What's for Dinner?

Pan fried wild salmon, with a mix of portobello mushrooms, eggplant, and garlic. Seasoned with salt, pepper, and curcumin. :)

Jam flour cupcakes with butter and black tea with almond milk! Feeling a little nostalgic of my past diet, so no meats for tonight.

Roast pork breast. The piece usually used for bacon- crunchy crust, big layer of fat on top of smaller amount of meat, then ribs at the bottom. I've made this all week as it's very tasty, easy (sprinkle salt -1½ hour on 200̊ C in oven) and it's perfectly proportioned for the high fat/low protein diet.

I just had cold, sliced pork belly for lunch. People who have a psychological or physical aversion to pork, might try eating pork cold and sliced. It took several months to get the gall bladder, liver etc. up to speed to eat and metabolize quantities of pork fat. Now, sliced pork belly is a staple of my diet. It is just delicious and satisfys the hunger I experience from several hours of physical labor. :)

Can I ask what was in the jam and the cupcakes?

I could be wrong, but I think he means yam flour cupcakes with butter. In that case, it's not as bad as it sounds, other than the carbs. If I'm wrong, I'm sure he'll let me know!

Yes! Spelling mistake! Yam flour is what I meant. I've been having almost no carbs this week, so today I had to bake something, I was missing my breads too much :)

Pork chop (neck slice) with cracklings

After a fat rendering I've got a bag full of pork fat shavings with some meat attached 80% fat 20 % meat (didn't want to possibly spoil the rendering with meat in the pot), does anyone have an idea how to use (a dish)?

I've been drooling for pork chops since I read 'The List' in the Life without bread thread. ;D We can't get them as fatty as in the picture, but I do slather them in ghee and bake them.

Tonight is ghee baked pork chops with broccoli, also slathered in ghee and sea salt. I'm still treating for sluggish liver, and its slowly, slowly improving.

Ham steak cooked in "garlic" bacon grease ( the grease has a garlic flavor from when I cooked a piece of beef with 8 garlic cloves) with portabella mushrooms, seasoned with black pepper. Eggs over easy, on the side. The runny yolks make for a good "gravy".

Waste not want not. :P Chop the shavings as small as you can and put them into a buckwheat bread mix; savory instead of sweet. Two cups full of shavings per 500g of buckwheat should do the trick.

I started my paleo diet today and had a lovely tea! A huge chicken leg pan-fried in olive oil alongside some sweet potatoe mash! That's living alright

Not quite sure potatoes are part of the paleo diet, you may search potatoes in the forum for more info.
