What's for Dinner?

Pork, carrot, celery and buckwheat pie (buckwheat and lard pie crust). Followed by blueberry pie (with xylitol and d-ribose added to the berries and the pastry). :D

When I was skimming the new posts my brain saw "Parrot" instead of "Pork, carrot". For a second I thought to myself "geez we're really getting exotic now.... I don't think I want to eat parrots!"

Last night I had a green salad and some chili made with hamburger, red beans, organic tomatoes, onions, garlic and spices.

Not good to ask a question without doing the work, but is there some cook-book that contain some of these delectable delights???
That would be the kind of mainstream book to get out information (ie: website URLs & such in the book jacket) to those who would seek, if they only had a visual opportunity for stimulating their curiosity.

I asked my wife and daughter what they want to eat for super and they unanimously choose Blinis burger. So it will with maybe a salad or steam veggies and fried potatoes in duck fat.

Free range chicken thighs in batter with squash and sweet potatoes, quinoa and cabbage.

Two good sized grass-fed rib eye steaks with fried onions and garlic. I was going to have a salad with it but I was too full

mmm ... mmm Sounds good! Here it was just toasted quinoa bread with ghee and a little almond butter.

Ground beef, fried in a generous helping of duck fat and seasoned with thyme, sage, salt, black pepper, garlic, coriander and mustard seed, mixed into a bowl with some quinoa. I fried a slice of gammon (to save for breakfast) in the duck fat and then drizzled the fat over the meal I prepared for added flavour.

Very tasty and a quick way to prepare two meals if you don't have much time. Total prep time was just over 35mins, and I'm a slow cook!

Leftover from the lunch: Roasted organic chicken with home produced zucchini, potato and spring onion.

Fresh ham smoked on the barbecue. We took the skin/fat off and made pork cracklins too! Steamed carrots.

Mackerel fillet, steamed carrots, sauerkraut, and a green salad with extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
