Boards of Canada: Orange Hexagon Sun
A rare one from the scenic synth/sample duo

YES! I love Boards of Canada. Interesting selection, too. I've never heard that one before. It sounds like it's an early study for their later track "Turquoise Hexagon Sun", which is my all-time favourite BOC song. Thanks for posting!

Julian Lage has a real talent - up there with Metheny, Benson, McLaughlin etc.
Agreed, he is something else, his breadth and playfullness is rare. His most recent musical partnerships are interesting to follow, not at least Aristides Rivas, thanks.

Another of my faves of his:

Yeah it does seem like it might be a study for 'turquoise...', another good one. They make very interesting soundscapes, had a longer pause from them as their music seemed to have an effect of sentimentality and dissociation (in my reflection), now they're back on the playlist making for a good backdrop to thinking.

the one that got me interested: Happy Cycling

Great euphoric trance track from one of the greats.

Cenk Celsin — Gzel Uyku

This music reminds me the movie Meetings with Remarkable Men:

It has been said that Mongolia can be described as a place where Earth & Sky stretch endlessly. If there is a particular music that encapsulates this it is this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZXqX891cuXo&feature=related at least so far. The rhythm and melody almost take you to an endless expanse that seems to continue indefinitely, at least until it stops, then you are back staring at the computer.

Easily my favourite song right now is You & Me by the Dave Matthews Band on their album Big Whiskey & the GrooGrux King.

I'm a 52 year old male so when every time the words

and when the kids are old enough
we're going to teach them to fly

are sung and I stretch to the sky then assume a flying position with my arms, should I be surprised at the reaction of those around me? Actually, they all enjoy it. Such a joyous moment in a beautiful song.
