This song by the Black Eyed Peas with Sting to the beat of Sting's song Englishman in New York is probably one of my favourite songs, I love the music and I love the lyrics....

"[Chorus]
(One for all, one for all) {what I interpret the STO dynamic to be}
(It's all it's all for one)
Let's start a union, calling every human
It's one for all and all for one
Let's live in unison, calling every citizen
It's one for all and all for one

We don't want war- can't take no more
It's drastic time for sure
We need a antidote and a cure
Coz do you really think Mohammed got a problem with Jehovah
We don't want war – imagine if any prophet was alive
In current days amongst you and I
You think they would view life like you and I do
Or would they sit and contemplate on why
Do we live this way, act and behave this way {it's called pathocrats and ponerization}
We still livin' primitive today {not much has changed since the days of Rome and the times of Julius Caesar}
'Cause the peace in the destination of war can't be the way
There's no way, so people just be a woman, be a man
Realise that you can change the world by changing yourself {referring to the Work}
And understand that we're all just the same
So when I count to three let's change

[Chorus]

Got no time for grand philosophy
I barely keep my head above the tide
I got this mortgage, got three kids at school
What you're saying is the truth that really troubles me inside
I'd change the world if I could change my mind
If I could live beyond my fears
Exchanging unity for all my insecurity
Exchanging laughter for my tears

[Chorus]

I don't know, y'all, we in a real deposition
In the midst of all this negative condition
Divided by beliefs, differences and religion {divide and conquer}
Why do we keep missing the point on our mission? {COINTELPRO, confusion, misinformation}
Why are we killin' each other, what's the reason? {um, yeah pathocrats come to mind}
God made us all equal in his vision {the many names of God, good bad and ugly; the balance of the Universe}
I wish that I could make music as a religion
Then we could harmonise together in this mission
Listen, I know it's really hard to make changes
But two of us could help rearrange this curse {what I see Laura and Ark doing here}
Utilising all the power in our voices
Together we will unite and make the right choice
And fight for education, save the next generation {All there is is lessons - Cs}
Come together as one
I don't understand why it's never been done
So let's change on the count of one

It takes one, just one
And then one follows the other one
And then the other follows another one
Next thing you know you got a billion
People doing some wonderful things {what I see happening on this forum}
People doing some powerful things
Let's change and do some powerful things
Unity could be a wonderful thing

[Chorus]

More from Blackmore's Night

"Locked Within The Crystal Ball"

Here in the spotlight this moment is ours
No one can stop us, we're one with the stars

I feel the waves begin to rise
Far across the ocean deep within your eyes
Silently watching as they fall
I can see the future locked within the crystal ball

Strike up the lightening, hear my prayer
Feel the light electric dancing through the air
Here by the ancient castle wall
Can you see the future locked within the crystal ball

Here in the spotlight this moment is ours
No one can stop us, we're one with the stars

Quiet by nature, standing tall
Old stone circles, they have seen it all
Caught like a ghost in yesterday, shadows down the hall
Are locked within the crystal ball

Fire and water, earth and sky
Mysteries surround us, legends never die
They live for the moment, lost in time, I can hear them call
They're locked within the crystal ball

I feel the waves begin to rise
Far across the ocean deep within your eyes
Silently watching as they fall
I can see the future locked within the crystal ball

High on a Rocky Ledge by Moondog.

High on a rocky ledge lives a Mädel, Edelweiß.
Shy as a shadow, lovely as lace, and cold as ice.
High on a rocky ledge, I pledged my love to her.
Ev´ry time I climb up to Paradise.
How many times I´ve been up to see her, goodness knows, Huffing and puffing, dressed in the warmest climbing clothes.
How many chances would be taken in my Hopeless pursuit of the Schnee-Mädel-Edelweiß.
Then spoke a spirit, "If you would win your Lady Love, There´s only one way: fall to your death from high above.
You will begin to grow in snow beside the one
You have waited for to be mated with."

Now, I´m an Edel, vice to my Mädel, Edelweiß.
Dying to be with her wasn´t any sacrifice.
we´re so deliriously happy on your ledge
Where I pledge my love to my Lady Fair.
You who are climbing breathless to see me and my love.
Snow flowers growing fonder on Lover´s Ledge above.
If you´ve the yen to pluck, then pluck us both,
For we who have lived as one, wish to die as one.

It's been a while since I last listened to this.

I can't stop listening First Aid Kit. It contains a lot of personal messages for me, osit. Definitely going to buy the "Lion's roar" CD. The music, the meaning (lyrics) is amazing!
Once again, thank you, Kniall, for introducing me to this musical miracle. :)

Lyrics here _http://www.metrolyrics.com/new-year-s-eve-lyrics-first-aid-kit.html

Well it's a new year
With it comes new hope and new fear
Met a young man who was in tears
He asked me what induces us to stay here
I said I don't know much
And I'm not lying
But I think you just have to keep on trying
And I know I am nave
But if anything

That's what's going to save me
That's what's going to save me

Took a stroll around the neighborhood
Where the trees are swaying
People pass in cars with their windows down
With a pop song playing
A man walked by
Rocking back and forth the street
With a drunken smile to go along
He stopped to look at me and said
"Child, don't fear doing things wrong"
Yet I am still afraid
But if anything

That's what's going to save me
That's what's going to save me

Now I have a lot to learn and I'm starting tonight
Gotta stop looking at things like they're black and they're white
Gotta write more songs, love a little more, treat my friends better,
Gotta stop worrying about everything to the letter
And sometimes when it's too hard to get on
It just might be you that I'll come upon
But I find it hard to believe
But if anything

That's what's going to save
That's what's going to save me

Tell me tell me
Oh what's going to save me

definitely my favorite piece for harpsichord

whether this conspiracy theory is true or not I prefer to stick to classical music :)

i read the article to the full, this is about tuning frequency not composing, so it does not matter whether its classical music or not :(
unless you are listening to the recordings pre 1930-ies

Very beautiful! Mozart music played on harpsichord, as it was meant to be played, even more beautiful, osit. Thank you for sharing, Herr Eisenheim, it was a very welcome change for me. After having some very painful personal realization 3 days ago, I was mostly listening Handel music :) and Mozart's as well. That's I was listening to for the last couple of days goes as follows:

Montserrat Caballe - Lascia Ch'io Pianga _http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bJ8-QV000p4

Original words:

Lascia ch'io pianga mia cruda sorte,
E che sospiri la libertà!
E che sospiri,
e che sospiri la libertà!
Lascia ch'io pianga mia cruda sorte,
E che sospiri la libertà!
Il duolo infranga queste ritorte de miei martiri sol per pietà,
de miei martiri sol per pietà.
E che sospiri la libertà!

English translation:

Let me weep
Let me weep for my cruel fate
And sigh after freedom!
And let me sigh
Sigh after freedom!
Let me weep for my cruel fate
And sigh after freedom!
May sorrow, out of pity, break the ropes of my sufferings,
of my sufferings, out of pity.
And let me sigh after freedom!

Montserrat Caballe "Casta diva" Norma Orange 1974 _http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FIQQv39dcNE

Italian Lyrics

Casta Diva, che inargenti
queste sacre antiche piante,
a noi volgi il bel sembiante
senza nube e senza vel...
Tempra, o Diva,
tempra tu de’ cori ardenti
tempra ancora lo zelo audace,
spargi in terra quella pace
che regnar tu fai nel ciel...

English Translation

Pure Goddess, whose silver covers
These sacred ancient plants,

We turn to your lovely face
unclouded and without veil...

Temper, oh Goddess,

The hardening of you ardent spirits

Temper your bold zeal,

Scatter peace across the earth

Thou make reign in the sky...

Andreas Scholl sings "She moved through the fair" _http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tN5PmR3_XBQ

My love said to me
My Mother won't mind
And me Father won't slight you
For your lack of kind
Then she stepped away from me
And this she did say
It will not be long love
Till our wedding day

She stepped away from me
And she moved through the fair
And fondly I watched her
Move here and move there
And she went her way homeward
With one star awake
As the swans in the evening
Move over the lake

The people were saying
No two e'er were wed
But one has a sorrowThat never has a sorrow
That never was said
And she smiled as she passed me
With her goods and her gear

And that was the last
That I saw of my dear.

I dreamed it last night
That my true love came in
So softly she entered
Her feet made mo din
she came close beside me
And this she did say
It would not be long love
Till our wedding day.

Lyrics: "Let my implacable father come then. Let him threaten and fume, my heart will not yield to his scorn and fury. Let him respect and fear Rome in me."

Still watching and listening some parts (it is long) of G.F.Handel: Giulio Cesare in Egitto, HWV 17 (unfortunately, I don't understand the words (French and Italian), but it was intersting musically speaking, osit) _http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WjdBPSZy8rU
