I did not find this test to be revealing or conclusive at all... all the same I'm glad I took it, all in fun I guess. Some of the questions were a little funny. It really surprised me to see Histrionic as my lowest score. And Schizod as my highest... :scared:

Yes, but how will you be taken seriously by others if they think you're weird, transientP? I think it essential to have as much
street credibility as possible if we want to have any chance of sharing any seemingly controversial information with others (if they are open to it in the first place), otherwise the message/truth will dismissed along with the messenger. We need good social skills.

Mine, I thought that the Narcissistic and Histrionic would be much higher and borderline lower, but well. :)

not at all ! that's quite fine that you point this out.
i find that in my case at least, being a bit "weird" / unconventional doesn't seem to hinder me being taken seriously or having my opinion heard. :)

but then again, i find the most important thing lately is to be as balanced and helpful as possible.
 
I respect your "good" attitude when it comes to criticism. (Mine isn't as good, hmm.)
And come to think of it, you don't come across as a weirdo imo.

yeah.. it's more the "little-things" they find weird.

people find my asexuality to be weird. they cannot understand someone not be interested in what everybody's told is the most interesting.
they find constant thirst for knowledge to be weird too.

but i guess delving into this might be for another thread.

maybe there could be a "What is Weird?" thread.. :)

Any attitude that is not borrowed straight out of a magazine or conventional wisdom is dubbed weird by most.
What was it Mark Twain said? "When you find yourself on the side of the majority, it's time to pause and reflect", or words to that effect.

Agreed. Social interaction/functionality ought to be the practical result of any "personality". I guess transientP is "functional" weird, and can get off with being weird without being ostracized or perceived as a threat by OPs.

I'm Work-ing on being nicer & more approachable to strangers....because I used to be so shy that I ended up being rude lol. I found that it's as easy as making a remark/greeting, and everything snowballs from there.

Yeah, I've got a lot of Work to do as well, such as being overly critical of myself and others. Who do I think I am? Then I can get depressed and dispirited, because I've got so much to work on. But I ain't a quitter, so I've got that going for me, especially when given a kindly prod from fellow forum members. :)
I must say, the super-brain exercise not only clears my brain, but puts me in a very mellow and more objective mood, and the effects are long-lasting.
