I'm also reading the book right now. Yes that is one of the main points Casey is making and as he said in his last interview before his stroke (so quite awhile after he published "Dark Winter"); the fact that very destructive earthquake and vulcanic activity ramps up significantly during periods of cold is now one of the most well established facts in science, but the reasons behind it are still not well understood et all. Apparently in his last book "Upheaval" he goes into more detail about this fact and how to prepare for it. As mentioned before elsewhere, Randall Carlson also points to the fact that it has also been quite well reasoned through science that in cold periods destructive Hurrican activity picks up as well. On Carlsons astounding research (which is quite an understatement, as far as I can tell) into comets impacts and cycles, ice ages and many more topics, that have effected humanity repeatedly very profoundly throughout history, is a new extensive topic in preparation in the moment. So stay tuned for that.
Well, according to Casey's last interview (who by the way, doesn't take into consideration factors like comets and electrical interactions in the solar system, which most likely play a very significant role besides the sun as well) any such attempt to shield off the sun or chance natural circles is a rather foolish idea, since the earth system is very complex and it would merely amount to a little grain of salt in an ocean of sand.
At most it would be a very small contribution to natural circles. In fact though, when some circles indeed try to cool down or warm up the natural circle, it could lead to a worsening of the problem. There are official reports out there though that do suggests that governments and organisations around the world at least think about something like this. So it could very well be that they have already started to try something like this. If so, I think they will make the situation worse at best.
The idea that they could use something like this as an "plausible reason" to be the ones under control of the earth isn't such a far fetched idea as well. They desperately need to make people believe that we humans can do something while we really can't and thus reiforce their power positions. I think it won't be long that it gets apparent that they can't do anything at all.

Its funny you say that. The Oxford Martin School website has recently changed its web-navigation format to make it rather difficult to find its "solar-radiation management/Geoengineering" section. It seems to me that today's physicists are in the position of what scientists were when they needed to move from the geocentric system to the heliocentric system.
When they release their belief "the mass is mom" that is; the mass is the cause of gravity, and accepts that mass is the result of gravity / attraction, we will enter into the new era of dynamic physics, Ether's physics. The linguists (mathematicians) are already deeply involved in that area (topology, chaos theory) and download instructions for use. Physicists, chemists, doctors, sociologists, spirits will follow. People will finally know how it works, the second body - the ethereal body. How they are connected to this body with everyone else. The consciousness of mankind will move to new density. Hallelujah.

A long-dead Scandinavian woman has yielded bacterial DNA showing that she contracted the earliest known case of the plague in humans.
DNA extracted from the woman’s teeth comes from a newly identified ancient strain of Yersinia pestis, the bacterium that causes plague, the oldest ever found. The woman’s bones, which date from 5,040 to 4,867 years ago, were found nearly 20 years ago in a mass grave at an ancient farming site in Sweden.
Teeth from an adult male in the same grave contain traces of the same plague variant, say evolutionary geneticist Simon Rasmussen of the University of Copenhagen and colleagues. But plague DNA from the woman is better preserved, the team reports online December 6 in Cell.
Comparisons of the newly found Y. pestis strain with other ancient and modern strains suggest that a plague epidemic emerged more than 5,000 years ago in densely populated farming communities in southeastern Europe. Then the plague spread elsewhere, including to Scandinavia, via trade routes, Rasmussen’s team concludes. That ancient epidemic apparently contributed to sharp population declines in Europe that began as early as 8,000 years ago (SN: 11/2/13, p. 12).
In particular, the scientists suspect that an early form of plague developed among southeastern Europe’s Trypillia culture between 6,100 and 5,400 years ago. Trypillia settlements were the first to bring enough people into close contact to enable the evolution of a highly infectious version of Y. pestis, the team suggests. Trading networks then transmitted the plague from Trypillia population centers, home to as many as 10,000 to 20,000 people, to West Asian herders known as the Yamnaya (SN: 11/25/17, p. 16), the researchers argue. In this scenario, herders infected by the Trypillia people probably spread what had become a new strain of the plague both eastward to Siberia and westward to the rest of Europe, including Scandinavia. Yamnaya migrations to Europe roughly coincided with the rapid abandonment and burning of large Trypillia settlements, which probably occurred as a result of plague outbreaks, the scientists say.
Rasmussen and other investigators had previously suspected that Yamnaya herders brought early Y. pestis strains from Asia into Europe (SN: 11/28/15, p. 7). “Now we can see that the plague was in Europe before the herders came,” Rasmussen says.
DNA comparisons let the researchers calculate that the Scandinavian woman’s plague strain is the oldest of any Y. pestis variant identified so far. Based on a statistical model of how the bacterium evolved, the scientists estimate that the Scandinavian strain probably diverged from other Y. pestis forms around 5,700 years ago. A Eurasian plague variant previously dated to between 4,800 and 3,700 years ago — the oldest known until now — originated around 5,300 years ago, the team calculates. That’s around the time Trypillia towns were abandoned, and Yamnaya herders trekked westward to Europe, Rasmussen says.
A form of the plague ancestral to present-day strains, which are mostly found in China, emerged in East Asia around 5,100 years ago, the team estimates.

In 1989, an earthquake damaged the old Transbay Terminal, prompting plans for reconstruction.
Demolition began in 2010 and was completed less than a year later.
The new structure — then known as the Transbay Transit Center — was expected to open in late 2016.
Shortly after breaking ground, the agency responsible for the center — the Transbay Joint Powers Authority — hired a consulting firm to see how their construction might affect the nearby Millennium Tower.
Their report found that the tower had sunk 10 inches into the ground, beyond what builders had predicted for the entire lifetime of the structure.
Residents now report that they're assuming million-dollar losses for their condos. At the end of last year, a two-bedroom, three-bathroom unit went for 30% less than its sale price in 2013.
The discovery soon led to a massive feud with the tower's developers, Millennium Partners, which claimed the Transbay construction had contributed to the problem.
Things took another turn for the worse in 2016, when Millennium homeowners began suing the Transbay Authority.
The agency is now expected to pay millions of dollars in legal bills due to an agreement it signed in 2009.
In May 2016, the project accepted a $260 million bailout from the city after overspending on construction
The following year, the software company Salesforce signed a 25-year, $110 million sponsorship deal with the transit center, resulting in its name change.
Amid a backdrop of accusations and court proceedings, the Salesforce center had a grand opening in August 2018.
A month later, a walkway along the rooftop garden started crumbling.
Two weeks after that, workers discovered a cracked beam on the third floor deck.
Commuters were diverted to the Temporary Transbay Terminal, which operated while the Salesforce Center was still under construction.
By the afternoon, city officials had shut down the terminal and a few of the nearby streets.
A second cracked beam was discovered a day later.
In October, the general contractor filed a $150 million lawsuit against the Transbay Authority, which is being accused of skimping on payments.
That same contractor is also being sued by the subcontractor for steel installation, Skanska.
On October 18, the city said it was taking a "time out" from funding the project, withholding $9.6 million that was supposed to finance the terminal's expansion.
The Transbay Authority has hired experts to look into why the steel beams cracked, and expect to have answers by November.
Until then, the center remains closed indefinitely.

An epidemic of smallpox and other viruses brought by the Spanish invaders caused more than two million victims in Tenochtitlan, capital of ancient Mexico.
The inhabitants of those times were afraid of the appearance of comets, and still in the present. It is very possible that these phenomena/comets and the brought diseases are connected.

Yes, I agree, but what I wanted to say is that there is a lot of free self-help action in this movement. People who did not know each other yesterday and who today struggle together, talk to each other and stand together. It is a movement that creates spontaneous acts of the best and that is why it is rather STO.

Well according to the study called SHAKEOUT a mega earthquake would only be the beginning because the fires would cause more destruction. Maybe the fire of Paraiso was just a preview of the hell that will be unleashed.
The Shakeout experts were surprised by the magnitude of the fire damage caused by the earthquake, which could be worse if the Santa Ana winds blow when the event occurs. Hundreds of fires start, and with the roads blocked and the water system damaged, emergency personnel can not turn them off. Smaller fires merge into larger fires, eliminating entire sections of Los Angeles. All the lines that carry water, electricity and gas to Los Angeles cross the San Andreas fault: they break during the earthquake and will not be repaired for months.
In general, such an earthquake would cause about $200 billion in damages, (50,000 injuries and 2,000 deaths, the Shakeout researchers estimated) And this is where the world now IMHO would suffer the final fall of California. (California has fallen hard since the financial crisis struck with full fury in 2008)

People often see California as a very prosperous state and compare the economies of countries with the potential GDP of California as a sovereign nation. In May 2018, California became the fifth largest economy in the world, according to the estimate of gross domestic product (GDP). California has outperformed the United Kingdom after growing by 127,000 million in 2017, 3.4%. .
The GDP of California in 2017 reached 2.75 trillion dollars, while that of the United Kingdom remained at 2.625 trillion. The Californian economy is double that of Spain, fifteenth in the records:
1. United States GDP 19.4 billion dollars (California contributes 14%)
2. China GDP 12 billion
3. Japan GDP 4.87 trillion
4. Germany GDP 3.68 billion.
California exceeded the GDP of France in the year of 2015. In 2012, the economy had surpassed those of Russia and Brazil.
Donald Trump says that the ultra-democratic state is "out of control". Out of Republican control and out of financial and fiscal control: More than anywhere else, California is the source of massive mortgage loans, inflatable housing values, and high-risk dubious operations.
Much has been written about Wall Street, of course; as the center of global financial routing. However, if Wall Street was the eye of the financial hurricane of the last decade, California is the equivalent of tropical oceans that provide the heat to fuel such storms.
California should be recognized as a central site in the bursting of financial markets. A disastrous earthquake would only make worse a process that has taken years of development.

I was mumbling about the 10 inches of sinking Vs. a 1,070 feet tower and so much damage to the structures af a brand new-super tech building, and wondering about how much, or how less, Genoa's bridge 'Morandi' had to sink in order to collapse! Wow... considering also that that bridge was old and almost a patchwork of itself.
