agreed, and yet, am i the only one that feels that people as well as sheeple have become very cynical from all this end-of-the-world ferver ?
if the idea and scare tactics are pushed too strongly, it backfires and becomes a joke.
i feel that, generally, the shock-threshold people have nowadays is way higher due to movies, video games, teevee etc'

Yes. The phenomenon is clearly happening and, like TP, the cynicism I see is concerning. It's good in one way, but can bias a person to NOT SEE patterns that are crucial to survival. And surely that is the intention of the PTB.

I have heard sounds like that, and not only once. But I cant be sure that they are not human made. There are construction fields around me every once and then, plus there is never stopping background noise of the highway and the city, always like big humming. And it didn't sound like the trumpets, I would say like heavy machinery working somewhere, very slow and distant drilling or maybe big chains clapping on some metal surface, something like that.
I did notice sounds like that when for example I read something and I'm really into it, and then I open the window. My reaction is usually "oh, no, they are working something again, now we will listen to this every day", and usually don't pay attention to that anymore :)
So, where I live, it is really difficult to tell. We have the birds acting crazy, like thousands of crows making big noise (didn't have them here before).

Now that is interesting because in my particular location which is Aberdeen, US. Huge flocks of Blackbirds stopped by for about a week, and just sort of hung around chattering, i have lived here for about 5 years, and this is the first time i have seen them stopping here, and so relatively late in the season.Arbitrium Liberum said:

The baseball one also proves the normalcy bias at its best. The players and crowd are into the game as ever!
I for one have seen enough to have no doubt that the phenomenon is real, and the debunkers are the 'Doug and Dave's assigned to the case. To think of the implications!

Yes the sounds at 0.41 is very much like the horn trains use before entering a tunnel for example.
About possible connection between comets and trumpets here is the first page of a book published in 1619:
