the mother of Nikolaj II, the last Russian Tsar. She converted to the Russian orthodox church before the marriage. She managed after the revolution to come back to Denmark where she died in 1928. As a side note, she was reburied in 2006 in St. Petersburg after before that having been buried in Denmark. The only Russian orthodox church in Copenhagen, Alexander Nevsky was built by Tsar Alexander III in 1881-1883 so that he and his wife could go to church when they visited Denmark.

The point is that this connection with Russia before the revolution undoubtedly also resulted in a lot of trade and business between Russia and Denmark (Marriages back then among the elite was always about trade and alliances). When the communist revolution happened, a number of Danes likely lost much investment and livelihood if not their lives. The brutal murder of the Russian Tzar just symbolized the big traumatic wound in relations between Denmark and the new rulers in 1917. So when Nazi Germany were going to war against Russia some 24 years later, then it might not be so surprising that a number of Danes signed up to go and fight on the side of Nazi Germany. They may or may not all have had Nazi sympathies, but they had a common enemy, which then was communism.

That Communism has long been gone in Russia seems not to have registered with many in Denmark if one judges on the Russophobia that is rampant, but perhaps part of the reason lies in this traumatic wound that has been past down in certain families with a grudge to bear and perhaps a wish for revenge. I once heard a story about the former Danish Prime minister and former head of NATO, Anders Fogh Rasmussen, as being a descendent of people who lost much property in Ukraine during the 1917 revolution. I have not been able to verify it, but we do se how Ukrainian descendants in Canada such as their foreign minister Chrystie Freeland, due to old past grievances in the family against Russia, can make a life career with a strong aim of hurting Russia as much as possible. Talk about generational trauma!

In a bid to ditch common stereotypes involving blood sacrifices and orgies, Sweden's satanist community is paying tribute to social justice, a secular state, and embraces feminism. The Dark Lord himself is seen a literary figure and a role model as an eternal rebel.
Despite the fact that the Church has always regarded Satan as the origin of evil and the foremost enemy of man, the Swedish Satanist community has been accepted as a religious denomination by the country's Legal, Financial and Administrative Services Agency, the newspaper Dagen reported.

In order to become a registered religious community in Sweden, you need to fulfil several requirements, such as arrange religious services, like prayers or meditation, and have a name that “doesn't contradict good customs or general order”. According to the authorities, the Satanists have ticked all the boxes.

The group is led by a married couple, Erik and Jenny Hedin from Stockholm. Both are scholars in the history of ideas and linguistics and admittedly have no background in other religious movements. According to their own data, they have about 100 followers. The movement was inspired by The Satanic Temple, an activist group from Massachusetts, US, who among other things have lobbied to abandon school prayers, not unlike Sweden's Humanist Society.

Despite having a name that suggests devil worship and to many ears rings of nocturnal rites and animal sacrifice, the Satanist community actually celebrates a scientific approach, a secular state and social justice. Even a cursory look at the community's Facebook page reveals a lot of talking points generally associated with left-wing or liberal debaters, such as LGBT issues, environmental protection and criticism of midwives who refuse to perform abortions. The community also distributed sanitary towels in a project called Menstruation with Satan. During Stockholm's Pride Week, the group organised a seminar on the need for Satanist feminism.

As for Satan himself, he is only seen as a “literary figure”, according to the society. While Satan is hailed as role model and “eternal rebel” who eternally gainsays the authorities, the group performs rituals such as “invocation of Lucifer and Lilith”. The focal point is to put the self at the centre of everything.

“Man is perfect as he is, we do not need to listen to others but can believe in ourselves. It is also about questioning arbitrary norms and authorities”, Jenny Hedin explained to Dagen.

So far, the formal recognition doesn't go beyond just that, and the satanists enjoy no government grants or rights to conduct marriage ceremonies. Nevertheless, such a step was inconceivable only some decades ago.
However, since the Church of Sweden was separated from the state in 2000, a push for a more equal treatment of other faith communities was initiated. In recent years, a plethora of religious societies have been registered in Sweden, from the Islamic fatwa agency to the Scientologists.

It is interesting though not surprising the topics they associate with. Elevating man as the focal point and thus taking the place of 'God' is perhaps a natural consequence of Darwinism and materialism, where there is nothing higher, spiritual towards which man can thrive. By efforts, sacrifice and suffering, man can attain an ennobled version of himself compared to the previously largely unconscious and mechanical self. Something that Dostoevsky, Jordan Peterson and many others have written and spoken much about. Having no guidelines as in higher ethical values, man is lost to the lower instinctual drives. Something that will end in tragedy. Most likely those who form such a church have no understanding with what forces they unconsciously are aligning themselves with.

The Danish Tax Agency was attacked using commercially available explosives rather than a home-made bomb, a preliminary analysis carried out by the Copenhagen Police has found.
"The preliminary analysis shows we are are probably talking about explosives of the type used, among other things, for industrial purposes, for example for demolition work or similar tasks," Jørgen Bergen Skov, chief inspector of the Copenhagen Police, said in a press release issued on Friday afternoon.

Greenland is part of the Kingdom of Denmark along with Denmark and the Faroe Islands. On the map from the Wiki you find Greenland as a large island which borders the Arctic Ocean.

The reaction to the US proposal has so far been negative: A Greenlandic member of parliament located in Copenhagen, said that Greenland is not a commodity. Many politicians have expressed their disagreement or disbelief, see also.

Geographically, Greenland is located in North America, northeast of Canada, but historically, politically and economically, the country is closely linked to Europe.

Trump visits Denmark 2-3. September, and here both Greenland and Arctic issues will be on the agenda.

During the visit, the president will meet with both Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen (S) and Greenland's national chairman, Kim Kielsen.

Probably the idea has been on the table much longer, but the US has not raised it officially until now, but as Trump is going to visit Copenhagen in two weeks, the US has to prepare the ground for the talks. Besides the Danish PM will meet the head of Greenland in a few days and probably also to plan the next meeting.
It is to be seen if a few years of "business as usual" or "business the American way" will change anything in the official relations between Greenland, the Faroe Islands and Denmark, somewhat like Trump says a trade agreement with China will be on US terms

I live right in between to two places where the explosions took place. The sounds of the drones flying over the city to overlook the aera, is just almost everyday business here. On the bright side for me personally it, gets me to really be aware of my reality left and right.
