I also feel a rush of excitement about the crop circle that the team's considering as FOTCM's logo. It resonates with me, as it clearly does with others here.
I might add I also like the idea of using a symbol that takes its cues from that crop circle that has been shown.

By the way, I was brainstorming ways to present FOTCM to the public...

Thanks for sharing your ideas, the online quiz might be something to consider.

Today I wondered about making up a slogan or two, that would be carried along with FOTCM name. So, recognizing the fact that the world does not really know what a religion is anymore, a slogan, or catch phrase, could be invented that tries to address this issue in some way. Something that might make someone curious to then go read the principles or something?

"Fellowship of the Cosmic Mind: returning religion to what was supposed to be".
or
"Fellowship of the Cosmic Mind: a religion for open minded people with conscience and empathy"

I suppose that last one sounds a little ridiculous with the "conscience & empathy" i.e. psychopaths don't need to apply... but maybe you see where I am going here and someone can probably make a better one. I am just brainstorming here.

Fwiw,

Well, I seem to have a program running that tells me I'm not as wise or knowledgeable as most others here, so I should just be quiet and let more qualified members offer help. I know PART of that is true - I'm definitely not as knowledgeable as many of you. But I don't think that should stop me from contributing.

Hi Alderpax,

I think the best chance is, just jump off the fence, so to speak. Most of the members started that way (unsure, maybe unwise too), but the positive result has been, they learned through their participation.

And as you see yourself, not to take part in, because of this or that -excuse-, is "just" a program.

Just a preview of my own. Based on that crop-circle spoken about before. If you want to see a bigger version just click on it.

With some textures on it, well it can become pretty awesome.

But a logo must be simple. In order to recognize it.

I don't see any image, even when I copy and paste the image location into a new tab...

Fellowship of the Cosmic Mind: an upward way.

Fellowship of the Cosmic Mind: to know and love.

Fellowship of the Cosmic Mind: the reconstruction.

It may be due to browser settings. I could see it at home (Firefox), but can't here at work (IE)

How about:

"Life is religion. Life experiences reflect how one interacts with God. Those who are asleep are those of little faith in terms of their interaction with the creation. Some people think that the world exists for them to overcome or ignore or shut out. For those individuals, the worlds will cease. They will become exactly what they give to life. They will become merely a dream in the "past." People who pay strict attention to objective reality right and left, become the reality of the "Future." "

For an abridged version, simply "Life is religion".
