Trump Elected: The True MAGA Era Begins, Now What?

Well, the big beautiful bill as far as farmers go...is a power grab, nothing else.

We just got an tax assessment change notice. As expected our land which is classified as agricultural got 15% hike despite the fact we got property damage due to natural course this year :mad: We are planning on disputing the assessment, but more likely than not nothing will change.
I'm sorry to hear that Honzap, very annoying I'm sure. It seems to me we have this new government with Trump writing EO's for many things and talk of how things will be changed for the better. But the same regime is still running the show and they intend to continue on with their power grabs. The corruption is vast and deep. I understand that Trump only has about 1/2 of the various positions filled at this time and without certain people in place business continues as usual for the crimes. Plus we have the issue of who is being placed in some positions who are not qualified for different reasons. We still need to fight and scream and that seems to be helpful actually. So if your up for the fight maybe things will go your way.

We're still in the same old stew but at least we have some possibility of good changes happening.

Are there any property tax resolution companies where you live? Or do you already have one? If not check into that, they can be a big help in reducing the market value used to calculate your taxes.

Trump hasn’t made up his mind about ‘Genocide’ taking place in South Africa. In spite of his seemingly assured utterances earlier in the meeting.

At the end of this hour-long exchange in front of the White House press pool in the Oval Office. A reporter asked President Trump if he had his mind made up that there is indeed a genocide taking place in South Africa against white farmers and he said "I haven't made up my mind." For all the certainty that he spoke with about what is going on in South Africa; when he was faced with that very pointed question he hedged.

Catherine Austin Fitts appeared on Danny Jones' podcast. As always, she's interesting to hear, but I wanted to bring up the aspect of the control grid and DOGE:
Danny Jones: So, Trump has been super pro-Bitcoin. What's your take on this current administration, or at least when Trump was running?

Catherine Austin-Fitts: Trump was put in by the bankers to get the control grid. The other team in the uniparty wasn’t moving fast enough. They couldn’t get the control grid. I knew it. I’ve never—I sent you a link. We just did a new collection of all the things Trump is doing to move the control grid. He is moving very, very fast. When it comes to building—

Danny Jones: What exactly is he doing to push this control grid?

Catherine Austin-Fitts: First, he’s getting the Real ID implemented very aggressively. To do a control grid, you need a very high-quality, precise national ID that’s interoperable with all the other IDs around the world. He’s got Kristi Noem out there pushing the Real ID like there’s no tomorrow. They’re working, and it’s done through the states, but the feds are pushing it. The first thing you need is a digital ID. The second thing you need is an all-digital financial system, so you’ve got to kill cash and make everybody interact digitally. If you look at what he’s doing with taxes and Social Security, he’s trying to make everybody—you know, he’s canceled pennies, but he’s also canceled—now, normally I pay my taxes with paper. And now he’s saying, “No, you’ve got to do everything digital for—it’s not this year, but next year really.” So, he’s trying to—if you go through that list, I’ve got like 50 different items of what he’s doing.

Danny Jones: What about the Genius Act and stablecoin? Can you break that down?

Catherine Austin-Fitts: He said no CBDCs, but stablecoin—so I don’t know if you’ve read the Genius Act, which is the new plan for stablecoins. A CBDC would be issued by the Federal Reserve, presumably the New York Fed and the Fed member banks. They are owned by their members—Citibank, JPMorgan, they own the New York Fed and basically govern it. The New York Fed is the depository for the Treasury, and the different banks work as agents to do those transactions. Under the Genius Act, what they’re saying is the guys who own the New York Fed are all going to create subsidiaries and issue stablecoin, which will be interoperable and can work with a social credit system. Here’s the beauty of it: the New York Fed, under the law, has direct obligations to Congress, and Congress has jurisdiction over them. If you do it through the owners of the Fed, through their private subsidiaries, you’re going to have some degree of freedom. So, it gives you more freedom. Oh my god. If you think this is an improvement, you have another thing coming.

Danny Jones: How does this stablecoin plan work, and why is it significant?

Catherine Austin-Fitts: What they’re planning to do on stablecoin, which I have to say as a financial matter is quite clever—remember the pallets of cash sent to Iraq?

Danny Jones: Oh yeah.

Catherine Austin-Fitts: This is going to be the digital equivalent of the pallets of cash sent to Iraq. A stablecoin is just a bank deposit or a Treasury bill or bond, fully collateralized by a dollar. You put a dollar in, and these stablecoins—I mean, you have some stablecoins that do gold or other things, but these are going to be dollar-based. This is going to create a huge market for Treasury bills and bonds. The bank subsidiaries will create the stablecoins, fully collateralized in Treasury bonds or bills, but then you can send them out on Google Pay and Apple Pay and all the wallets around the world. Literally, you can get people from Bolivia to South Korea coming into your state and using stablecoins. You’re literally going to tend for the global population, try to get everybody off their local currency into stablecoins, and you’re going to pump out massive amounts of private credit to make it really attractive. So, you’re just going to hand out money and get everybody on the dollar.

Danny Jones: Don’t you think the BRICS would try to compete with this?

Catherine Austin-Fitts: Of course they would.

Danny Jones: Do you think this is something that could legitimately be implemented? If so, how soon?

Catherine Austin-Fitts: I think as soon as you pass the Genius Act, it can go very, very fast.

Danny Jones: Where are we at right now with the Genius Act and it getting passed?

Catherine Austin-Fitts: I’m assuming it’s going to pass sometime soon. If it doesn’t pass before the session breaks, it’ll pass in the fall, is my guess. You could really see the world rock.

Danny Jones: Is Trump aware of all this stuff? What’s his motive, or is he basically a useful idiot here?

Catherine Austin-Fitts: I don’t know Trump. I lived in New York for 11 years, and the PR firm we used did his business too. Everything I know about Trump, I know from Howard Rubenstein and company. But I think Trump is in a box. All I see—I have to judge people by what they’re doing, and what it looks like to me is Trump and Musk are implementing the control grid at high speed. Don’t believe me, go look at that list. To do a control grid, you need a digital ID implemented that’s very high-quality, precise. Check the box. You need an all-digital financial system. Check the box. You need a way of doing interoperable money. Check the box.

Danny Jones: You mentioned what DOGE is doing. What do you mean by that?

Catherine Austin-Fitts: DOGE, from what it looks like to me—and I’m basing my assessment on what I know from DOGE, the Financial Times, the Wall Street Journal, and Wired, which has done a very thorough job of trying to document what’s happening in the systems—basically, what they’ve done is, if I wanted to stop fraud in the U.S. government, I would say there’s 20 trillion missing from DoD, a trillion missing from HUD, I’m going to go in, figure out where it went, and get it back. That’s not what they did. If you said to me, I want to build a social credit system that can enforce control against the American people and lock them down with both enforcement and social credit, I would go get the Social Security data, the IRS data, and the Treasury payment data. That’s exactly what they did. I would privatize it, put it in private AI with XAI and Palantir AI, and if Palantir still has the contracts with Treasury and the IRS to enforce, you’ve got everybody. You had the God Kennedys aggregating the healthcare data. You put it with the healthcare data. They’ve been aggregating this kind of powerful data since the ‘90s. I used to call it the data beast.

Danny Jones: So, combining IRS data, healthcare data, and all that with AI?

Catherine Austin-Fitts: Exactly. The federal government has generally done a pretty good job of siloing the data to protect privacy laws for many applications. But this unsilos everything, moves it private, and puts it on an out-of-control basis, is my guess as to what’s probably happened. Now, this is conjecture, remember? But if I wanted to build a control grid, that’s exactly what I would do.

The General dude appears to not reside in South Africa- but feels confident enough to provide a general perspective "they are hunting White people in South Africa for sport". Where did this take place- which area province? Is this behaviour common here? When did this take place? What is the context for the aggressive actions? Is the person attacked a Farmer? Why is he isolated and a Mob is around him? The area looks rather poor -Is this the attacked persons home or the attackers ? Can the General dude pick up on the little of what is being said in the video to derive context? Does he wish to? Or does he only want to provide this clip- project it a way that befits his narrative?

If I had to guess the White Individual has travelled to those peoples' home. And not that they went to him. If so why did he feel the need to go there? What is the context? What did he do previously? Is he being attacked simply because of the color of his skin? Did he do something personally to aggrieve this particular community? If so; then what?

Noting in the poorest of communities of Africa when a person is publicly found/ seen/ caught in the act of committing a crime (doing wrong) in a particular neighbourhood- the entire neighbourhood joins in, in a mob like fashion to attack the person that has committed the crime (be it attempted theft, or otherwise) - it's not just seen as a crime against one individual or family- its an attack on the entire neighbourhood.

As soon as it becomes headline news you will place ideas in the minds of some society disgruntled people that wish to commit violent crimes with an excuse to go out and commit such crimes.

Trump warns Israel not to attack Iran, but Netanyahu is willing to ignore POTUS

US President Donald Trump confirmed on Wednesday that he asked Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during a call last week not to take military action against Iran that could disrupt Washington’s ongoing nuclear negotiations with the Islamic Republic. Times of Israel

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is threatening to launch a strike on Iran's nuclear sites even if the United States secures a diplomatic agreement with Tehran—escalating fears inside President Donald Trump's administration that a surprise Israeli attack could derail ongoing nuclear negotiations, according to a New York Times report.
U.S. intelligence agencies assess that Israel could execute a strike within seven hours of Netanyahu's order, giving Washington little or no time to intervene. The growing rift between Trump and Netanyahu is now prompting urgent, high-level talks between senior officials from both countries, the report said. Newsweek

Here's the link she's mentioning:

Follow up on this:

The Trump administration is collecting data on all Americans, and they are enlisting the data analysis company Palantir to do it.

The New York Times reports that President Trump has enlisted the firm, founded by far-right billionaire Peter Thiel, to carry out his March executive order instructing government agencies to share data with each other. The order has increased fears that the government is putting together a database to wield surveillance powers over the American public.

Since then, the administration has been very quiet about these efforts, increasing suspicion. Meanwhile, Palantir has taken more than $113 million in government spending since Trump took office, from both existing contracts and new ones with the Departments of Defense and Homeland Security. That number is expected to grow, especially considering that the firm just won a new $795 million contract with the DoD last week.

Palantir is speaking with various other agencies across the federal government, including the Social Security Administration and the Internal Revenue Service, about buying its technology, according to the Times. Palantir’s Foundry tool, which analyzes and organizes data, is already being used at DHS, the Department of Health and Human Services, and at least two other agencies, allowing the White House to compile data from different places.

The administration’s efforts to compile data began under Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency initiative, which sought Americans’ personal data from multiple agencies including the IRS, SSA, Selective Service, Medicare, and many others. In some cases, court orders hindered these efforts, but not all of them.

Thiel has multiple ties to DOGE, both through Musk and through many of his former employees working for the effort or taking other jobs in the Trump administration. And this data collection effort could give him, Musk, and Trump unprecedented power over Americans, with the president being better able to punish his critics and target immigrants.

Privacy advocates, student unions, and labor rights organizations are among those who have sued to stop Trump’s data collection efforts. Palantir’s involvement also gives a powerful tech company access to this data, and its CEO, Alex Karp, doesn’t exactly have a benign agenda, hoping to cash in on American techno-militarism. Musk, too, has plans for government data, using his AI, Grok, to analyze it. Will anyone be able to stop Trump and these tech oligarchs?

Looks like C.A. Fitts (and Whitney Webb and others) were correct about DOGE being something of a Trojan Horse. When Trump survived the assassination attempt, the PTB mobilized their Technocrats to actively engage with MAGA slogans/priorities and use that as social justification for the mass gathering of population data. Interesting timing that Musk is leaving DOGE just as Thiel is stepping in more. I'm pretty sure Trump and MAGA meant well, but looks like they were duped.

So what did the Saudi's really buy? Is there more here than what meets the eye?

In an attempt to answer my own question, I think we've been given a clue by the leader of Sudan, Abdel al-Burhan, in his letter that he published on 5/19/25.

It has become clear that in the wake of the defeat of the Rapid Support militia, which is a proxy of the United Arab Emirates, by our armed forces, which is the legitimate institution charged with defending the homeland and protecting its resources, the United Arab Emirates has stepped up its aggression against the Sudan support and channeled still more of its capabilities into supplying that mercenary militia with advanced strategic weapons and military equipment.

From Sunday, 4 May 2025 through this morning, the Sudan has been battered by systematic terrorist missile and drone strikes directed and sponsored by the United Arab Emirates. Strikes have hit vital strategic installations, hydroelectric power plants, civilian and oil facilities, and the Port Sudan port and airport, in a flagrant attack on the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Sudan. These criminal attacks have included civilian installations in the city of Port Sudan, where tens of thousands of civilians have taken refuge since the war broke out. They have also targeted the Merowe Dam generating station and electrical plants in the cities of Gedaref, Madani, Kassala, Dongola, Shendi, Merowe, Atbara, Kusti and Port Sudan.

Today, the Sudan is facing well-planned and executed air attacks that go beyond the capabilities of the Rapid Support militia. These attacks are being conducted via the Red Sea...

Abdel then goes on to state that the United Arab Emirates has, "clearly violated the Charter of the United Nations... the 1977 Organization of African Unity Convention... the 1989 International Convention against the Recruitment, Use, Financing and Training of Mercenaries and various counter-terrorism treaties, conventions and protocols."

What makes his letter particularly notable is that presumably the UAE (and others) have been meddling in Sudanese affairs for many years, but the latest attacks were so blatant that Abdel felt there was enough evidence to go public with his statements:

In response to this flagrant ongoing aggression by the United Arab Emirates, on Tuesday, 6 May 2025, the Government of the Sudan took the following decisions:

- It declared the United Arab Emirates an aggressor State;
- It cut off diplomatic relations with the United Arab Emirates;
- It recalled the accredited Sudanese embassy and consulate-general from the United Arab Emirates.

All of that to say, I wonder if Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE in some way purchased the Greater Middle East with their $2 Trillion in deals struck with Trump. This of course coincides with Trump seeming to abandon the special US-Israel relationship which had been the dominant power center in the region for decades. Couple that with Trump's remarks of calling the the middle east, "The Center of the World" while in Riyadh and I start to get the impression that the Middle East now has new managers who are free to do as they please with minimal interference from the US. This of course does not mean that the Zionists are defeated, just that they are perhaps rebranding and relocating after finally losing the PR battle after decades of genocide.

If what I proposed is somewhere near correct, and the UAE's recent attack against Sudan is a sign of how things are going to go, we might have more chaos in the Middle East, not less, even if the Israel collapses peacefully (which is highly unlikely).

All of that to say, I wonder if Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE in some way purchased the Greater Middle East with their $2 Trillion in deals struck with Trump.
This analysis suggests that Trump is trying to find a balance between the Saudis and Turkey/Qatar in Syria:

The current Syrian government seems to be backed by Turkey and Qatar, though the first official visit of the Syrian jihadi "president" was to the Saudis - probably to get reconstruction investments.

I've seen a warning from a video with Dr. David Martin that there is another 'Event 201' paper out, detailing a plan for a possible future livestock-based bioterrorism scamdemic.

We had Covid during Trump's 1st term, which the C's said was accidental:

Session 21 March 2020

A: The virus did not appear first in China. There were experiments at Fort Detrick regarding the creation of a vaccine that would make humans more controllable. This vaccine had unexpected effects and in some cases did the opposite of what was intended. The strain escaped into a population and further mutated. Indeed it was carried to China by US soldiers. China soon knew the type and origin and launched a massive campaign to control the situation. This was seen by Western powers as a good model to follow with additional add-on factors. In the meantime further mutations have occurred, some engineered via STO forces by virtue of the virus taking hold in certain persons whose spiritual force was able to direct the progression. At this point, there are two major strains. The elite need to stop the spread of that which they "created".

So, why not give it a second try - but this time make it count? It would put Trump, RFK Jr. and Gabbard in even more hot water while locking everything down again and trying to force vaccines, etc. It would also have the benefit of distracting from the failure of the Ukraine plan, and China's rising dominance would maybe stall if the global economy came to a screeching halt, etc.

The language in the paper's intro states that the totalitarian measures during covid weren't enough. This time, the outbreak would not be due to an accidental leak, but due to bioterrorism, adding a 9/11 level of hysteria to everything that would be pretty irresistible. And due to the livestock origin and spread, it can also be a good excuse for shutting down agriculture worldwide, in particular meat production, and targeting rural communities.

So, not saying it will happen for sure, but at the very least it's a look at how the PTB are thinking about the problems they're facing. And probably a good idea to keep an eye on the 4th of July.

The following hypothetical opening remarks by the chair of a congressional joint inquiry provide context for this report by portraying a biological attack sufficient to cause the catastrophic consequences warned of by the Bipartisan Commission onBiodefense. The scenario describes how a biological agent could target humansand animals, how disease could emerge, some of the key interagency capabilities required to address the agent and its impacts, and the consequences of failure.

JOINT INQUIRY INTO ADMINISTRATION AND CONGRESSIONAL ACTIONS BEFORE AND DURING THE BIOTERRORIST ATTACKS OF JULY 4, 2025

US HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES PERMANENT SELECT COMMITTEE ON INTELLIGENCE AND US SENATE SELECT COMMITTEE ON INTELLIGENCE

CHAIR: I call this first hearing of the Joint Inquiry to order. Nine weeks ago, some nation or terrorist group—we still do not know who—attacked the Nation’s Capital and other US cities with biological weapons as we celebrated Independence Day.

The infectious agent they used killed at least 280,000 Americans and infected at least 400,000 throughout the country in a single day, in addition to the 200,000 dead and 800,000 sickened animals. These numbers will increase as the disease spreads. Many of our own colleagues and staff here in Congress fell ill and died.

Coordinated attacks in allied nations in the days that followed killed tens of thousands more.

We are now hearing that the terrorists conducted smaller scale attacks in American cities and localities prior to the July 4 incidents to test our defenses and gauge our responses. These smaller-scale attacks went largely unnoticed.

Laboratory tests confirm that Nipah virus caused the disease, but we still do not know what methods our adversaries used to infect humans and spread the disease among livestock in rural communities.

Animals and people were sick for more than a month before we realized what had happened. While the virus is in the same family as other common human and animal viruses, most American veterinarians and physicians had never seen Nipah virus before, which delayed recognition. The virus, which in nature does not spread easily among people, was genetically modified to increase its ability to spread from animal to-animal, animal-to-person, and person-to-person, while still retaining a mortality rate of over 40%.

For years before this, many experts said that although nation states and terrorist organizations aspired to use biological weapons, they lacked the leadership, organizational wherewithal, infrastructure, expertise, and social support to develop and deploy them.

Despite these assessments, our adversaries conducted the deadly biological attacks of July 4 here and throughout the world. They took advantage of

• our failure to eliminate the vulnerabilities revealed during the COVID-19pandemic;

• our failure to conduct sufficient biological intelligence activities to indicate an imminent attack;

• our failure to achieve early detection of the biological agent and our failure to identify the source of exposure in a timely way;

• our failure to rapidly identify and recognize its occurrence in livestock;

• our failure to rapidly identify the disease in people;

• our failure to consistently fund public health and health care preparedness;

• our failure to stockpile sufficient medical countermeasures; and

• our failure to communicate effectively within the government, to our allies, and most importantly, to the American people.

Ultimately, our adversaries took advantage of our failure to make biodefense a top national priority. It is especially painful to me and the other leaders of committees throughout Congress that we failed in our duty to gather the necessary information and data, connect the dots, produce intelligence, and prevent and attribute these attacks.

Sadly, much as the 9/11 Commission observed in its analysis of the attacks of 2001, the attacks of 2025 can be ascribed to failures to heed many warnings and commit to preventing biological events from affecting our national security.

There were failures of prediction, early warning, and detection:

• the diplomatic, intelligence, law enforcement, and military communities failed to discover intent and provide advanced warning of well-planned and direct attacks on the United States and its interests overseas; and

• the Department of Agriculture, Department of Defense, Department of Health and Human Services, and Department of Homeland Security failed to detect the biological agent upon release.

There were, and continue to be, failures to respond effectively:

• the Department of Agriculture and Department of Health and Human Services still have no way to prevent additional infections, treat exposed people and animals effectively, thwart the establishment of pathogens in new reservoirs, or prevent the disease from becoming permanently established in the United States; and

• the Department of Agriculture, Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, Department of Health and Human Services, and Department of Justice failed in their initial efforts at attribution.

As I speak, critical infrastructure owners and operators and emergency service providers are struggling valiantly to do their jobs while keeping their own families safe in the absence of adequate protection. Our military is splitting resources to help with domestic response and overseas operations, and the Intelligence Community is spread thin trying to prevent our enemies from taking further advantage of our vulnerabilities to biological and other threats.

Our national leadership at all levels—federal and non-federal—failed to heed the advice of the 9/11 Commission, the Weapons of Mass Destruction Commission, the Bipartisan Commission on Biodefense, and many other experts who warned of the dangers of biological terrorism and warfare. They failed to appreciate the gravity of the biological threat, generate political will, and take action in the face of looming danger, even when COVID-19 demonstrated how severe a biological threat could be.

We are convening this hearing today to discover exactly what happened, how this leadership failure occurred, and what our Nation must do to recover from these attacks. We also intend to determine what it will take to prevent additional attacks and ensure our country has done all it can to be prepared for the next biological event in case these efforts fall short.

Two highly informative interviews streamed today, June 2nd, in light of Ukraine's [US/NATO] escalation of attacks on Russia, specifically Operation SpiderWeb*, now being characterized as a "Russian Pearl Harbor", and was Trump in the loop at all:

*
Russian bloggers have already dubbed "SpiderWeb" a "Russian Pearl Harbour," and the comparison is not without merit. Like Japan’s 1941 assault, the SBU’s operation was sudden, targeted strategic assets, and aimed to cripple the adversary’s military capabilities. Western experts, such as Nico Lange, have noted that "SpiderWeb" exposed the vulnerability of airbases worldwide, effectively rewriting the rules of modern warfare.

Yet, unlike Pearl Harbour, which was a military strike amid open conflict, "SpiderWeb" bears the hallmarks of a terrorist operation. Its methods - using civilian infrastructure, such as lorries, to deliver drones - flout international norms. Russia’s Ministry of Defence has unequivocally labelled it a terrorist act, emphasising that the targets were not directly linked to active combat operations.

One cannot ignore the question: how did Russian security services allow this to happen? The operation, prepared over eighteen months, involved smuggling 150 drones across the border and establishing launch sites deep within Russia - an alarming failure of counterintelligence. The FSB, tasked with thwarting such sabotage, was woefully unprepared for this level of infiltration. Past incidents, including Ukrainian agents recruiting via social media and attempting sabotage at military sites, suggest a pattern of vulnerabilities. The SBU not only planned but executed an operation of this magnitude without facing adequate resistance.

It's more than a little troubling when someone like Col. Larry Wilkerson says he scared for the future of his children and grandchildren.

A hopeless situation is one that cannot be improved.
Ukraine is one such hopeless case and gets worse with everyday that passes. PR is all that it has .
Its future is no more than a compendium of defeats mirroring the West's failed attempts at imposing its will on Russia.
The 3rd. World War began very badly for the West and so it continues. No amount of PR nor rhetoric will change its adversary
particularly when Trump has no leverage.

US reshuffle of pro-'Israel' officials alarms occupation

A series of high-level removals within the US administration has raised alarm in "Israel", as key pro-"Israel" figures are dismissed amid growing tensions between President Trump and Netanyahu over Gaza and Iran.

Israeli officials are expressing growing concern over a series of unexpected personnel changes within the US administration, which have targeted figures long regarded as staunch supporters of "Israel", Israeli news outlet Ynet reported.

The shake-up comes amid escalating tensions between US President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over both the war on Gaza and a possible strike on Iran.

Among the most notable dismissals are Merav Ceren, a dual US-Israeli citizen who oversaw the Iran and "Israel" portfolio at the National Security Council, and Eric Trager, who led Middle East and North Africa policy. Both were appointed by former National Security Advisor Mike Waltz, a strong supporter of "Israel", who was removed by Trump.

Their removal was reportedly executed by Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Waltz’s successor.

Another high-profile figure expected to be removed is Morgan Ortagus, deputy to special envoy Steve Witkoff and in charge of the Lebanon file.

Ortagus's leaving her post, although unfavorable for "Israel" due to her critical role in efforts to disarm Hezbollah, marks the departure of a controversial figure in Lebanon, with her statements, such as thanking "Israel" for what she claimed was defeating Hezbollah in the Presidential Palace in Baabda, inflaming tensions in the country, flouting proper protocol, and meddling in Lebanon's internal affairs.

Her dismissal, which sources say was not voluntary, has shocked officials in "Israel", where she was seen as a key ally. Ortagus is reportedly being reassigned to internal duties within the State Department and will have no further role in Middle East diplomacy.

According to Lebanese outlet al-Akhbar, Ortagus had sought a more senior regional role, aiming to take over the Syria portfolio. However, her responsibilities are now expected to be reassigned, possibly to Joel Rayburn or Thomas Barrack. The Lebanese file, sources noted, has been downgraded in US priorities, with attention shifting to Syria.

American sources confirmed to Lebanon’s MTV network that Ortagus had been dismissed due to internal professional issues unrelated to Lebanon. Her upcoming trip to Beirut has been canceled, and Rayburn is expected to assume oversight of the Lebanon file as assistant secretary of state for Near Eastern affairs.

Trump’s 'America First' agenda reshapes US foreign policy

Israeli sources familiar with US-"Israel" relations view the wave of dismissals as part of President Trump’s broader “America First” agenda, aimed at limiting foreign influence across the board. While not directly targeting "Israel", the shake-up reflects an internal push to consolidate Trump’s control over foreign policy.

The removal of key figures is seen as a move to sideline the National Security Council. Trump has left the post of national security advisor vacant, with Secretary Rubio unofficially assuming its responsibilities.

Consequently, Rubio’s role in the reshuffle has raised eyebrows, particularly given his history of pro-"Israel" advocacy. However, insiders note that while Rubio remains supportive, he is more pragmatic and less aligned with the Israeli agenda than his predecessor, Waltz.

Analysts believe the change signals a shift toward greater centralization of foreign policy decisions under Trump and a break from the traditionally pro-"Israel" posture that defined previous administrations.

Netanyahu feels 'betrayed'

The reshuffle has deepened strains between Netanyahu and the Trump administration. In private discussions with Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer, Netanyahu reportedly admitted he had misjudged Washington’s direction and felt betrayed by the unexpected policy shift.

Senior officials claimed Netanyahu had lost confidence in Dermer, accusing him of misreading the US administration. "Dermer misread the situation; he was convinced the US would never turn against us," said one source. "He failed to anticipate the shift in US policy toward Israel."

Though the Prime Minister’s Office denied reports of Netanyahu criticizing Dermer, sources close to the matter say the strategic relationship between "Israel" and the Trump administration is showing clear signs of strain.

According to informed sources, the push to remove pro-"Israel" figures is being led by Vice President JD Vance and Donald Trump Jr., with influence from a growing ideological current within Trump’s circle known as the “White Woke” faction. This group, which includes figures such as Tucker Carlson, reportedly views "Israel" with increasing suspicion.

"They are sowing suspicion toward Israel and telling Trump that Israel is trying to drag the US into war," one senior Israeli official warned. "This is the new America, and it’s deeply concerning to Netanyahu."

Federal authorities have arrested a Mexican national who allegedly sent a handwritten letter threatening to assassinate President Donald Trump, marking the latest in a series of violent threats against political figures amid heightened tensions over immigration enforcement.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents arrested Ramon Morales Reyes, 54, on May 22 in Wisconsin. The arrest followed a handwritten letter he allegedly wrote, which an ICE field agent obtained the day prior. In the letter, Morales vowed to shoot Trump at a rally before self-deporting to his home country.

"We are tired of this president messing with us Mexicans. We have done more for this country than you White people," Morales' letter stated. "You have been deporting my family and I think it is time Donald J. Trump get what he has coming to him."

The letter went on to describe Morales' plans to "self-deport" himself, "but not before [he] uses [his] 30 yard six to shoot … [Trump] in [his] head" during "one of his big [rallies]." The Mexican purportedly made reference to using a rifle chambered in the .30-06 Springfield cartridge to assassinate the chief executive.

According to court documents, Morales has illegally entered the U.S. at least nine times between 1998 and 2005. He also has a long criminal record that includes felony hit-and-run, domestic abuse-related disorderly conduct and property damage.

Morales remains in ICE custody at Dodge County Jail in Juneau, Wisconsin, pending deportation proceedings. Authorities have not disclosed whether he had access to firearms at the time of his arrest, but his criminal history legally prohibits him from possessing weapons.

From ICE arrests to shooting threats: How far will political violence go?

The arrest underscores ongoing concerns about politically motivated violence, alongside the security risks posed by individuals with extensive criminal histories and repeated immigration violations. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem condemned the threat in a statement, linking it to broader concerns about escalating political violence.

"This threat comes not even a year after President Trump was shot in Butler, Pennsylvania, and less than two weeks after former FBI Director [James] Comey called for the president’s assassination," she said. Noem also urged restraint in political rhetoric over fears it could incite real-world violence: "All politicians and members of the media should take notice of these repeated attempts on President Trump’s life and tone down their rhetoric." (Related: James Comey's posts cryptic '86 47' message and gaslights the public after being confronted with passive aggressive death threat to President Trump.)

The arrest comes at a time when threats against public officials have surged, raising questions about the intersection of free speech, law enforcement preparedness and the role of immigration policy in national security. Morales' repeated deportations and illegal re-entries highlight ongoing challenges in enforcing immigration laws, particularly with individuals who have violent criminal histories.

Historical parallels can be drawn to past assassination attempts against U.S. presidents, including the 1981 shooting of Ronald Reagan by John Hinckley Jr., whose motives were similarly fueled by personal grievances and political disillusionment. The swift response by ICE underscores the agency’s heightened vigilance in tracking threats against high-profile figures.

As the case moves forward, it serves as a stark reminder of the volatile consequences of unchecked rhetoric and the persistent risks faced by public officials in an era of deep ideological polarization. The arrest also reignites debates over immigration enforcement, with supporters of the administration's hardline stance arguing that repeated border breaches by violent offenders demand stricter measures.
