Yup, seems so. I think it is partly information overload plus the craziness of the world. We've had the Cs view on things for awhile, but I don't think any of us - including me - was able to imagine how it would all play out. Now we see it right before our eyes and, I don't know about any of you, but it is still shocking to me to see how insane it all is. I could NEVER have imagined what is happening now. And it sure is overload even when you have some idea of what it is, what is going on, and where it is leading. Just imagine what it must be like for people who have very little clue in respect of hyperdimensional driving of our reality?
I read an article the other day about people becoming mentally exhausted by the news, the constant back and forth, and so on. Well, yeah! No kidding!
Everyone is being assaulted on all sides by a confusing and seducing mass of slogans and ideology. Everybody is talking about "freedom" and "equal opportunity" and "diversity" and "democracy". The truth seems to be that both sides are being used to enslave humanity in the worst way imaginable. What we are seeing is people reacting to this based on their spiritual needs, but they don't realize that it is all twisted and propagandized: liberals and conservatives both are being induced to choose the same form of slavery from totally different angles.
The problem with the whole mess is the materiality of it - even the "Christian Conservative" materialism. Most people focus on the material aspects of things: freedom to do this or that (pick a side and read Haidt's book). People want significance in their lives either to satisfy their own ambitions or to at least be no worse off than anyone else. The liberals want to achieve significance by forcing some sort of "equality" that they can then control (i.e. power). The Conservatives want to be left alone to claw their way to the top without hindrance (i.e. money and power). But in BOTH cases, it is materialism that they think will set them free, ensure democracy, however they define it.
But what is true freedom? Not being controlled by any of this, to live each day fully aware of what is inside you and outside you (as much as possible) and thereby having the ability to choose wisely that which is good for your spiritual nature, your soul. And those choices come every day, every hour, every minute. True freedom is to CHOOSE to follow the path of soul enrichment and growth.
thank you very much for this warning as i go to sun nearly every day since last year. At the same time, I love so much this warm from the sun. Will decrease my sun-exposure, anyways.Pretty much. I think that being outside under a bit of shade is a good way to get indirect sunlight which we DO need.
The thing about "materialism" is that it is ingrained in the monkey body. How else could it be different?
It's one thing to try (and maybe) succeed to get out from under that for some, but for most, it's still about resources.
For those well fed, they can extemporize but why choose any specific social ideology?
I noticed the same! Then, I look at the skies and there is often a sun halo that days when the difference of temperature is high, with cold air under the shade and burning sun. Sun halo is a sign of cooling wheather, there are some articles on sott about it.And while the sunrays are too much aggressive at the same time I noticed that If I get under a direct sunlight I cant stay there more than a few minutes but if I go under the shade just a few meters away it is getting much colder. What I want to say is that while the sun rays seem more aggressive the air is much cooler. Maybe this is one more sign about the global cooling. The atmosphere is getting cooler.
That said, taking care of the physical body looks like only one piece of the puzzle, and emotional and mental cleanses are also really needed. I've been touching on these things the past couple of months with some journaling, but it looks like I need to step things up and really break through the surface and start some excavating!
1. If you have not already done so, read the entire book you
are using a bit at a time (Healing Back Pain or The Mindbody Prescription). After that, read the psychology or
treatment chapter every day. Pay close attention to what you read, especially when you see things that remind you
of yourself.
2. Set aside time every day, possibly fifteen minutes in the
morning and thirty minutes in the evening, to review the
material I am about to suggest.
3. Unconscious painful and threatening feelings are what
necessitates the pain. They are inside you; you don’t feel
them.
4. Make a list of all the things that may be contributing to
those feelings.
5. Write an essay, the longer the better, about each item on
your list. This will force you to focus in depth on the
emotional things of importance in your life. There are a
number of possible sources of those feelings:
a. Anger, hurt, emotional pain, and sadness generated in
childhood will stay with you all your life because there
is no such thing as time in the unconscious. Feelings
experienced in the unconscious at any time in a per-
son’s life, including childhood, are permanent. Physi-
cal, sexual, or emotional abuse will leave large amounts
of pain and sadness. But not receiving adequate emo-
tional support, enough warmth and love will also re-
sult in anger, sorrow, and pain, maybe never felt as a
child, but always there in the unconscious. Such
things as excessive discipline or unreasonable expectations will also leave emotional marks. Anything that
prevents a child from being a child falls into this cate-
gory and should be put on your list.
b. In most people with TMS, certain personality traits
make the greatest contribution to the internal emo-
tional pain and anger. Put these at the head of your
list. If you expect a great deal of yourself, if you drive
yourself to be perfect, to achieve, to succeed, if you
are your own severest critic, if you are very conscien-
tious, these are likely to make you very angry inside.
Sensitivity to criticism and deep-down feelings of in-
feriority are common and also contribute to inner
anger. In fact, feelings of inferiority may be the major
reason we strive to be perfect and good.
If you have a strong need to please people, to want
them to like you, or if you tend to be very helpful to
everyone and anyone, if you are the caretaker type and
are always worrying about your family, friends, and
relatives, these drives will also make you furious in-
side, because that’s the way the mind works. The child
in our unconscious doesn’t care about anyone but itself
and gets angry at the pressures to be perfect and good.
c. Just as the inner mind reacts against being perfect or
good, it also resents any kind of life pressure. So you
should put on your list anything in your life that rep-
resents pressure or responsibility, like your job; your
spouse, if you are married; your children, if you are a
parent; your parents, if they are living; and, of course,
any big problems that are going on in your life.
d. A subtle but important source of inner anger in some
people is the fact that they are getting old and also
that they are mortal. This is more common than you
would think. Consciously, we rationalize; uncon-
sciously, we are enraged. Close personal relationships,
no matter how good they are, are often the source of
unconscious anger, because it’s very hard to be con-
sciously angry at a parent, a spouse, or a child.
e. Add to your list those situations in which you become
consciously angry (or annoyed) but cannot express it,
whatever the reason may be. That suppressed anger is
internalized and becomes part of the reservoir of rage
that brings on TMS. The angers we talked about
above are repressed—you don’t feel them, you don’t
know they are there.
Sincere Seeker says, " I have suffered with chronic hives and deep edema for over ten years and have tried every kind of doctor and specialist I could find. I've had many tests and alternative treatments and a dizzying array of prescriptions. Nothing worked for long. Dr. Sarno's method is absolutely amazing. Utilizing his method, which is really just learning about chronic pain, my hives disappeared before my eyes. I had a method of dealing with them, making them go away, before I even finished reading the book with no drugs, no equipment, nothing. It was and is absolutely amazing...totally incredible."
Q: (Pierre) I have two questions. Me and others have noticed that the sun’s rays seem more aggressive over the past few years. Are the sun's rays becoming more aggressive?
A: Yes
Q: (Pierre) Why?
A: Cosmic conditions. Breakdown of magnetic field, cosmic rays, and cosmic dust.
Q: (L) Are there any kinds of like cosmic rays or rays from the sun that are hitting us that wouldn't ordinarily be hitting us if our magnetic field was up?
A: Yes
And a good breeze carries through into the shade quite nicely the sun particles on a burning hot day.Pretty much. I think that being outside under a bit of shade is a good way to get indirect sunlight which we DO need.

I think "Sun: Zinger Mode" needs to be added to CassWikiSo, if it's abnormally cold, warm, rainy, snowy, or whatever, and then suddenly there's a beautiful sunny day, it's kind of likely that this sunny day will be a "zinger".
...And what would we do without all that delicious bacon? But don't convert to Islam just yet...
