What's for Dinner?

Pork roast with Basmati rice medley from Trader Joe's.
Yesterday was organic pork sausages,
and the day before organic ground beef fried with onions in bacon fat with gluten free pasta.

Diced chicken in curry sauce with white rice. (Coconut milk, ghee, grapeseed oil, garlic, turmeric, cumin, salt, pepper) Unbelievably good! :D

Last night, pork shoulder in the oven with quinoa made with the fat from the pork shoulder (it was lots of it!).

Tonight, hash brown sweet potatoes with beef sausages (left overs from breakfast, busy day :cool2: ).

Herr Eisenheim, would you post the recipe for the carrot and orange soup. I recall a wonderful carrot and orange soup in Moroccan restaurant in Palma, Majorca, but I have never been able to duplicate the recipe. :)
Sorry for belated reply I only saw your question now.
I think Laura doesn't want recipes here but this is simple few liner...
Put chopped onions on hot coconut oil ( this is my addition to recipe instead of olive oil but you can use lard or duck fat if you want less flamboyant taste) and once they are yellow add carrots and potatoes chopped in small cubes. Add water to cover everything and simmer until soft. When you take of the stove add juice of one orange half ( definitely not more as it will ruin the taste) and some orange rind, blend with blender and voila. Add salt and pepper to the taste and you can decorate with parsley leaves. Some people like to put fresh mint leaves but I prefer parsley. This is my favorite soup.

Tonight is roast beef with baked potatoes and steamed veggies. Gluten free carrot cake ( the recipe in the dot connector) and I use the topping from RyanX German chocolate cake here;http://cassiopaea.org/forum/index.php?topic=22125.0. They go well together.

Chicken breasts cooked in garlic ghee, steamed spinach with lemon, plain rice. Hubby cooked this evening to give me a rest. Yay!
