That's just crazy! But I guess we should expect more and more craziness like that - and worse.

And it was really interesting how meteorologists in all TV News in Croatia were convincing audience that this is NORMAL!!! Talking about dulling...

Added:

Actually I was sun-bathing and swimming in Adriatic from Wednesday to Saturday and I was not the only one - 'summer' season has started and everybody is so ecstatic expecting record tourism numbers in Dalmatia but I am suspicious:

Yep , I am thinking the same and it will be interesting to witness (if) sudden turnovers....

Wow, this is incredible. Is it summer in Slovenia? I suppose... But I am not sure. Pardon my ignorance. :-[

Here in Spain is weather of summer, much too hot. I tried to take sun but the sun is to potent. We are in Spring, so this weather is not normal, also...

Some other parts of Europe have a similar trend like southern Germany and Switzerland. Actually it would fit into the "icemen"-time where a return of the winter is possible for a short period of time, but at the moment it is a bit over this specific time period and meteorologists are a bit clueless.

Also some parts of England have some cold weather and a bit snow:

Yes its Spring in Slovenia. But the weather is just like in the middle of the winter. Bosnia also. Here in Macedonia where i live its cold also. Its raining and its very cold.

Actually, in old folklore terms nothing out of the ordinary seems to be happening since the Ice Saints period lasted from 11 trough 14 May this year. This period in Springtime is known for what is called the last winter dip in Spring.
The Ice Saints is the name given to St. Mamertus, St. Pancras, and St. Servatius in Flemish, French, Dutch, Hungarian, German, Austrian, Polish, Swiss and Croatian folklore. They are so named because their feast days fall on the days of May 11, May 12, and May 13 respectively. In Flanders St. Boniface of Tarsus is counted amongst the Ice Saints as well; St. Boniface's feast day falling on May 14. The period from May 12 to May 15 was noted to bring a brief spell of colder weather in many years, including the last nightly frosts of the spring, in the Northern Hemisphere under the Julian Calendar. With the change to the Gregorian Calendar, however, the equivalent days would be May 23–May 26.

Holy frijoles! That is just crazy!

The following older photo; not from an IPCC file, they can't show these types - shows an ominous snowy conflict that may be a growing reality in some locations. This past season in some parts of the Rockies, Purcell and Monashee ranges; and elsewhere, snowpack was up to 140% of normal.

Something is happening in the weather for sure. Since 3 days our temperatures went down around 23 degrees. Last week we had temperatures around 30 (too hot) and this weekend they were around 9, 10. Yesterday hail fall during 5 minutes. Very strange. (I live in Spain.)

Yup, it's cold and raining here. The thermometer outside the window says 10 degrees, but I'm sure it is more like 8 or 9 since that thermometer is right next to the house and always shows a couple degrees warmer than it actually is outside. Of course, the weather website says it is 11 which is a lie. And guess what? It's supposed to keep raining and get colder for the next three days at least. I've got all my flowers planted and they are crying for the sun. The apple trees in the farmer's land next door are crying too, I think.

I hope the weather here in south west germany will be warm and sunny the next couple of months.

this year I'm planting 40 tobacco plants for the first time (8 different sorts. all with a high nicotin content :D)
they don't like to much rain , cold and wind so I hope the weather will be ok.
I can't wait to see them grow and later harvest their leaves.

I'm a bit afraid of the slugs because they love to eat the young tobacco plants
has anyone an idea what I can do about them ? (I don't want to use chemicals).

the other thing that might become problematic are lice but I think I found a good natural remedy !
a guy on youtube explained how he got rid of the lice on his tobacco in just one day:
he used a strong tabacco (nicotin) solution. I have a bunch of Nicotiana rustica tobacco left, wich has a extrem high nicotin content,
I'll make a solution out of it and then spray it on to my plants !
I guess this is a very good way to get rid of lice !

Today enters the 7th week of more rain. Off, and on from rain to overcast sunny, then back to the rain. But the rain predominates this area at the moment.

The area mountains have picked up some snow as well, which is good for future water needs, but, some concern to what is in this rain fall.

Local's are stoking there fire place, as chimney's were churning up smoke, a sign that the area has dipped in temperature.

Love to see the sun for solid week....it would be......
