On closer inspection I would also remove the two bright stars that are located in the border at the right hand side of the main text block. They are clashing in brightness with the brighter border line.

I didn't notice.

Me neither. Looking at it again it only seems natural. Great collaboration by the way!

Do we have a winner? :)
I made some changes on the cover 8-2 and added the back cover with the POTS. Don't know how that looks all together...
I also made two versions, RGB (for electronic displays) and CMYK (for printing). CMYK was too big to attach it here, so I uploaded it somewhere else.

CMYK:

Great! I would say let's go for it...

Glad you like it! :)

Looking good, one thing, is there a spine that is different from the front and back image. If there is, it works. If this is the front/spline/and back it would work better feathering the distinct line between the two images to make it seamless. The vertical joint of the universe images between front and back stands out to much.

I think it would be better if the spine will be the same as the back/front, so I changed that.

I agree and I removed them. Thanks, rolyateel!

This image could be used for the parable of the prodigal son. I traced it, cleaned it up and made some corrections.

It is a gorgeous cover! And I'm so looking forward for the real copy.

Cover looks great. Wonderful how this has come together. Thanks to all involved. One suggestion, would it be possible to include a couple of blank pages for personal notes, favorite quotes etc.

I agree that the cover looks great. And think it would be great to have blank pages for notes (as was mentioned earlier in the thread, as well).

Great looking cover. Thanks to all involved.

Fascinating to follow the networking in action on this project. Like Psyche, I look forward to have the real thing.

Very nice grini, along with the inputs from others - good one. :)

I have been following this thread for some time now and I must give thanks also to those involved in putting this project together. The book looks great and I can't wait to get my hands on one! Two thumbs up you guys!
