Come on - is this for real, i mean seriously ?!

I have tested this a couple times out of a mix between boredom and curiosity when smoking a cigarette on my balcony and then using a lighter to burn a snowboll.

Yeah, it turns black-ish, and yeah, it appears at first not to melt because the first water gets absorbed into the harder mush. So it doesn’t drop water immediately. Eventually it does melt and water will start to drip.

Try it out.

I do not know if is real or not. After the post, I had been reading other comments about the must possible logic explanation and, as you already mentioned it is due the gas of the lighter, and other circumstances of that state of the water (snow). Tried it with an ice cube, the one that came from a plastic bag from a store, it leaved this darkish color - little, it melt rather quickly. The one that was made with the water at home, it did not.
Cannot do it with snow, there isn't over here.

Had been following at tweter since then, she - I assume she is a she, is doing interesting and - I dare to say - alarming observations.

My bet is after a few months, this will all die down in people's minds. Their new found indignation at massive pollution will fade with the next news that draws attention. Pollution is nothing new to Ohio/Pa (and other industrial areas). We've been living with these threats forever and the nation stayed silent... How about acid mine drainage which turns our waterways orange, makes the waterways DEVOID of life. How about the fire that burns underneath my town....for decades! Or the fracking pump stations placed every 10 or 20 miles...they give off unseen pollution into the air. How about the coyotes that come into town since their habitats have been invaded? How about the urban sprawl because ppl leave their towns to gobble up small farm land...of farms they did not support by paying more...to live in huge houses which demands that civilization be dragged out into and destroying pristine areas of fields and woods? Leaving behind a concentration of povery, crime and filth?

I could go on and on...I appreciate people's urge to report and spread news...but people like East Palestines need your forever support...Because these industrialists, these developers of areas we don't need (shopping malls maybe?) can afford laywers that we can't...they pummel us in our outcries and play the long game of winning....If you have wealth or expertise or a burning intrest...pick one place, one group of locals and lend support.

East Palestine should setup a GoFundMe or whatever they are called and GIVE THE PEOPLE A CHANCE to help. The mayor should be thinking of such stuff. Best example (good and bad) were the Truckers in Canada.

There’s no way that the problem is chlorinated polycyclic hydrocarbons. You can’t create more complex molecules from combustion. Vinyl chloride won’t produce these when it’s burned.

Everything you mentioned has been covered on this thread, to include this train accident. There’s roughly 1,000 train derailments per year, most we never hear about.

Most of the hysteria that exists can easily be disproven. Dioxins can’t form from vinyl chloride ect…. It just requires a little research before posting.

Many of the larger US railroads are managed by large hedge funds and financial investors such as Vanguard, JP Morgan and BlackRock, as is the Norfolk Southern Railway, one of the major railroad companies east of the Mississippi River.

According to some sources, Norfolk Southern has since been trying to pay affected residents $1000 “inconvenience” fees because they have been exposed to dangerous, toxic carcinogens. BlackRock and Vanguard will try to use it as a waiver of all future claims, they say.

The disaster train, traveling from Illinois to the Conway station on February 3, ran over a sensor that detects heat on the train’s wheels and axles and reported that the wheels were on fire. What is now known is that instead of stopping to inspect and repair the damage, the train crew was instructed by the dispatcher to proceed towards Conway, allowing the train to travel 20 miles at a speed of 30 kilometers per hour to East Palestine Station.

Meanwhile, the wheels overheated. Videos from surveillance cameras have now surfaced online showing sparks flying from some of the overheated wagon axles. Some of the cars derailed, causing a fire.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency on Tuesday ordered Norfolk Southern to conduct all necessary actions associated with cleaning up the the fiery train derailment in East Palestine, stepping up its oversight efforts after residents complained about rashes and other health concerns.

The order came a little more than two weeks after a Norfolk Southern freight train carrying hazardous materials derailed in East Palestine on Feb. 3, spilling chemicals into the environment and spurring health concerns. Five of the cars contained vinyl chloride, which was discharged through a controlled release to prevent an explosion.

As part of the order, Norfolk Southern will be required to:

● Identify and clean up contaminated soil and water and transport it to the appropriate facilities.

● Reimburse the EPA for cleaning services offered to residents and businesses, which will be conducted by EPA staff and contractors.

● Attend and participate in public meetings at EPA’s request and post information online.

● Pay for EPA’s costs for work performed under this order. EPA officials will approve a work plan from the company outlining all steps necessary to clean up the environmental damage caused by the derailment.

If Norfolk Southern fails to complete any actions as ordered, the EPA said it will immediately step in, conduct the necessary work, and then seek to compel Norfolk Southern to pay triple the cost.

“I know this order cannot undo the nightmare that families in this town have been living with, but it will begin to deliver much-needed justice for the pain that Norfolk Southern has caused,” EPA Administrator Michael Regan said during a news conference in East Palestine Tuesday.

The EPA will offer cleaning services to area businesses and families in an effort to address concerns of potential indoor contamination and provide residents with “peace of mind,” Regan said. According to the EPA, Norfolk Southern will reimburse the agency for the costs of the cleaning services. More details about how to request cleaning services will be announced this week.

Regan was joined by Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine, Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro and U.S. Rep. Bill Johnson, R-Marietta, as officials sought to assure East Palestine residents that they won’t be abandoned.

Officials continue to test the air, water and soil around East Palestine and say the village’s water is safe to drink. Results from private well testing are still being processed. Regan said the EPA is confident in its testing technology, but he urged anyone with health concerns to seek medical attention.

“I believe people when they say they’re facing adverse impacts,” Regan said.

Norfolk Southern has pledged that it will stay in East Palestine until the area is cleaned up and returned to normal. But Shapiro said he believes the company needed to be compelled by the EPA to act.

“It is my view that Norfolk Southern wasn’t going to do this out of the goodness of their own heart,” Shapiro said.

The media and government are both repeatedly using the phrase, “controlled burn” to describe the setting fire to the liquid vinyl chloride monomer that was being carried by the Norfolk Southern railroad.

Vinyl chloride is made solely of three elements: Carbon, hydrogen and chlorine. In its simplest form, it looks like this (the monomer, liquid form is on the left, and the solid poly form is on the right):

Although vinyl chloride is somewhat toxic, it’s nowhere near as toxic as the dioxins created by burning vinyl chloride without fully incinerating it. Low-temperature combustion actually produces far more toxic compounds than what you started with, in other words.

Put another way, if you incinerate it as a hazardous waste at > 2000 degrees (F), you will destroy the molecule’s morphology and end up with just the individual elements such as carbon and hydrogen, each of which is relatively harmless by itself.

But if you ignite vinyl chloride in an open ditch, you create a dioxin factory that produces extremely toxic molecules from the combination of heat and oxygen. After this relatively low-temperature combustion (an open fire in a ditch), you have now converted relatively harmless vinyl chloride into extremely toxic, persistent toxins known as dioxins.

In effect, you’ve just increased the toxicity of this substance by perhaps 10 orders of magnitude or more, given that dioxins can be toxic at exposures well below billionths of a gram. A femtogram is one millionth of one billionth of a gram, and dioxins can produce toxic effects at femtograms of exposure.

In fact, competent scientists have concluded that there is no safe level of exposure to dioxins. Not even one femtogram. That’s because at any level, dioxins begin to produce toxic effects on biology, no matter how small the exposure.

This Natural News article is just garbage. There’s a difference between vinyl chloride and polyvinyl chloride which the author doesn’t comprehend. One can produce dioxins from combustion and the other can’t. Everyone should do some research, there’s a saying called “Trust but verify”. This Wired article, from 'U.S. Right to Know' came in today in a weekly update, - Wired (quick check on bias 'suggests' left-of-centre but factually high due to proper (?) sourcing).

Some familiar background in the article regarding East Palestine, though the article does mention Dioxins and bentkostka informed earlier here that Dioxins don't come from PVC. Aside from that this article takes a step back to look at the use and awfulness of the pervasive substance, plastic. We're reminded that what starts out in plastic doesn't stay in plastic, being easily degradable by heat and freezing, leaching everywhere.

Taking awider view - a bigger picture, though not the biggest picture.

I'm guessing around 700 meters.

The reason I am doing this is that I learned how to use NOAA's HYSPLIT simulator which is on line and this information is important is doing it more accurately.

We still have the question: is the “real” event real, or just as fake as the one in the movie predicting it? We don’t need to go to theory to figure it out, I have now unwound hundreds of these events. Were any of them real? No. Some of them had real components, as does this one in Ohio. First he cautions not to be taken in by the reports coming that are so dire as we don't have good information yet about all toxins present. Ramping up fear and lies is #1 in their tactics as we know from covid.

Several landowners told him they think they are being forced off their land since there have been a number of incidence in the past involving this . Ohio has the second largest oil deposits in the USA and also its prime agricultural land. The ongoing psyop is first fear then demoralization. Deadly poisons are in the air then demoralization with how the feds don't respond. He describes how this could work into the WEF plans. He also mentions there is a lack of workers in Ohio since many people have left over the years and moving illegals into this area as the work force may be the plan. Recently Pete Buttigege got a lot of flack for saying we have to many white men in construction. Also, watching the congressional hearings on the open southern boarder, it was mentioned twice by an official from El Paso that these people can be sent to locations where labor is needed, a good thing he thinks.

Dr. Chambers was speaking with a Amish farmer just over the boarder in Pa. and he hasn't noticed anything with his land or animals. This alternative explanation gives me hope that things may not be quite as bad.

Linking up with the local populace and developing the situation on the ground shifted our focus in route. I have been on the move and have had limited time for research, so this exquisite roll up is beneficial and cuts time. "Many hands make light work" sir, and I thank you for the input.

The focus of my assessment, with limited resources and personnel has been shifted to ascertaining the real truth on what the bad actors are attempting to blanket in a shroud of smoke.

It appears the people of the ORV, the stake holders and farmers, are no strangers to heavy handed federal policies and the subsequent large scale corporate profiteering which has resulted from the global shift to green new deals and now carbon footprint exploitation of wealth and resources.

Understand that my BLUF "Bottom Line Up Front" and "So What" focus is an attempt to bring to light the diversionary tactics that have been so regularly played upon the citizens of this great nation. It is not an attempt to diminish the importance of the potential second and third order effects of the controlled release and burning of the listed chemicals from the tanker cars involved in the East Palestine derailment. Time and true analysis of soil samples paired with public health monitoring will reveal the actual damages pathologic toll to life. A modicum of cautious monitoring will still be required.

Based upon our four day assessment of the surrounding areas and local Key Leader Engagements these are my preliminary findings:

1. On Feb. 3, just before 9 p.m. ET, a Norfolk Southern train derailed near East Palestine, Ohio, a town of about 4,800 people near the border with Pennsylvania. Nobody was hurt in the accident, officials say.
2. Of the 120 cars, 20 cars contained hazardous cargo. About three dozen cars derailed overall, 11 of which were carrying hazardous material, investigators said.
3. Five of the derailed cars were carrying vinyl chloride, a manmade substance that is a key ingredient in PVC, the hard plastic resin used widely in construction and health care.
4. To my knowledge a decision was made to release the chemicals and conduct a controlled release in order to destroy said chemicals and a plume of smoke resulted in a large plume of smoke rising into the atmosphere. I have not confirmed the area affected other than what was reported by early coverage and early NOAA tracking paired with prevailing winds reported on the "Windy" app. This was how we developed our movement plan and investigation zones.
5. Through multiple key leader engagements with local citizens groups, to include the MOVCAC group leaders and Team America citizens groups, as well as members of the Amish farming community deeper concerns for a diversionary tactic appeared to be at play. The citizen's demeanor was one of concern for those affected in the hot zone, but one of simply "here we go again."
6. It appears the Ohio River Valley has been a regular target of the corporate privateer and political exploitation of resources which are setting the stage for a deeper plan fitting a more globalist agenda with regard to energy, mineral, and food production sectors. A more difficult to quantify target is the attack upon the populous themselves to force a "human osmotic pressure" wave, leaving property uninhabitable and resources available for exploitation.

KEY FACTORS REQUIRING DEEPER INVESTIGATION:

1. The practice of Injection Disposal Wells resulting in the collapsing of shallow oil and gas wells owned by local mid level production companies. Note: the government is granting billions of dollars to buy "un-producing" oil wells.
2. Nuclear Waste / Spent Rod Site at Parkersburg (Circa 1953 - coming to "corrosion of barrel" date in 2023.)
3. The future $50M investment by SEN Joe Manchin and GOV (WV) Jim Justice's project in Morgantown, WV to develop incinerator plant to burn waste and inject byproducts heavy in carbon back into the earth resulting in the privateering of CARBON CREDITS by major corporations.

However, a labor shortage affecting the construction industry could make it hard to recruit the workers it needs for the $20 billion job, ​

Once finished, the 1,000-acre site will house two factories, or fabs, and employ at least 3,000 people.
