Here is another version.

I like it. Very calm and clean.

I like the second version more :), just a little detail fwiw: regarding the tittle, perhaps it will help not leaving out "Soul" from the whole sentence, since is a large one, it can be done by separating the sentence in two lines.

12 Daily Exercises -in the first line
for Mind, Body and Soul -in the second line

The text is ready. Thanks for everyone's contributions! Now we're in the final phase: graphics and a cover. What we need are free or cheap images to spread throughout the book. So, can you all help find some fitting ones? Or for you artistic members, create some?

Fwiw there is also Artchemicalmatter from some forum members, which may have some graphics:

http://www.artchemicalmatter.com/

And as well http://www.revoltwear.net/

This is an awesome project! :headbanger: I can come up with a selection of some suitable graphics from Revolt! but also, i can create new ones if needed. So if you have some ideas for new graphics, jut let me know. I'll think on some too.

Love the cover. And I agree with Irjo, it would be cool to have the FOTCM logo somewhere?

I will change that. Thanks for the feedback. :)

Yep, I agree too! I'm waiting for hi-res of the FOTCM logo. When I get it, I will put it on the cover.

I really like the 'predator on a leash' carving from Auch. The only copy I could find was one Anart has posted in another thread:
predatorincage-1.jpg

Rather low res and difficult to print, so traced it and cleaned it up some, to get a cleaner B/W graphic, (not sure how readable or clear it became?) for chapter 8 or 10?

Sorry, I just cannot tell what is going on in either picture. I asked a friend of mine if it could be enhanced and he said "there may be 20 black cats hiding in that photo".

This one could be used for the parable of the coach. I traced the image, cleaned it up a bit and added the master.

Not sure where to put gawan's image (http://cassiopaea.org/forum/index.php/topic,30858.msg411567.html#msg411567). Maybe before the glossary entries? Or on the title page?

Before the glossary would seem fit and definitely not on the title, since grini did use a rather "soft" style and would go not hand in hand as I see it.

That sounds good to me. (Just FYI, by title page I meant the first page of the text, not the cover.)

I made 3 version with the logo and I separate the sentence as mabar suggested. I tried to place the logo at the bottom, but it didn't look good, background is too dark so yin yang symbols in the logo were barely visible.

Sais had it right, and Plato was faithful in his writing:

'There is a story which even you have preserved, that once upon a time Phaethon, the son of Helios, having yoked the steeds in his father's chariot, because he was not able to drive them in the path of his father, burnt up all that was upon the earth, and was himself destroyed by a thunderbolt. Now, this has the form of a myth, but really signifies a declination of the bodies moving around the earth and in the heavens, and a great conflagration of things upon the earth recurring at long intervals of time:'

A declination of bodies.
And to think that there are those who want to blow them up and drag pieces to Lunar orbit.
i.e - attempting to yoke the steeds that do not belong to us.
What ended the last Ice Age likewise drowned Atlantis and pre-Greece, about 9500-9000 BC ... which shows up nicely in the EPIC ice cores from Greenland. So, here we are, come full circle in 11,500 years.
A doozie and friends, if I read my history correctly, will not do anything to change enough minds. It never has. It just erases the chalkboard.
Something else must happen to turn man's course back to sanity.

The most balanced for me is the first one, on the top. Great Job grini! ;)

Good to know, cause I didn't :). Anyway, put it where it seems best. And if you need a high res picture let me know.

Well, the first or second one. But my tendency is more to the second.

Really like your work on the cover, grini. And I think the second one is best, fwiw.

Agree, it looks really good, Grini. I too have a preference for the second one.

grini,

why not put the FOTCM logo outside the title - maybe at the bottom of the page?
Other than that my preference is for number 3 ...
Good job!
