I am in Central Florida and as of today's mail have not yet received it. I was very happy to see Laura's article on Sott, it eased my withdrawal pains!!
It does appear to me that something fishy is going on. I know someone mentioned on this thread that it may be something to do with 'media mail', but any books I order from Amazon arrive within a few days. And my Mother sends me books by 'media mail' from California and they never get delayed in transport.
I have recently had some problems with overseas purchases including my subscription to Sott through World Pay. I bank with a Credit Union (vs. a Bank) and they were using a third party monitoring company that froze my payments on several purchases from companies outside the US. I called the monitoring Co and they said they could not answer my questions I would have to call the Bank. I called the bank and they said it was because it was an overseas purchase and I had to sign up for 'verify by Visa'. I was particularly upset that they froze payment on a subscription/regular monthly payment that I have had for over a year. That is in no way a suspicious transaction. After several unsuccessful attempts to sign up for 'verify by Visa', and several phone calls to the bank (they could not help me because verify by Visa was a separate entity), I was frustrated and wondering if the PTB or whatever was intentionally trying to make it hard for us to send our money outside of our own country, or maybe stop payment on 'particular' purchases or something?
Anyway this doesn't necessarily have anything to with incoming mail, and if something untoward was happening it would more probably be due to the fact that DC represents Laura's work, and God Forbid anything resembling Knowledge were to reach us without a struggle, if at all. But I can't help but think of my banking issue after reading that so many of us here in US are still waiting for a simple delivery of a magazine regardless of the county of origin. And that I spent two weeks and a dozen phone calls trying to give my money in exchange for research, knowledge and health beneficial products. I am beginning to think that there is some kind of Conspiracy going on here!!!! Maybe they are trying to get us 'coming and going'!
In the mean time, I got to pull out the last issue for my visiting Mother to read Dr. Segura's article on DMSO. She was amazed not just by what DMSO can do, but by that fact that the article was so well researched. She was rubbing the gel over her inflamed joints, her spider veins and even put some on a sty that was developing on her eyelid. (She was in town for my Nephew's wedding and didn't want that sty showing up in the pictures!) When my brother was complaining about the pain from his dislocated disc SHE told him he should try some DMSO! So today my Mother and I went to the local feed store where she purchased some gel and some roll-on! Now this may not seem strange to you guys, but this is my mother who is very mainstream medically, economically, and who thinks that the news people wouldn't lie to us, the government has our best interest at heart and that mainstream doctors really save our lives. For her to purchase DMSO for veterinary use (not approved for Human use) without a prescription is nothing short of a miracle!!
Well, I can't wait for the latest Dot Connector to finally arrive. In the mean time I have alot of reading to catch up on since I have been busy with my Mother in town this past week.
