rolyateel ... my favourite version so far - nicely balanced!
Only suggestion: I would reduce luminosity of the FOTCM logo a bit to tone it down.

If i may make a couple of suggestions regarding the cover graphics. After Looking at the thumbnails on the forum page and then opening up the jpgs something feels slightly off to me, I like each of the options, they are all great, with the cover8-1.jpg being my preferred option, but the feeling i get is the text box feels pulled towards the bottom, even though the text box is centered on the page, it feels like it has an uneven balance, could be an optical thing. I tried lifting the text box and text more towards the cassiopaea stars which seemed to help. It could be just me FWIW.

Just adding my acknowledgment also to these great workings by you both. :)
For some reason plate # 13 seemed especially notable, kind of subtle as the logo blends in with the cosmos, like it is one. However, not opposed to the colour logo proofs either - all are nicely done.

Maybe you can move it more to the bottom and make it a little bit bigger?
Gertrudes said:Ametist, the image entitled "faith" immediately reminded me of how I feel when I'm doing EE. I've actually had similar images, only 3D and in color, popping into my mind during the meditation, only difference being that rather than seeing the universe as a globe, I get a sense of an amorphous something, a vastness if you will, of which I see no end "pouring" into me through the top of my head (maybe not how you would describe it, but that's how I saw it so far).
I just found it interesting to see an image that felt so familiar.
Gertrudes, that's exactly how I would describe it. Thinking of what C's say about thoughts and ideas, both my drawing and your inner images can be somehow related more than just by their subject. The interconnectedness of centers (in human) between each other, and the rest of environment was something I wanted to evaluate on here, and the faith as this comfort with and within the creation. I was in a normal waking state while thinking up/making it, but the sets of symbols seem to assemble 'for' me before I realize all their aspects that fit the concept I want to show, it's fun! This is also one image that I feel needs most work still.
They're all mostly simple and immediate connections and relationships, as legibility is principal to me when trying to convey something that is a more or less defined concept, and when dealing with such vast area of esotericism I don't feel the need to etiolate and mistificate anything any more than it is already even if put it plainest terms.

And thinking about the parables, "The Temple Of Secrets" by Von Eckarthausen quoted in "The Wave" came to my mind immediately.
Wouldn't it be beneficial to include that one too?..
It's also like a bigger 'scheme' to esoteric work, pointing out dangers and pitfalls. I always found it very memorable, sobering and relevant at any stage of The Work.
I couldn't dig it out in Cassiopaea website, but here's the link from another forum:

I also like cover 13 the most.
Life is an ongoing miracle. It really is a miracle. And the one thing I have learned just in the past few years is that if you don't see something miraculous in your life, if it seems dark or sad or it seems like a burden, the most miraculous thing you have is your ability to choose to be that miracle. I mean, to be it. I think once people choose to be a miracle, the universe reflects that back to them.

ametist said:-That's exactly what I was thinking while scrolling down through all different options, "The text box in the middle is out of balance" and then next image was the text box in balance. Everything is an optical thing in graphic design, and it mostly depends on the smallest adjustments whether the image is going to work or not. I know it can get frustrating when one person designs a cover and there is a parliament participating in the process, it's always the case ;)
But, if you aren't to tired with that, I thought maybe making the 'C' constellation just a tiny bit smaller, and same with the FOTCM logo and moving the logo a little bit up? It's just my impression (ignore it at will!) that there might be too much space between the rectangle and the logo, it kind of 'stretches'. And thing with the FOTCM logo is that in this setting it cannot go unnoticed, so the focus could be diverted more to the title itself and the balance would be on it if the logo is smaller. But I don't know if that isn't over-advising, so, up to you, Mister!

I like 8-2.

I can't tell because that file dropper site won't work for me - is there a way to just attach them to posts here as grini has done?
I agree although I do like the images.Approaching Infinity said:I really like your images, ametist. I'm wondering if some of them are a bit too psychedelic for this project, though. What do you all think? Maybe it's just me. I think the ones I listed above work, though.
