I don't really know what to make of it. Perhaps the questions are simply grouped, so that five questions determine the score on being paranoid, five other qestions detirmine the score on being schizoid, etc. I'll see if I have some more time to experiment today.

What about taking the test under your own gender, then take the test using the same answers under the opposite gender? Since they do ask the test taker to indicate gender, I wonder about some of the criteria being used. Imho, I find that quite a few gender differences are learned, or an artificial creation of the socialization process.

I just want to say, I am almost done with my B.S in Psychology and this just has the feel of the kinds of test we make as undergraduates to get a feel for creating surveys as test instruments. With what would seem to be approx. 5 questions per disorder, it would not be enough to diagnose someone with anything - not to mention I am sure some of these questions could overlap into different areas. If I knew someone who scored well above 50% on an area and I knew they were having trouble in some areas I might suggest further evaluation, but I would not even begin to consider this as a good diagnostic tool, especially considering I don't see any mention of who the author of this test is and it puts the full weight of the validity of the test on the honesty of the response without mentioning the fact that the test might have validity issues. Any good psychological test will have information regarding experiments done to assess the validity of the tool being used.

Just my two cents. I am sure most of you are aware that this isn't really a tool to be used for any kind of real diagnosis, especially of oneself.

Actually, I think I mentioned that myself in one of my earlier posts, lol. :) I just brought these points up since people were discussing the test itself and different points about it. But that's why I said "I am sure most of you are aware" because of the very fact that it is in the Tickle Me section. I just wanted to reiterate, not that I'm the number one authority with only (almost) a B.S. in Psychology, that it shouldn't be taken too seriously - That's all. :D :P

this test probably doesn't mean much. I think it would be best to take it without thinking much. like answering the questions in a very reactionary manner without analyzing. then the results might be better. I took the test really fast, but I did start to think about one of the questions for a minute. After that I had no idea how to place myself or based on what.

It felt good to get a low narcissistic score. not that the test means anything. it still felt good.

I think these questions much be organized in some way. maybe 5 all in a row per diagnosis. seemed to be similar themed questions together.

I cannot believe the mod on the first page got such a low score for everything wow sorry I can't go back at the moment to look at your name.
even if this test is really inaccurate I think getting a low score for everything is pretty impressive. then again perhaps a psychopath would score generally "better" i.e lower percentages, then the non psychopath person.
