What are you listening to?

Out of the ruins, out from the wreckage
Can't make the same mistakes this time
We are the children, the last generation
We are the ones they left behind
And I wonder when we are ever gonna change?
Living under the fear, till nothing else remains
We don't need another hero,
We don't need to know the way home
All we want is life beyond the Thunderdome ...

The following singer, Steve Ellis, was only 17 when he recorded the following love song - although he sounds like a mature 37. The background chorus seems to indicate however that it's in praise of the noble handicraft of knitting - with it's refain of ' Needle love to last for ever'. The video is from 1968 and is not an outtake from an Austin Powers movie - still a bit weird mind.

So I've been listening to this Chinese traditional fusion rock music recently. I don't understand a lick of it, but it's pleasing to my ears. Sometimes it puts me into almost a premeditative state before bed.
