According to the AP and other news outlets, the past couple of nights have seen rioting in a Muslim-dominated suburb in Sweden, much like Paris saw recently. Of course this could be exaggerated news spread by those who want Muslims to look bad. The AP claims it is just a drug-related fight. The whole "Muslim immigrants are criminal rapists out to git white women" is meant to be disturbing. There may be a few trouble-makers who make the rest of Muslims look bad. I'm having a hard time believing the report that alleges Sweden has the highest rape rate in Europe.

Bannon may appear to be a shadowy figure who came out of the blue to manipulate a narcissistic POTUS. That perception stems somewhat from the MSM who are obsessive in going after Bannon's relationship with Trump using this particular meme. Whenever the MSM gangs up on a person, I find it interesting and wonder why the person is being targeted. Ex-CIA Operative and writer Robert Steele has written a memo to President Trump warning him of what he needs to prepare for. He says a “violent American spring” is being planned for May 1, 2017. He says John Brennan is the major culprit of the war against Trump. We knew of George Soros, but Cheney and Brennan are new culprits.

Steele says there are 70% of the public which Soros does not own, and Trump needs to reach these people. He believes Trump needs to create his own TV channel, and sit down with the American people for a few minutes each day. Further, he says he has tried to reach Trump, but he is deeply isolated. He is reaching out to Trump to ask him to meet with him, Jessie Ventura, Cynthia McKinney, Dennis Kusinich, and Ralph Nader. I totally agree with President Trump meeting with these people, as to my knowledge they are all working for the people of the United States and no against them.

There's been some noise - unsubstantiated - from a few conservative outlets that Rence Preibus, his assistant Katie Walsh, and John McCaine are behind the leaks to undermine Trump. McCain was thick with Dick Cheney in the old "Bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb bomb, Iran" days.

Wouldn't be a bad idea for Trump to meet with Robert Steele, Jessie Ventura, Cynthia McKinney, Dennis Kusinich, and Ralph Nader. Although I highly doubt that would happen.

FWIW, a couple of my Republican acquaintances despise the Bush regime now, including Cheney. They think they're fake conservatives and globalist scum. Of course things aren't hunky-dory in Sweden - especially since NATO opened the floodgates by bombing Libya and Syria. HOWEVER, assuming that Pipes' comparison of US and EU suburbs still holds, then relative to the US, things are 'hunky-dory' in Europe.

It's almost as if they want such ('no-go zones') in Europe in order to... what? To be able to say... "See, it's worse over there than it is here! See, Euros, we feel your pain! See, you need us! You need more security and less socialism!"...?

There have always been rougher neighborhoods in Sweden, Paris and Brussels. And those rougher neighborhoods have always been Muslim-heavy. And they're rough because they're poorer, not because they contain Muslims! But this paranoid fantasy that they're ruled by hordes of Sharia-mandatin', mass-rapin' Muzzies is INSANE!

Well, it used to be completely insane. Agree. My take was that Trump was probably intentionally speaking unclearly, so the media would spin the story, which they did by claiming he was referencing to terror strike. Then all the media show attacking Trump based on that looks dishonest, since it's quite obvious he was talking about the immigration problems in Sweden. This would be good tactic to make media look insincere.

I do think there's some problems in Sweden, which is understandable since they've been taking more refugees. There's been urbanization and higher crime rates at certain places but then it's also obvious that for years the situation has been used to push anti-Muslim and anti-refugee agenda. In reality these problems are better explained by poverty, not ethnicity or religion. They're not unsolvable problems or something to get hysterized about. And the whole topic should always start with discussion about Western wars in Middle-East, which is the cause of the whole refugee crisis!

Is it correct that Sweden got major problems handling the immigration? I would say yes. My grounds for claiming that is just by looking out the window where I live, inside a migrant dominated area. Almost every evening cars are set on fire and police officers are attacked by criminal gangs. But you don’t read very much about it in the Swedish main stream media.

There are lots of claims about what is going on in Sweden. On one side you have the Swedish main stream media that are very close to liberal press in the United States. We do not have anything like Fox News in Sweden, so there is not any big ”right-wing” media. Instead of Fox News, there is an ”alternative” scene with different kind of media outlets, some more serious than others. And some of them you can claim is based mostly in fake news.

But, you wont get the whole picture from the Swedish main stream media either. And you might just as well get fooled about specific claims about what is true and not.

My name is Chang Frick and i run this news outlet that you are reading right now. Ive been reporting a lot about whats going on in the suburbs in Sweden. When i work i am very often on the ground with my camera, taking photos and filming. So everything you see in the video above is produced by me. On top of that, i live in an area called ”Hallunda” in southern Stockholm. That is an heavily immigrant dominated area, mostly people from the middle east.

I see myself as a libertarian and if i could choose whoever president i would like to see in the United States it would be Ron Paul. Yeah, i am that kind of guy. But, whatever my personal political opinions are, i always put a big effort to report my stories correctly. When i do an article about something that happened in an immigrant area, i call the police and ask questions. I am always very carefully with presenting whom i talked to and i write down quotes word-by-word.

I talk to people on the ground, i ask what they have seen or heard. I never ask them what they think is going on, just what they know is going on. I also check how they know it, did they see it themselves and so on. That is basic journalism, you have to check stuff very carefully. I am not saying i am perfect, everyone can do a mistake, but i would say i put a lot of an effort to get my reporting correct.

My news outlet is not very big, but i get a lot of traffic in Sweden every time i report about what is going on in the suburbs. I would say my readers trust me a lot in my reporting, and a lot of my readers are politicians. At the same time, some critics claim that even I am producing fake news, but so far i have not seen anyone represent any evidence for it. But of course, anyone is more than welcome to look for wrongdoings from my side – that will just force me to become even better.

So, i will make some claims based on my experience of what is going on in Sweden. This is in the light of what Donald Trump recently said about Sweden.

1. You can’t get the whole picture reading Swedish MSM

The main stream media in Sweden is usually not lying or reporting fake news, even though it happens sometimes. But i would say it is mistakes and not anything that is done with purpose. A big news-outlet publishes lots and lots of stories every day, so of course you can find some wrongdoing once in a while. That does not mean the main stream media is a fake propaganda-machine. Mostly, what they claim, is usually true. There is references and all.

However, the main stream media in Sweden is not giving you the whole picture. That is a claim I can make. You see, by not reporting some issues, you are not lying. And that, I would say, gives you a better understanding how it works. And it is because of that I built my own news outlet, where I try to fill in the blank spots that you cant find elsewhere from Sweden.

There is a lot going on in the Swedish suburbs that i would say is totally out of control. Ive seen it myself so many times, i have been talking to a lot of people living in these areas. After all, they are my neighbors.

2. No, we did not have any terror attack recently

Some people in social media even thinks that because of what Trump said, there have been a terror attack in Sweden. There have not been any such event in several years. It have happened once, but that was six years ago and nobody, except of the terrorist himself, got killed. What is true however is that Sweden got a lot of people who travel abroad to Syria and Irak to join ISIS.

Those guys get radicalized in Sweden and they also get recruited on Swedish soil. I dont know the numbers, but there is estimates of about a couple of hundreds. Lots of these guys return to Sweden after their participation in Syria and Iraq. So, are those people dangerous to Swedish society? Well, if you look at what happened in Nice or in Berlin, it is essentially enough with just one terrorist to create a lot of mess. And dead people.

3. Is there no go areas in Sweden? Well, it depends who you are…

Some claim that it is really dangerous to go to specific areas in Sweden. There is a term being used in Sweden that is ”no go zones”. I live in an area often described as that and well, i can go outside any time I want and walk around the area and nothing special will happen. But, at the same time, lots of people still does not feel safe in this area. Some of them is security personell and police officers.

And car owners. There is a lot of cars being set on fire. I have not a perfect answer yet to why this is happening. Some cars that are set on fire is about insurance fraud. I would say that more of those fires is about keeping the police busy. Just a few blocks away, there is lots of drugs being sold on the streets. If there is a police with resources to act, it means bad business for the local druglords. So lots of cars being set on fire is related to this, just to keep the police busy.

Some claim that cars being set on fire is about some muslim takeover or some kind of jihad. There is no evidence at all for that. I have never really seen anything than confirms such a claim.

But what is true is that the police get attacked in some of these no go zones. I have seen, and filmed that, myself. Immigrant kids throw rocks and even molotov-cocktails towards police officers during riots. The most known riots was those in Husby in northern Stockholm in 2013. Such riots does not happen very often, but there is definately tensions just below the surface in these areas, so we can most probably expect somewhat similar stuff going on in the future.

And working as a police officer in these areas means you often need back up from your colleagues. It happen more and more often that police officers are getting physical attacked. In an area nearby where i live someone threw a hand grenade towards the police who was sitting in a van. It was pretty much pure luck that they didn’t get injured. At other occasions there is molotov cocktails being thrown at the police and other stuff that can seriously harm, or even kill, a police officer.

So, well, you can’t totally deny that for some people these areas could be considered ”no go areas”. And, oh yes, some of these areas is pretty much ”no go” if you are trying to film or takes photos. There is a big chance that you will be attacked. It have happened to me and a lot of others as well.

4. Can Sweden handle the immigration?

This is a question where the answer is both yes and no. The migration, mainly from the middle east, is changing Sweden a lot. We have areas that are not even close to something we used to have. I am of course referring to the ”no go areas”. And those areas are growing, mostly because it is really hard to get a job if you are born outside Europe. To get a job you have to learn the language, you need education and you also need to understand the social codes in Sweden.

And by social codes i mean that swedes are not very tolerant at all. For example, when i was hanging out in New York i could talk to anyone in the subway. People are open minded and curious in New York, no matter who you are. It is not like that at all in Sweden. In the subway you will find most people being quiet or just talking to someone they already know. I am just trying to pinpoint a small example why it can be hard to ”get in” to the Swedish society. And to get a job, you need to know people.

So, lots of immigrants are living on social welfare. And they have nothing meaningful to do during the days. And the kids usually have their parents as role models, so you can figure out the rest.

This is the biggest problem Sweden is facing today. I base that claim on the political discussion but also where most of the government money is spent. Notice, the discussion about where tax money is going is a tricky one, so i am not presenting any exact numbers. What i am saying is that immigration is one of the biggest, if not the biggest, cost for tax payers in Sweden.

The effect on the society is that the whole society is changing from what it used to be. Not everything with the ”new” Sweden is bad, there are of course a lot of good examples, but as it is today – the sum of the effects – is going the wrong way. More and more people feel insecure, something i am pretty sure is related to immigration – even if i don’t have any scientific paper showing it.

5. Is Donald Trump correct about his claim about Sweden?

Well, the claim i am referring to is the tweet below, a tweet that i think sums it up what mr Trump have tried to say the latest days.

And yes, i would say he is correct. This is based on what i see myself, but also what different police officers tells me and other officials working with issues related in one way or another to immigration. The issue with immigrants is the number one political question and still there are no good answers how to deal with it.

And there is another thing that most people does not talk about. It is the law abiding immigrants, which absolutely most immigrants are, that is the true victims here. It is those who is living with constant fear of what is going on. I know that because I talk to them almost every day. They are, after all, my neighbors.

I had a listen to what this Robert David Steele has to say yesterday and I can ony agree that it is very interesting. Well worth the watch:

The preposals Robert Steele makes sound very reasonabe to me. Many of them would probably be the last thing the establishment wants. Sounds to me like a couple of well founded and thought ideas that could really help Trump to battle the PTB and get the upper hand.

Apart from the missing angle of psychopathy and psychopathology his proposals sound as sound and reasonable as they can get. So I think it is a good idea to make Trump aware to what Steele has to say. It sounds like a very good strategic plan.

Interestingly Steele published his proposals there about christmas last year. One of the things he later recommended, is to fire Mike Flynn, because he (or rather his handlers) is a mole that wants to go to war with Iran and russia and other reasons. As we have seen, Mike Flynn is fired now, so maybe Trump got the message from Steele?

A Swedish police investigator triggered a media tsunami with a Facebook post linking violent crimes with immigrants. Peter Springare received an outpouring of support from fellow officers and common Swedes, as well as some accusations of racism.

Springare is a senior investigator at the serious crimes division at the Örebro Police Department with 47 years under his belt. In the Saturday post he said what he was going to say would not be politically correct and that saying such things could harm an officer's position or pay grade, but he was about to retire and didn't care.

"Here we go; this is what I've handled from Monday-Friday this week: rape, rape, robbery, aggravated assault, rape-assault and rape, extortion, blackmail, assault, violence against police, threats to police, drug crime, drugs, crime, felony, attempted murder, rape again, extortion again and ill-treatment," he wrote.

"Suspected perpetrators; Ali Mohammed, Mahmod, Mohammed, Mohammed Ali, again, again, again. Christopher... what, is it true? Yes, a Swedish name snuck in on the edges of a drug crime. Mohammed, Mahmod Ali, again and again," he added.

The post goes on to identify the origins of the suspects.

"Countries representing all the crimes this week: Iraq, Iraq, Turkey, Syria, Afghanistan, Somalia, Somalia, Syria again, Somalia, unknown, unknown country, Sweden. Half of the suspects, we can't be sure because they don't have any valid papers. Which in itself usually means that they're lying about their nationality and identity."

The post steered waves in Sweden and has since received over 36,000 'likes' and 16,000 'shares' by Tuesday. People supporting Springare's words started a group on Facebook with over 75,000 members. Among the people voicing support of the opinion were fellow police officers, both serving and retired.

According to news website Nyheter Idag, the police station where Springare works received at least 60 bouquets of flowers addressed to him on Monday - a "bloombomb" from admirers.

Others were not happy with the investigator's remark, calling him right-wing or even racist. The post was referred to the special prosecutors' office, which handles crimes involving law enforcement, to see whether it violated police regulations, according to Swedish media.

National Police Commissioner Dan Eliasson said that it was important to distinguish what an officer does in the line of duty and outside of it.

"When he acts in his professional capacity, he should be extremely careful with issues of ethnicity. If he wants to talk about the problems of crime among immigrants in his spare time, he has freedom of expression like any other," he told P4 Extra radio, adding that he knows Springare as a "very good person."

In a second post, Springare denied accusations of right-wing sympathies.

"If you can't discuss the problem of crime among immigrants without somebody attributing it to racist propaganda, we are in deep trouble," he said. "The problem is that nobody wants to talk about this."

Establishing facts about how crime rates correlate with perpetrators belonging to the immigrant community is not the same thing as branding all immigrants criminals, Springare said explaining his position.

Swedish police reportedly has significant problems tackling crime in some parts of the country. There are allegedly at least 55 areas in Sweden, where the law cannot be fully upheld, which are dubbed 'no-go zones' by the media.

In other words, a closeted Trump supporter working deep inside hyper-liberal CNN just gave O'Keefe a ton of behind the scenes footage of "The Most Trusted Name In News." My guess is we're about to hear a bunch of establishment media puppets revealing their extreme hatred for the sitting President of the United States.
Remember that time CNN employees were laughing about Trump's plane crashing? If O'Keefe's release is anything along these lines, popcorn sales are about to go through the roof...

I think, as Steel rightly points out as well, that Trump is surrounded by whole bunch of sharks in so many spheres, that it becomes hard for him to do anything good (if that is his intention), if he doesn't start rather "drastic measures" soon.

I also think he is right that they want to eliminate Trump either via assassination, containing, redirecting or impeachment. And I also think that assassination is not the preferred option, as Steel does.

I think the thing to keep in mind though, is that Trump is likely under enormous pressures, not only in the political and media sphere, but also by pretty much all the other means the empire has at its disposal to direct and screw around with people. Like psychological warfare and such.

If we assume that Trump is a fairly normal human being with a touch of narcissism and naivete (which seems to be the case), then we should also consider how such a man can be tricked, fooled and pressured into doing and saying things that are "not very smart", misguided, and even dangerous for himself and others.

If we try to imagine being in his shoes, what he is up against is certainly no bed of roses, to say the least. So I'm not surprised that he says and does things that make it hard to defend him at all in several spheres. And I suspect to see more of that.

I think he should listen to what people like Steel have to say (and more importanatly implement it) and that rather soon.

2015 Report from the Gatestone Institute



Forty years after the Swedish parliament unanimously decided to change the formerly homogenous Sweden into a multicultural country, violent crime has increased by 300% and rapes by 1,472%. Sweden is now number two on the list of rape countries, surpassed only by Lesotho in Southern Africa.

Significantly, the report does not touch on the background of the rapists. One should, however, keep in mind that in statistics, second-generation immigrants are counted as Swedes.

In an astounding number of cases, the Swedish courts have demonstrated sympathy for the rapists, and have acquitted suspects who have claimed that the girl wanted to have sex with six, seven or eight men.

The internet radio station Granskning Sverige called the mainstream newspapers Aftonbladet and Expressen to ask why they had described the perpetrators as "Swedish men" when they actually were Somalis without Swedish citizenship. They were hugely offended when asked if they felt any responsibility to warn Swedish women to stay away from certain men. One journalist asked why that should be their responsibility.

In 1975, the Swedish parliament unanimously decided to change the former homogeneous Sweden into a multicultural country. Forty years later the dramatic consequences of this experiment emerge: violent crime has increased by 300%.

If one looks at the number of rapes, however, the increase is even worse. In 1975, 421 rapes were reported to the police; in 2014, it was 6,620. That is an increase of 1,472%.

Sweden is now number two on the global list of rape countries. According to a survey from 2010, Sweden, with 53.2 rapes per 100,000 inhabitants, is surpassed only by tiny Lesotho in Southern Africa, with 91.6 rapes per 100,000 inhabitants.

According to figures published by The Swedish National Council for Crime Prevention (Brottsförebyggande rådet; known as Brå) -- an agency under the Ministry of Justice -- 29,000 Swedish women, during 2011, reported that they had been raped (which seems to indicate that less than 25% of the rapes are reported to the police).
Strange explanations

Rather than doing something about the problem of violence and rape, Swedish politicians, public authorities and media do their best to explain away the facts. Here are some of their explanations:

Swedes have become more prone to report crime.
The law has been changed so that more sexual offences are now classed as rape.
Swedish men cannot handle increased equality between the sexes and react with violence against women (perhaps the most fanciful excuse).

A long-held feminist myth is that the most dangerous place for a woman is her own home -- that most rapes are committed by someone she knows. This claim was refuted by Brå's report:

"In 58% of cases, the perpetrator was entirely unknown by the victim. In 29% of cases the perpetrator was an acquaintance, and in 13% of cases the perpetrator was a person close to the victim."

Brå reports that there are no major differences between women of Swedish and foreign background when it comes to the risk of being raped. Significantly, the report does not touch on the background of the rapists.
Without parallel

Back in 1975, the year when politicians decided that Sweden was to become multicultural, the Swedish population stood at 8,208,442. By 2014 it had grown to 9,743,087 -- an increase of 18.7%. This growth is entirely due to immigration, as Swedish women on average give birth to 1.92 children compared to the 2.24 average of immigrant women. One should, however, keep in mind that in the statistics, second-generation immigrants are counted as Swedes.

Sweden's recent population growth is without parallel. Never before in the country's history has the number of inhabitants increased so fast. Sweden is now the fastest growing country in Europe.

Over the past 10-15 years, immigrants have mainly come from Muslim countries such as Iraq, Syria and Somalia. Might this mass influx explain Sweden's rape explosion? It is difficult to give a precise answer, because Swedish law forbids registration based on people's ancestry or religion. One possible explanation is that, on average, people from the Middle East have a vastly different view of women and sex than Scandinavians have. And despite the attempts by the Swedish establishment to convince the population that everyone setting foot on Swedish soil becomes exactly like those who have lived here for dozens of generations, facts point in an altogether different direction.

The latest statistical survey of immigrant criminality compared to that of Swedes was done in 2005. The results are practically never mentioned. Not only that; anyone who dares refer to them, for example on social media, is viciously attacked.
Denigration of ethnic groups

Michael Hess, a local politician from Sweden Democrat Party, encouraged Swedish journalists to get acquainted with Islam's view of women, in connection with the many rapes that took place in Cairo's Tahrir Square during the "Arab Spring". Hess wrote, "When will you journalists realize that it is deeply rooted in Islam's culture to rape and brutalize women who refuse to comply with Islamic teachings. There is a strong connection between rapes in Sweden and the number of immigrants from MENA-countries [Middle East and North Africa]."

This remark led to Michael Hess being charged with "denigration of ethnic groups" [hets mot folkgrupp], a crime in Sweden. In May last year, he was handed a suspended jail sentence and a fine -- the suspension was due to the fact that he had no prior convictions. The verdict has been appealed to a higher court.

For many years, Michael Hess lived in Muslim countries, and he is well acquainted with Islam and its view of women. During his trial, he provided evidence of how sharia law deals with rape, and statistics to indicate that Muslims are vastly overrepresented among perpetrators of rape in Sweden. However, the court decided that facts were irrelevant:

"The Court [Tingsrätten] notes that the question of whether or not Michael Hess's pronouncement is true, or appeared to be true to Michael Hess, has no bearing on the case. Michael Hess's statement must be judged based on its timing and context. ... At the time of the offense, Michael Hess referred neither to established research nor to Islamic sources. It was only in connection with his indictment that Michael Hess tried to find support in research and religious writings. The Court therefore notes that Michael Hess's pronouncement was obviously not a part of any reasoned [saklig] or trustworthy [vederhäftig] discussion. Michael Hess's pronouncement must therefore be viewed as an expression of disdain for immigrants with an Islamic faith."

Statistical evidence

What may one conclude from the available statistics?

As part of the evidence Michael Hess presented in court, he made use of whatever statistics existed on immigrant criminality in Sweden before the statistical authorities stopped measuring. Michael Hess tried to find answers to two questions:

Is there a correspondence between the incidence of rape and the number of people with a foreign background in Sweden?
Is there a correspondence between the incidence of rape and some specific group of immigrants in Sweden?

The answer to both questions was an unequivocal Yes. Twenty-one research reports from the 1960s until today are unanimous in their conclusions: Whether or not they measured by the number of convicted rapists or men suspected of rape, men of foreign extraction were represented far more than Swedes. And this greater representation of persons with a foreign background keeps increasing:

1960-1970s – 1.2 to 2.6 times as often as Swedes
1980s – 2.1 to 4.7 times as often as Swedes
1990s – 2.1 to 8.1 times as often as Swedes
2000s – 2.1 to 19.5 times as often as Swedes

Even when adjusted for variables such as age, sex, class and place of residence, the huge discrepancy between immigrants and Swedes remains.

Research reports on crime in Sweden have become a rarity, but among the eighteen that were done during the 1990s and the 2000s, eleven dealt with rape. Two of these reports dealt with the connection between rape and immigration, and they both confirmed that there is a link.

These figures are available to the authorities, the politicians and the press, yet they insist that these numbers do not mirror reality.
Glaring discrepancy

How is it, then, that in 2008, Sweden's neighbor Denmark only had 7.3 rapes per 100,000 inhabitants compared to 53.2 in Sweden?

Danish legislation is not very different from Sweden's, and there is no obvious reason why Danish women should be less inclined to report rape than their Swedish counterparts.

In 2011, 6,509 rapes were reported to the Swedish police -- but only 392 in Denmark. The population of Denmark is about half the size of Sweden's, so even adjusted for size, the discrepancy is significant.

In Sweden, the authorities do what they can to conceal the origin of the rapists. In Denmark, the state's official statistical office, Statistics Denmark, revealed that in 2010 more than half of convicted rapists had an immigrant background.
Foreigners overrepresented

Since 2000, there has only been one research report on immigrant crime. It was done in 2006 by Ann-Christine Hjelm from Karlstads University.

It emerged that in 2002, 85% of those sentenced to at least two years in prison for rape in Svea Hovrätt, a court of appeals, were foreign born or second-generation immigrants.

A 1996 report by the Swedish National Council for Crime Prevention reached the conclusion that immigrants from North Africa (Algeria, Libya, Morocco and Tunisia) were 23 times as likely to commit rape as Swedish men. The figures for men from Iraq, Bulgaria and Romania were, respectively, 20, 18 and 18. Men from the rest of Africa were 16 times more prone to commit rape; and men from Iran, Peru, Ecuador and Bolivia, 10 times as prone as Swedish men.
Gang rapes

A new trend reached Sweden with full force over the past few decades: gang rape -- virtually unknown before in Swedish criminal history. The number of gang rapes increased spectacularly between 1995 and 2006. Since then no studies of them have been undertaken.

One of the worst cases occurred in 2012, when a 30-year old woman was raped by eight men in a housing project for asylum seekers, in the small town of Mariannelund. The woman was an acquaintance of a man from Afghanistan who had lived in Sweden for a number of years. He invited her to go out with him. She obliged. The Afghan man took her to a refugee housing project and left her defenseless. During the night, she was raped repeatedly by the asylum seekers and when her "friend" returned, he raped her too. The following morning she managed to call the police. Sweden's public prosecutor has called the incident "the worst crime of rape in Swedish criminal history."

Seven of the men were sentenced to between 4.5 and 6.5 years in prison. Prison time is usually reduced by a third, so it won't be long before the men will be ready for new assaults -- presumably on infidel women.

In cases of gang rape, culprits and victims are most often young and in almost every case, the perpetrators are of immigrant background, mostly from Muslim countries. In an astounding number of cases, the Swedish courts have demonstrated sympathy for the rapists. Several times the courts have acquitted suspects who have claimed that the girl wanted sex with six, seven or eight men.

One striking incident occurred in 2013, in the Stockholm suburb of Tensta. A 15-year-old girl was locked up while six men of foreign extraction had sex with her. The lower court convicted the six men but the court of appeals acquitted them because no violence had occurred, and because the court determined that the girl "had not been in a defenseless position."

This month, all major Swedish media reported on a brutal gang rape on board the Finnish Ferry Amorella, running between Stockholm and Åbo in Finland. Big headlines told the readers that the perpetrators were Swedish:

"Several Swedish Men Suspected of Rape on the Finland Ferry" (Dagens Nyheter).
"Six Swedish Men Raped Woman in Cabin" (Aftonbladet).
"Six Swedes Arrested for Rape on Ferry" (Expressen).
"Eight Swedes Suspected of Rape on Ferry" (TT – the Swedish News Agency).

On closer inspection, it turned out that seven of the eight suspects were Somalis and one was Iraqi. None of them had Swedish citizenship, so they were not even Swedish in that sense. According to witnesses, the group of men had been scouring the ferry looking for sex. The police released four of them (but they are still suspects) whereas four (all Somalis) remain in custody.

Brå has the important task of reporting on crime trends in Sweden. They use a number of different sources. In addition to statistics regarding reported offences and the Swedish Crime Survey (Nationella trygghetsundersökningen – NTU)
