The Dot Connector Magazine Joins Forces With SOTT.net!

WOW!!! What a magazine, we recieved one yesterday and one today...
What is the best way to pay for the extra? Just send a check to Colorado?
New Light on the Black Death is very informative, thank you!!!
I'm really starting to look at the natural medicines around the mountains of NC, and in depth articles about symptoms and what to expect
especially when you have Fukushima and comets. Instead of being scared, we can prepare ourselves with knowledge and abilities.

BTW it is really hard to tell anyone, anything... Someone remarked about their swollen lymphnodes, sore throat, and headache that
persisted for 2 weeks. I said well you have corexit from the Gulf and radiation from Japan. You know what this person said back to me
BULLS**T!!!

Sorry to get off topic. Thanks again for DCM

Hi anitasweetie you can Donate here : http://www.sott.net/page/3-Support-Sott-net

Received mine yesterday (21st April). :) Postmarked 14th March, so took 5 weeks to get here (New Zealand).

I also have received mine just moments ago in perfect condition and with no unusual marks on envelope; like the others, the postmark is March 14. Thank you Mr. Scott et al also for the pdf copy; gives me more courage to give away the hard copy! (but not quite yet!)

I wonder if making the pdf copy available at time of ordering for an additional fee would ameliorate some of the stress?? The publication is already such a great value, I wouldn't mind paying the extra while waiting for the hard copy to arrive.

Got this e-mail today from a subscriber:

Hi Scott,

Just to let you know that after you sent out a 2nd copy of issue 13 at the end of last month, it arrived straight away within 2 days, as normal.

Also, suprisingly today the original copy has decided to suddenly appear. It's definately the 1st copy as the French stamp is dated 14.03.11.
Envelope seems to be still sealed, just a little man handled with a couple of little tears. Not many clues as to why it took so long as the address label is clearly visible.

The only thing i can pick up on to suggest foul play is there are 2 44 digit barcodes, one overlayed on top of the other on the front of the envelope. Did a little searching and they seem to match a KIX 4-state barcode format, this is only used by dutch mail delivery service Royal TNT, which makes sense as they cover the UK and other european countries. The barcode should hold the receivers postcode, as both codes are totally different (so maybe points to at one time the receiver wasn't addressed as me), i tried looking up the codes on each label using TNT's own barcode table. It's really easy, you look up the 1st set of 4 lines, then the 2nd set and so on, against their barcode sybol table and it gives you the letter or number it relates too. Checked a few sample barcodes with no problems, but these sets of lines just arn't listed, it's as if the receiver these barcodes relate to have a different sybol chart, effectivly masking the receivers address from anyone reading.
I've checked and there's no other barcode format i think it could be, it's a little like others, but they have less or alot more digits and extra stop, start and checksum lines that this code doesn't fit at all.

I've attached a photo of the barcodes in case you want to look further into this to find out where the magazine went, the top barcode in the photo was over the lower barcode.
Here's a link to the barcode sybol lookup chart (page 4): Link to PDF

If you were to wanting to divert someones mail they posted, it does sound like a good easy way of doing it, just apply a barcode sticker at the first sorting office with an alternate address, if the barcode overrides the address label, then let the sorting machines do the rest. Not trail as nobody can read the barcodes, apart from the sorting machines...

Let me know if you'd like me to return this 1st copy?

I think it would be really helpful to have the input of someone who works for the postage service on this. Anyone know anyone who might be familiar with how this works?

For the record, I received a total of four magazines - 3 DCM and one Oenologues magazine! They were all nicely strapped with blue nylon. The top DCM was addressed to me while the two copies in between were addressed to two different persons in New Zealand. The Oenologues was at the back of the bunch and post marked 15 Mars 2011 and addressed to another person here.

So it looks like someone at the post office back in France just strapped the 4 magazines together and shipped it off to Nouvelle-Zélande! I'll be heading off to the post office shortly and informed them that the 2 DCM and the Oenologues magazine were delivered to the wrong address. I don't know the forum names but whoever you are, just hang on a while longer for your DCM copies. :)

Ya know, I can't help but think that all of this postal madness is symptomatic of the "macrocosmic collapse". Our wonderful "civilization" is breaking down in a nonlinear way! And while it will probably prove problematic to one degree or another for all of us, only a lunatic (and someone who subscribes to Oenologues magazine!) would mourn it.

am I the only person who thinks that there is something fishi going on ?

maybe you guys should consider something in the upcoming issues if you know what I mean.
a control mechanism to get an Idea what is happening.
part of it could be that you discuss this with subscribers you trust privately as a backup system for you.
I think it would be importand to do it privately not in the open if you know what I mean.
(only you and the trusted subscribers should know this in order to "guarantee" that others don't know it)

if that would be done via internet, phone or mail you should consider to do it with codes (for safety reasons)

just a strange thought.

Okay done. The wrongly delivered magazines have been returned to the post office and the guy behind the counter assured me that the magazines will be re-delivered to the correct addresses. Hopefully you should get it before the end of next week. And attached is the image of the other magazine that was in the bundle that I received.

FYI- Receive DOT on Thursday April 21st in NY. Just a quick lookup on FEDEX it would cost 82 Euro to ship to the states. So that would be out of the question. I know the US Post office offers tracking info like the Fedex and UPS but do not know the cost. Anyway any type of tracking system would help. Or another idea: Distribution points within country. Say there were 1000 copies being sent to the states. Send it bulk to Denver then redistribute from there. Same process with other countries with large mailings.

I'm contemplating filing a complaint with my post office, with the hypothesis that 'the squeaky wheel gets the grease'.

What do you all think?

We're short money wise, and haven't been able to order the PDF version of the magazine yet. (Though I'm wondering if we scraped it together, if the magazine would 'magically appear' then. )
