The Dot Connector Magazine Joins Forces With SOTT.net!

Hmm I got this message too. But I only subscribe a few months a go (for 2 years) And only received one issue so far (issue 13)

So I'm confused.. do I have to make another subscription again? Has my payment for the 2 years been refunded? Sorry if I'm not understanding correctly :(

I have got a strange message through my Paypal account. They informed me that "FotCM has cancelled your regular payments for 6 issues of DOT Connector Magazines". Can you help me to find out what happened? I have sent an email some days ago to FotCM that does not appear in my "Sent folder". So I cannot see if it really was sent and thought of reposting it on the forum. I want to continue my payments and can´t wait for the next issue :)

I received the same message yesterday and was wondering what could have happened. Fortunately I saw your post before starting a thread to ask for directions. I too would like to continue my payments. Great stuff in DCM!

Thanks Pashalis

I had read all that yesterday, but was still confused. From what I understand now, my subscription is basically good for the 2 years I've signed up for already, but after it ends in 2 years.. I will manually have to renew it again.

I hope I got that right now :P

Deedlet,

I'm with you, also confused.
For instance, I do not understand if this cancellation implies money was returned for the subscription (remaining years).

Nonetheless my situation is different. I did not use then the PayPal option, I used a money transfer.
So I do not have an electronic record to see my "status". Nonetheless I assume my 2 years subscription is still valid.

I'm sure an admin can clarify both issues.

We have canceled all recurring PayPal payments for current subscriptions. This means that subscribers will still get The Dot Connector, but subscriptions will NOT auto-renew like they did before. When your current subscription is about to expire, you will receive renewal instructions first via post, and then via e-mail.

Hi,

I have a question, both for the DCM website as well as the EE website. In the Netherlands there is a very handy on-line paying method called 'iDEAL'. As I will soon start promoting these two in the city I live in (but I'll network then when I do), I think it will be handy for Dutch buyers if this option would be there.

So my question is, is it possible for you to put this on the websites? Some more info: _http://www.ideal.nl/?lang=eng-GB

I looked into the details for accepting payment through this org and they have quite stringent requirements, much more than paypal for example. Since paypal is so easy, both for customer and merchant, I think we'll stick with paypal.

Okay! Thanks for looking into it.
